You Outshine Every Woman

Amaia stared at her daughter for a few seconds but then she eventually nodded her head, stealing a quick glance behind Cassandra and averting her eyes on her. "Hm, okay, dear. If you say so." She said, then she went back to the kitchen.

She quickly went to the bed to get her phone the moment that she closed the door, then went to the vanity area to get new looks. "It had been a while since the last time I put makeup on this face," Cassandra said, then she grabbed all the cosmetic products she could grab.

After some time, it had been a few hours since she began to put samples on her face, yet she still hadn't come up with the final look. She looked at the time and it was almost three in the afternoon. Cassandra had decided to just stop with it and go to the bathroom to take a shower. It took her at least an hour to prepare and since she hadn't decided on what look she would go for, she just put on light makeup.

"I think this will do." She stood up in front of the body mirror to look at her final look. She was wearing the white flowy dress and the sandals that Greyson gave her.

At exactly four in the afternoon, Cassandra finally planned on going out of her room, but when she looked at her bedside table, she saw the flowers that Greyson gave her. It was the tulips in a flower vase and she wasn't sure why she even put them there when in fact, it shouldn't have a meaning to her.

She just shook her head before completely going out of their house, and there, she saw Greyson outside the gate with his Mercedes Benz limousine. He was wearing a white long sleeve polo and a nice pair of chino shorts.

"Greyson!" She exclaimed, "You're early." She had already seen him a lot of times, however, she still looked surprised whenever he was in front of her as if she had only met him once.

"Are you ready?" He asked her as he fixed the cufflinks on his long sleeve polo shirt, his smile is what caught Cassandra a little off guard as it had an attractive aura to it that just charmed anybody who would see it.

She then fixed her white dress and posed for a second. "Yeah, I'm ready. You know, with my current getup, I might be overdressed for the party you're taking me to compared to what you're wearing." She wasn't sure whether her attire would fit the party since Greyson only wore shorts.

He just smiled at her and laughed a little. He extended his hand to her and opened it. Inside his hand revealed a beautiful-looking corsage filled with mini roses that just made the corsage bloom and stand out.

The moment Cassandra realized what it was, her entire face suddenly became red, it seemed that she was feeling shy after she knew what he was trying to give her. "Umm… You do know that this isn't a prom, right?" She asked in a bashful manner, she still couldn't handle the pressure that he was giving off even though she had been with him so many times before that.

"Of course, I know, but for me, it's not only for prom, I think this is for taking someone on a part and I think that this is that moment." He told her with that radiating and charming smile of his as he finally put the corsage on Cassandra's white dress, making it that much more unique.

She didn't know how to react at the time, there were so many things on the top of her head but none of them came out, to which she just told him a simple thank you and nod.

Her reaction felt weird to Greyson, but he somehow understood her awkwardness. The moment he showed her the corsage, Cassandra was suddenly giving off an anxious feeling, he was able to sense to that degree which was why he didn't push any longer.

"So… Shall we? The party isn't coming to us, you know." He said with an enthusiastic voice as he gave way for Cassandra to get to the limo.

As the two of them were finally on the way to the party, inside the limo, were only the two of them while their driver was in the driver's seat, there was a soundproof window separating them from the driver as well.

Greyson knew that things between them didn't get off to a good start, he planned to fix their awkwardness before they get to the party, so, he didn't waste any time talking to her and trying to make her more comfortable.

"Are you nervous?" He asked her as he got closer and closer while making sure that it isn't that obvious.

That was when Cassandra picked up on what he was trying to do, which she admired and commended him for because she knew that he was trying to do good.

"A little, yeah? I don't know really, I mean come on, I don't even know any of the people who are going to be there, I don't know how I'm supposed to act when we get there aside from our routine basis, sorry, I'm just thinking a little too much right now." She told him frankly without a pause and she really sounded nervous.

He wasn't expecting all of that to come out of her mouth all at once, Cassandra was actually overthinking what might happen at the party if she did screw up.

Greyson smiled at her and smiled a little to break some of the ice a little. "Oh, is that all? I don't think that you should worry about any of those things, just act like how you're supposed to act, that's all there is to it really, you think you're going there to be judged by people you don't know?" He was quite supportive of her, he wanted her to have fun and not think about a single thing that could possibly go wrong.

As she was about to talk, Greyson then talked before her as he was not done with what he was saying earlier. "And I'm going to tell you this now so that you won't have to worry about it, I am very sure, like really really sure that you'll outshine every single woman there. With that dress? If you see someone looking at you in a bad way, they're either jealous of you and your dress or they're someone you pissed off in the past and have come to haunt you."
