after atsui had awoken an hour late and got some food and water in his body, both bakugo and Atsui had to think of a name for the first version of Atsui's final move. it was given the name Sun Eater or Burnt Core till either Atsui or bakugo came up with a better name for the form

since Atsui had woken up they decided to try the other idea which was named Starburst. the plan was to create a whole lot of orbs and slowly increase the size of each to increase the input so they could increase the output.

Atsui started the test by slowly increasing the size of his first orb till it was the size of a bowling ball then he made another orb and did the same as the first and related the process till he had ten orbs the size of a bowling ball floating in a circular motion over Atsui's head.

bakugo was sitting on the sidelines grumpy and hungry. he was jealous of his best friend's quirk, it had too much potential.

Atsui decided to try and walk with the orbs, and much to all the people watching's surprise all the spheres just broke, there was no sign of damage they just cracked into a thousand tiny pieces.

Atsui was quickly able to get all the orbs set up again but this time he didn't move, the crimson spheres were fine but he tried again to move and the second he took a step they broke. it honestly was interesting because there wasn't a scientific explanation on why the orbs were breaking. anyhow Atsui decided to finally test the power of the orbs.

the orbs were up again, Atsui started with a test of range, how far his quirk's border was. why he started that was because in the Burnt Core form his range shrank, it was practically sitting on the surface of his skin but Atsui didn't notice at first because he was making the area snow so he thought the range was normal.

the range of the Starburst form was seemingly infinite, the range was expanding the longer the form was on and it never stopped expanding. the weird thing was that Atsui could actually sense the things within the range, his regular quirk just gave him an area around him where he could change the temperature and nothing more.

the next thing Atsui tested was power. he heated the small area surrounding him and somehow the heat became flames out of thin air and traveled way too far. the form had a weird effect because it was supposed to increase the power in general but it made Atsui weaker and made his power spread and stretch to burn or freeze everything unless he disabled his quirk.

Atsui decided to try something foolish in the way he tried to get bakugo to attack him using his quirk which worked as in the words of bakugo "I'LL DO ANYTHING TO GET A CHANCE TO BEAT YOUR ASS". in the worst way possible both bakugo and Atsui received a face full of explosions because Atsui successfully pulled off what he wanted. Atsui tried to reflect the explosion coming from bakugo and did till bakugo released the second explosion right after the first.

Atsui could redirect bakugo's explosion and probably other things but he didn't have anybody else willing to fight or with a quirk that has decent power. now since Atsui had to final moves he would need to choose which to train in the final month and with barely anytime left. it honestly didn't matter which he chose since both were powerful it was just deciding which has more weaknesses.

the Burnt core form was chosen due to its weaknesses being more dire in certain situations. the training was staying on Takoba Municipal Beach due to the fact of Atsui did not want to burn down the gym.

the training consisted of expanding the range of Burnt core and not fainting during his training. while trying to expand his range Atsui was melting everything on the beach that wasn't sand turning the beach into molten metal every time Atsui came there. he had cleaned the beach in just under a week, with some difficulty like the fact All might was stalking him.

Atsui had forgotten that he was being forced to follow a certain path it was why he was at the beach in the first place because bakugo recommended it with no clear explanation. Atsui didn't want one for all due to the stupidity of what it might do to his quirk. One for all was a quirk that increased power through stockpiling energy and heat manipulation was already strong, to begin with, so imagine it on steroids in burnt core form or starburst form.

Atsui also knew of the weakness of having One for all, your life span was shortened and you were guaranteed to die at the age of 40 if you had a quirk when inheriting the ability. it also guaranteed you had All for One as your enemy which wasn't great because no matter how strong you were All for One was probably stronger depending on the quirks he had at the moment.

back to the, All Might tailing Atsui in his skinny form. All Might was looking for a successor to his quirk and while looking at the beach that he was planning to clean if he didn't get a successor to his quirk before the school started, he saw two young lads, one with spiky blond hair and a aggressive temperament, the other was a black-haired on the shorter side who was completely stoic. they had come there to test the black-haired kid's idea for his quirks final move.

the kid passed out from exhaustion after becoming a muscular man with no stomach, it took a minute but the kid was awake again and did the next test of using his quirk's ability to the max by increasing the input and output from All might's small observation. the kid pulled his idea off but apparently he couldn't move or it stopped. and for the next two weeks, All might stalked the small child on his training to clean up the beach.

about ten months ago

"dammit, Kirogiri where'd that black-haired bastard of an AC go" the light blue-haired man shouted infuriated by the heat.

"Sir, Atsui has quit his part-time job with us due to the fact he has to prepare for school" Kirogiri replied with a patient expression quite in contrast to the man child.

"What School is he going to, preparing eleven months early" the blue-haired man calmed a little but was still pissed.

"Atsui is preparing to go to U.A apparently" Kirogiri replied in the same stoic voice with no emotions.

"why in the hell is a bastard who allies himself with villains going to a hero school" the blue-haired man was match calmer just confused.

"Atsui said when he notified me of his leave that he was going to be forced into U.A without his consent and that we should by an AC when he left, Shigaraki" kirogiri returned to cleaning the glasses even though he had just finished before Shigaraki talked with him.

"how in the bloody hell would he be forced into U.A of all places" Shigaraki replied even more confused
