Feeling Hopeful

Chris laughed out seeing the surprised looked on Tina's face and he asked her,

"Tell me the truth Tina. Did you or didn't you went to Patrick's family house, stayed there up to a week, while receiving other pleasure from him, yet you lied to me that your phone got missing. How could you Tina, how?."

Chris wasn't raised to hit a woman, no matter what. As it was a taboo in his village, same as Patrick.

He was very angry and bitter looking at Tina. She never allowed him to touched her even for once, And yet she lied to him that she didn't loved Patrick, whereas her body crave for Patrick's touch.

Chris finally left Tina in his parlour and he went to tell his domestic staff to prepared something for Tina to eat, so she could drink her medicine.

Tina couldn't said anything to Chris, but she got relieved when he left in the parlour, even as she was still scared of what Chris might do to her.

Tina managed to ate her evening food, as her son has already slept off, and was in the room, that Chris had given to her sleeping.

Tina felt truly sorry for Chris, As she also wanted to marry him and be his wife, but Patrick spoilt everything.

Tina bited on her lower lip, as she managed to finished her food so she could drank her medicine, and Chris didn't came out again, as he already went into his room to nurse his broken heart.

Chris didn't wanted to saw Tina, As he had kidnapped her from her village, her hometown, out of love and brought her to his place in the city, so Patrick wouldn't marry her before he did.

But now, Chris seemed, he had over reacted as Tina was already carrying Patrick's seed deep in her womb, And if only he had brought her on time to his place in the city, when he wanted too, all that couldn't have happened.

"Her father never allowed me take Tina along with me to the City, and yet they allowed Patrick took her to his village in disguise of bringing his son home, and her mother doesn't like me either" Chris murmured in his room, as he was so bittered, and he stayed away from Tina all thru the night..

Patrick sister, Sharon was very happy to saw her brother Patrick again. As it had been long she lastly saw Patrick except on the news and social media photos.

Sharon remembered how she ran away from Patrick's home, and went on living in group with her friends after Patrick grounded her. until she got connection to travelled out of the country.

Well Sharon came back home all because of her elder sister wedding, and she wasn't yet tired of flexing and roaming around, even though she heard of the rumors about Prisca, Although she never believed the news, but she hasn't also heard anything as of related to Prisca.

Sharon was shock to saw the cute photo of her little nephew, when her junior sister Amanda previously sent his photo to her. And Sharon couldn't still believe that Patrick truly had an affair with Tina. As she could totally remembered that morning when she came back with Prisca and saw blood stains on Patrick's bed.

Coming out from their village mansion, Sharon went to sat out in the garden, where Patrick sat thinking on what he would do, and Sharon greeted him,

"Good morning brother."

Patrick just stared at his sister, As Sharon had obviously changed, but she was still slim and classic.

And Patrick finally replied her, "Good morning."

Patrick wasn't interested to asked her where she has been all these while, As he heard the gossips and saw the photos online himself, of Sharon with white men, And so there was no point questioning her.

"Brother wouldn't you ask me how I am doing?" Sharon finally asked Patrick, meeting his gazed. And Patrick sighed and replied,

"I can see, you are alright. So why should I ask you."

Patrick was nonchalant, making Sharon to frown, and she pouted her lips and said, "I know you are angry with me, but at least, am an adult now."

"Yes I know, you an adult, and that's why am not asking you, since you can take care of yourself" Patrick stared away, and continue pressing his phone, While Sharon asked him,

"So how's Tina?. I saw your child with her photos, as Amanda sent it to me. His very cute, like those foreign guys" Sharon emphasize, And Patrick replied her faintly, "I Know."

"So why haven't you married her yet?. Although I don't seem to like that local girl even though she's cute" Sharon stated, and Patrick stared to her.

"You don't need to like Tina, but I do love her, so you should learn to respect her, I will marry her, not for custom or tradition sake , but because I want her" Patrick replied to Sharon calmly.

"Hmm, okay. So when next will she be visiting, I still want to see her though, especially my little nephew, I want to see him before going back, although I don't know her family house, I could have just visited them myself" Sharon said.

"No. You will see them, but not now. So don't stress yourself looking for her family house" Patrick responded.

"Okay brother" Sharon stood up and left Patrick. As she knew Patrick wouldn't question her silly way of life, unlike her elder brother, whom almost flogged her, when she returned, if not for her father's intervention.

Patrick didn't waited for Cindy in-laws to arrived, As he had to be on his way back to Ochanda village. It was important for him to knew at least any clue of whom Tina's boyfriend was. As he couldn't just wrapped it off his mind that Tina left him and ran away with her lover.

Anytime Patrick thought of it, He got really annoyed and sad. And so, he drove straight to Tina's father house, and parked, As had given his own mother enough money, just in case they would be needing anything in preparation of Cindy's marriage. So none of them would called him on phone, as he wasn't happy. And it was better for him to stayed away from his sister's marriage ceremony.

If not, his mother would noticed his sadness, as his mother knew how to worry over irrelevant things.

Patrick sighed as he got to Mama-Tina's house, And the compound seemed quiet like no one was around.

Patrick parked his Jeep and stepped down, while he went to knocked on their entrance door. Looking around the compound, Patrick could tell no one was at home.

And so, Patrick assumed maybe Mama-Tina has gone to her shade, as it was a Tuesday afternoon, And the kids would've all gone to school, and he went back to his Jeep and drove to Mama-Tina's shade.

Arriving at Mama-Tina's shade, Patrick parked on the opposite side of the road, and he came down and cross over, while walking up to Mama-Tina's shade.

"Good afternoon Mama" Patrick greeted, as he approached Mama-Tina, whom just finished attending to some of her customers.

"Welcome my son, I forgot, you said you will be coming today" Mama-Tina replied, just as she arranged a stool for Patrick to sat on.

"Yes Mama, I have too. Although today my sister's husband are coming for her hand in marriage, but I cannot wait for the marriage to be over, As finding Tina and my son is more important to me than that. At least let me know if she truly left me for her boyfriend, or she was kidnapped" Patrick said, And Mama-Tina stared at him trying to process what he just said.

"I don't understand you my son" Mama-Tina replied, and Patrick sighed and took a seat.

"Mama, don't you think is high time taking a shop will be better. At least, you tell me the cost, I can afford it for you, as I don't like this place you are staying and selling your market" Patrick said, and Mama-Tina smiled to him and replied, "My son I will do that, not to worry, but what did you say about Tina?. Did you find her in the City?."

Mama-Tina stared hopefully at Patrick, hoping he had seen her daughter, and Patrick replied, "Hmph.. no mama, but.."
