Declare

Hearing those words, Akainu immediately began to grow worried. If Imai was going to go all out, he needed all the firepower he could get. And right on time, a familiar figure stood next to him.

"Kizaru, you made it." Akainu said.

"Yes, let's get her. But we'll defeat her this time." Kizaru said as Akainu nodded.

"Can you two really afford the luxury to chat right now?" Imai asked.

Akainu widened his eyes, her voice was dangerously close to him. His instincts screamed danger as he coated his arm in Armament Haki and blocked the blade.

Kizaru shot a light beam at Imai which Imai broke apart using high voltages of lightning. Strangely, he felt a shock through his arm, as he was blasted backwards.

Imai stared at her palm which was surrounded by streaks of lightning and sparks. She was elated by the power that she had gained. If she couldn't swim, then all she had to do was fly.

"Like I said, here are my full capabilities."

Akainu turned behind him and yelled, "Everyone! Retreat!"

However, it was too late. The potential of the lightning devil fruit was too high and when someone as powerful as Imai wields it, she was basically the grim reaper.

*BOOM*

The night sky was calm, there was no rain, and the area was filled with the sound of screaming marines. The dark purple streaks of lightning continued to zap at different areas of the island causing explosions.

The marines were relieved when it stopped, but fear once again was instilled into them when they stared into the sky. Lightning in the form of blades started to charge at them and sent high voltages throughout their body.

They were burned internally.

Akainu and Kizaru couldn't get close to Imai, the lightning that surrounded her was too powerful. They could both tell she emitted even more powerful voltages of lightning than Enel.

"How does it feel, admirals? To see your people die, helplessly, at the hands of a pirate. It sure frustrates you doesn't it? The fact that you can't do anything as your soldiers slowly die." Imai said with a small smile.

Her eyes shone of pure evil and bliss.

"Shut up! Die!" Akainu exclaimed as he charged through the layer of lightning, the burns on his skin didn't matter to him. He was desperate to kill Imai.

Suddenly, there was a sharp pain in his stomach. His fist was raised into the air as his eyes looked down and back up. A blade had pierced through his stomach and his eyes met with eyes that seemed to look down on him.

Imai watched as Akainu slowly dropped to his knees and pulled the blade out of his stomach. She glanced at Kizaru who was contemplating whether to attack or not. She chuckled.

"Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, I would've never thought that out of all people, you would allow emotions to cloud your judgment." Imai said as she glanced around. "The battle is coming to an end. Admiral Kizaru, do you want to continue this fight?"

Kizaru stared at Imai who had her sword pointed at him. He glanced at Akainu who suffered a major injury and needed to be attended to as soon as possible. He was still thinking when Imai had suddenly walked past him.

However, his senses told him to not bother. He faced forward and listened to the screams of the marines that had started to grow louder than the lightning that once boomed at them.

Imai swung her two blades, she cut down every marine that was in her way. The marines came at her endlessly, but none of them could even touch Imai.

She kicked a marine away before turning around and cutting off an arm of one of the marines. He stared at his arm in shock before the world had turned upside down. His final thought before his death was that he realized his head had been removed from his body.

Time passed as the pirates stopped fighting. The battle between Shanks and Fujitora was over. Fujitora had retreated and returned to aid Akainu who was bleeding a lot.

On the battlefield, there stood a figure who was covered in blood. She stared into the sky that was covered in stars. She leaned back and lowered her arms that held a blade in each hand.

The remaining marines had given up trying to kill Imai. They were afraid of even coming close to her, the will to fight was long gone. The only emotion that felt was fear.

"You're a devil!"

"A demon!"

"Leave us alone!"

Imai glanced at the marines who were cowering in fear.

"You should just run if all you're going to do is talk. Let's enjoy the scenery together, yeah? The sky has blessed us with such beautiful stars." Imai said as she reached out her hand to grab one.

The marines slowly backed away, they couldn't understand how a human could be so evil. Enjoy the scenery? There were countless corpses all around them, the ground had been covered in a crimson color, and there were missing limbs as well as heads everywhere.

"Listen!" Imai yelled, gathering the attention of the three admirals, pirates, and the remaining marines. "This battle is over, if you leave now, there will be no more bloodshed. And before that, I hereby declare the creation of my own pirate crew."

"The Seven Apostles. I am the captain and my vice captain will be Uta! As for the five vacant positions, those who are strong enough will be on trial to join. If you wish to follow me, the Empress of the Blade, look for me in the New World!"

The words that came out of Imai shook everyone on the island, but even more to Shanks who heard that his daughter will be joining Imai as the vice commander. He glanced at Uta who seemed to be surprised as well.

"Did she tell you any of this?" Shanks asked.

Uta shook her head, "No, she didn't tell me anything about her making a crew, and having me join it. But I guess this is what she meant by taking responsibility."

"But are you okay with joining her?" Shanks asked worriedly.

"Yes, I'm more than happy to join her. After all, I wish to see the New World for myself too, as well as the new age she'll bring upon." Uta said with a small chuckle.

Shanks sighed, "Alright then."

He stared out into the distance where Imai was standing. Today was another tragedy, countless lives were taken, and the island of Elegia was covered in blood. Backups had started to appear to aid the innocents and clean up the mess.

Soon, the night sky had turned into the rising sun. The hair of two figures fluttered in the wind as they leaned against the railing of the ship.

"So, where to now, Imai?"

"Wherever fate takes us."

The two had matching hoodies as they laughed together.
