Jason and the Silver Wood Pack

He truly felt worthless as a friend and a human in society. But was he even human? He was a creature of fire. A creature that could burn the whole town without mercy, but most people around him were killed.

Max vowed to stay in the neighboring town for the next few months and took a different identity. He wanted to live in peace. He wanted to try and reflect on his actions. He didn't dare to look for Jason, but he swore to protect those that needed his protection.

The hunters killed Willis and the other infernos. The mission he started to turn against the powered had caused more harm than good. But how long would he stay in the new town in peace?

For weeks Jason had been training and planning on taking down the ancient hunter's family and rescuing his parents. With the help of Damian and his pack, it was much easier for them to mobilize everything. All the planning was not without resistance.

Carley, Damian's Beta, didn't like it.

They were helping someone, not from their pack. He was an outsider and refused to join the pack. He was arrogant but hard-working. He felt threatened. His position in the pack was in jeopardy. Could it be in his head?

Jason has been training like hell. He didn't care about his image and what Carley thought of him. He wanted to get his parents out. The town was on fire. The others were killed, and if they were lucky, they escaped. He felt terrible about everything. It was all his fault. If he had not killed max mother, probably, it would not have happened. It would not have happened if he had not told Max about a book full of images and the names of the supernatural in town. The guilt ran him down, and at some point, he could not even heal when injured.

The emotions running in his body made him look like a maniac. The only person that could talk him down was Damian. Over the weeks, they have been stronger. Jason's magic was much stronger. Only a few people knew he could wield magic, and those were all Damian trusted people.

"Tonight we are going for your parents. They are held in a cell but not hard to infiltrate with all the plans and arrangements we have" in a room in a huge old mansion in the woods, Damian and Jason were talking. He was looking out into the woods from the window. He could see miles away. His sight as a werewolf and a wizard gave him more power to see far. He was powerful compared to a normal wizard of a werewolf. He had grown to be more powerful than Damian. No one knew this much except for Damian. Himself. Severally he had gone to spar and ended up beaten to the ground.

The guy was a maniac. A crazy fighter. He could fight with no regard for his life. It's like life doesn't matter to him anymore. Somehow, he could understand what he was going through. The mental torture and the psychological effect it had on him were too much. Being betrayed by his friend, and now his parents were captured.

"How prepared at the men you chose?" Jason turned to him and asked. There was no that joyful face in there again. He looked like his soul had been taken from him.

"They are. They are happy to help. Especially Mitchel Monroe" He eyed him, knowing emphasizing the name. Jason didn't react to the name and ignored him. He could not feel anything from Jason. It was like he didn't feel anything for Mitchel. No friendship, no love, no disgust, no hatred, nothing. He sighed inwards and left.

It had been weeks, and Mitchel had fallen deeply in love with Jason. She had tried everything to make him realize but nothing. Other males in the pack hated Jason for it. Mitchel was their gamma. A powerful she-wolf. She was beautiful and a great warrior. Many would've done everything or have done everything to win her affection, but none succeeded. Now, this guy appears, and she falls in love with him. In return, he doesn't care. He ignores her and treats her like dirt. He didn't even place her in his eyes.

That's one of the reasons Carley hated him. He was in love with Mitchel. They grew up together. They have been through life and death situations together, but she never looked at him like a lover. It was different. He knew she loved the guy. The way she carried herself was different. She was soft when it came to him and would do anything to be with him.

But feelings cannot be forced. It was hard for him to accept it. And hating Jason gave him a reason to overcome his feelings somehow. He was bitter

At night in the huge mansion of the ancient hunter family, a group of men in black attacked the guards. There was a hidden underground banker behind the house. There were few guards on duty.

Jason and Damian frowned, looking at the setup. There were way too few guards. It seemed they had let their guard down.

"Something is wrong," Jason observed. He was a hunter. He knew how they worked and what they would've done if they were using his parents as bait.

"What could be wrong? Let's hurry out of here," Carly said arrogantly. Lately, he had been opposing Jason out rightly. The others looked at them and ignored them. They knew why he was upset and directed it at Jason. Carly walked into the bunker.

"Hey, don't be impulsive," Damian said, looking at him going inside. He sighed and assigned different people a different location to look out for.

He could not smell any other humans around there.

"This could be a trap," Mitchel said. She may be stubborn when it comes to her pursuit of love, but she was a great warrior.

It was dimly lit in the dungeon with no one inside apart from Mr. and Mrs. Mackenzie. They were very weak. They were tortured for the last few weeks.

"What are you doing here. Go. Go, they'll come for you" Miriam saw her son, and she was very worried. Those people were merciless and heartless. They were determined to get Jason. What they'll do to him only they know
