All In One Picture

"Okay, okay… I brought you here because I want people to know you. Most of the people here are some of the most powerful people in the entire world, and I…" Before he could finish what he was saying, Cassandra suddenly turned her back around and started to walk away.

But before she could walk away, Greyson finally confessed. "Okay! Wait! You got me, okay, just don't go." He said with a panicky voice, he grabbed her left shoulder to get a hold of her and make sure that she wasn't going anywhere.

Cassandra turned around and faced him once again, she crossed her arms while looking at him with a poker face, the expression on her face was just blank as she waited for him to talk.

"Okay, I took you here because I wanted you to learn their etiquette when talking to other people, I wanted you to learn all this because you will need it in the future," Greyson told her in a much more serious tone of voice.

Her forehead creased when she heard his words and said, "What made you think that I need it? Do you really think that I can't handle myself enough?" Her eyes were fierce and she looked like she wasn't in the mood to take a joke.

"I want them to know that you are my fiancee." He straightforwardly told her which shocked Cassandra even more. Her heartbeat began to throb rapidly and she didn't know how to react to it. "I wasn't joking when I said that some of the people here are some of the most influential people in the world." He told her in a sincere tone of voice as he waited for a response.

After a couple of seconds of silence between the two, Cassandra suddenly smiled as she looked like she was back to her cheerful self. "Okay, I believe you, you could've just told me that earlier, you didn't have to hide it, right? Did you really think that I'd get offended by something like this?" She smiled at him and looked him in the eyes.

Greyson just nodded in regret as he could barely look her in the eyes.

"Well, I don't. I know what I know and what I don't know, and I'd be willing to learn whatever is it you want me to learn from this party if you are the one teaching me, so what are we waiting for? Show me around." Cassandra was hyped for the first time at the party as Greyson felt much more comfortable around her, he knew that he would be able to give her a few tips before they could leave the party.

Cassandra was slowly getting the hang of how she should act among those high social class individuals as the two of them spent the entire party chatting to various people. With each person they talked to that night, Cassandra's social etiquette improved. Her progress was outstanding; by the conclusion of the party, she had mastered everything Greyson had attempted to teach her when they first arrived.

"It's getting late, I think we should leave, I'm quite tired as well, this is one of my rare moments where I get exhausted from a party." He told her with a joking manner in mind.

She then agreed to it reluctantly as Cassandra was actually starting to have fun at the party after hours of boring talks with random strangers to practice her speech and the response she should say to them.

The two finally left the party, the sun had set a couple of hours ago, and as the limo arrived at Cassandra's house, the clock had just hit midnight. "Thanks for tonight, even though we had some of our differences, we still managed to squeeze some fun out of it," She told Greyson with a smile on her face.

"I'll see you soon, get some sleep." He said in an alluring voice as the two finally said goodbye to each other for the night.

The moment Cassandra got to her room, she immediately dropped to her door and just sat in front of it with her head on her dress. Her face looked reddish as she screamed into her dress to make as little noise as possible.

"I don't even know how most of that happened, but… Argh! It was like something out of a fairytale." She said in the air as she finally went inside her room and finally rested after the party.

A couple of hours later, Cassandra was woken up by the sunlight that was shining on her face, the hot rays of the sun caused her to wake up. "W-What? What's happening?" She was saying while still unconscious, it seemed that she was mumbling in her sleep as well.

When she finally realized that she was awake, she almost immediately checked her phone when she thought about it.

The moment she checked her phone, she saw a couple of text messages from Greyson.

"Let's see here… Hmm… Cassy, hopefully, you've had a good night's rest. I've got something planned for us a couple of days from now. I'm not going to tell you what it is yet, but it's going to be great, hopefully. See you soon. -Greyson." She read the text from him out loud.

When she was done reading, Cassandra just screamed into her pillow again, but she wasn't furious. Instead, she felt like she was having a romantic moment even though she knew fully well that her relationship with Greyson was fake.

As a couple of days passed by, Cassandra was having trouble focusing at work because of the text message that Greyson sent her the other day, she was thinking about what his surprise might be, and so, the next day later, her answer was finally answered.

While she was on her shift, Greyson suddenly came to her work and brought her a blazer to wear. "Come on, we're going. You don't have to worry about your boss, I already asked for your sudden leave, put this on so that you won't succumb to the heat." He told her with a sure attitude on his end, it seemed that he already planned things out before he even went there.

Cassandra didn't even bother to argue anymore, she just followed him and wore the blazer. "Heat? Where is he taking me? Hell?" She uttered in silence being too clueless as if she was talking to herself.
