We pulled into the Westhaven library parking lot and looked up at the gothic inspired building. It was one of the oldest structures in Vermont with its spiral pillars and dark gray exterior. It looked more like an old catholic church then a library but it was the largest one in New England and housed over two million volumes.
“Are you sure about this?” Sage asked looking up at the ominous structure.
“We have to get her.” I replied my eyes still locked on the edifice. Carson placed a hand on my shoulder.
“And we will.” He comforted. We had called everyone we could think of. We had the remaining Coven members and the wolves that sided with us, along with my parents; my dad included, Pit, Isaac, Sage, and Lucas all on standby. We had the library surrounded. Even Iris was there to help.
“So, he works in a library?” Lucas asked breaking the silence.
“Fitting isn’t? He’s old and about to be obsolete.” Sage snarked.
