I MEAN when creatures who appeared out of norwhere came out of magic portals. Humanaity actually them fought off with ease for the first thousand years until the monsters got stronger although by that time people became to awaken powers and once again the monsters were repelled.



But of course the fucking universe was like hey that doesn't follow so the script so BRING IN THE MYTHS



Which was a double edged sword as myths eould bless humans but also give their blessing to monsters
