Chapter 16

"Wait, my wounds! They're all healed!" Okara shouted as he began unwrapping bandages on his body. Revealing his normal skin with no cuts, or abrasions.

"So the gem can heal you completely?!" Asked Bell.

"I guess so, wait let's see. If it works again."

"Wait, Okara!"

"What?" Okara says as he holds his finger in an awkward position to break it.

"Don't be stupid, there has to be some kind of time limit on it!"

Okara looks at the gem once again. Noticing it wasn't glowing.

"Oh... Yeah, that would be the case. The gem isn't glowing as it was before."

"I can't believe you were about to hurt yourself to test the gem."

"Don't worry about it, Bell I just got carried away."

"No, duh."

Okara and Bell stood silent for a moment as the wind breezed through.

"Now, for your end of the bargain."

"Yeah, I thought you'd say that. Come on, it's gonna take a bit to get there so we might wanna start heading there now."

Okara and Bell return home and Bell quickly grabs the still damaged Gi before fully heading out. As they travel to the truck Okara looks over to Bell The Seconds grave and stares at it for a moment.

"Thank you, for doing that, Okara."

Bell says as she walks up to him and puts her left hand on his right shoulder.

"It was a horrible way for her to go. But she's somewhere better now."

"Anywhere is better than here right now."

"That might be true. But life isn't always like this on earth. Just remember that when it comes to taking another's life."

Bell said as she stared Okara in the eyes.

"Yeah..."

"Well let's go. Best we start heading that way before it gets dark."

It was five minutes till five and the sun was slowly setting as they got into the truck. Okara gets in the bed like usual and Bell in her driver's seat. Taking off in no time.

Back at Rose's lab, Arako stands listening to Rose and her craziness.

"The process is so tedious and so boring! Ugh!! Why can't I just make minions so much faster."

Cassa was unconscious on the metal table with metal cuffs holding her wrists and ankles down. Plastic tubes stringed from her arms with her blood running through them. On Rose's computer, the process bar was only at thirty percent and climbing.

"Arako, dear make yourself useful and get me some refreshments. I'm afraid we'll be here all night."

"As you wish, lady Rose."

Arako walks right to the door that leads out of the room, gently glaring back at Cassa before stepping out fully. Rose turns and walks to another door on her left and enters, a giant glass window revealed darkness.

"Nene, turn on the lights."

A young female voice sounded throughout the room speaking to Rose.

"Activating lights, mother."

Suddenly as multiple lights came on one after another. Hundreds to thousands of tubes with clones appeared. All show the process of the cloning and holding of the clones Rose created. With a counter of green color and text on a black screen showing her goal. It was two hundred twenty-four out of one thousand.

"Still a way to go. What a disappointment... I need to find another clone. Someone even stronger..."

"Mother, may I recommend a potential candidate?"

"Of course darling. Who is it?"

Sudden a panel from the ceiling opening and a robotic arm with a small square tv came down from it. Navigating over to Rose. Soon enough a video of a golden warrior from one of the clone's points of view came on the screen.

"This warrior was able to fight against two clones at once."

"It is interesting, but those clones weren't anything special dear."

"That isn't all mother. He was able to transform."

"Transform?"

"Yes, mother. His hair turned golden along with his aura. His red eyes turned green as well, here."

The video rewound going to the beginning of the fight. Showing the warrior had indeed transformed.

"Incredible, you did good my dear."

"Thank you, mother! I'm happy to be a part of your world domination plan."

"Nene, send a group of clones to scavenge the area for potential cloning pieces. Hair, blood, etcetera."

"As you wish, mother."

The robotic hand pulled back up into the ceiling and Rose's eyes gleamed with excitement as she smiled.

A few hours passed by and it was finally seven as both Okara and Rose arrived at their destination. They had traveled past Westfall city and a mountain forest area. Then traveled on a forest path and onto a deeper forest path that brought them to a tiny hut with a tiny lake that had a waterfall and bamboo. As Bell pulled up and turned off her truck an old man opened the door to the hut and came walking out slowly.

"Why hello there." The old man said as Bell stepped out of the truck. Then instantly.

"Oh my! Is that my lovely granddaughter?"

"Hey, grandpa! Long time no see!" Bell quickly rushed up to her grandfather and hugged him.

"Oh come on inside dear, let's catch up with some tea and-."

Quickly Okara jumps off the bed of the truck and onto the ground. Instantly Bell's grandfather changed into a glaring stare.

"Bell get behind me it seems we've got a freeloader."

"No, no grandpa. He isn't a freeloader."

"Then is he your husband?!"

Bell's face lit up red at her grandfather's remark.

"No! He's a friend."

"Hey, Bell. Why are we here? I thought you were taking me somewhere I could train."

"This is the place, Okara!"

"Then where's the guy who's gonna train me?"

Bell looks at her grandfather, her grandfather looking back at her.

"I know it's on short notice and it's getting late. But we need him to get stronger."

Bell's grandfather looks at her a little longer and sighs gently.

"Come here... Uh."

"Okara."

"Ah, Okara. Come here so I may look at your abilities."

Okara walks up to the old man and looks down at him.

"Okay, now what?"

"Just sit still will you." The old man commands as he walks around Okara looking at his body and muscles. However, he sees more than anyone with human eyes could see.

"Your current standing... Is stronger than a normal human. Tell me, what exactly are you doing on earth... Saiyan."
