Thinking About His Real Fiancée

Outside their house was a limo waiting for them. The moment they got inside, the route that the limo took served as a hint about where Greyson was taking her, on their way there, she started to think about the possible destinations they could go to.

But she didn't need to take long as the limo dropped them off at an amusement park nearby. "This is your big day?" She asked.

Greyson looked at her with a smile on his face and nodded his head yes. "Now, come on, we've got a long day ahead of us, those rides aren't going to ride themselves, you know." He told her with a huge smile on his face as he grabbed her by the hand and dragged her inside.

They immediately got to the first ride they saw which was a Jurassic Park-themed water ride where they could ride boats through a series of obstacles and pathways. By the time they were finished with the ride, the two of them were already soaking wet, but that surely didn't stop them or their day.

"We should've rode this last! Look, we're soaking wet, but that's fine, what's next?" Cassandra's facial expression changed really fast as she looked too excited.

Even Greyson was obvious that he was having so much fun with Cassandra since the smile he was giving off was different than the previous ones. They both looked like kids who had just seen a theme park for the first time.

Greyson noticed that she was actually having fun without a problem. "Hmm, I guess we could try the roller coasters? Unless you're scared, of course." He asked in a teasing manner as he tried to use reverse physiology on her.

"Of course not, let's go to the fastest and tallest roller coaster they have, let's see who the chicken is after the ride, huh." She told him with a smile on her face as she was the one who dragged him to the roller coaster ride.

As the day progressed, it was time for them to leave the amusement park. The limo was waiting for them outside, but they didn't head home first. "Let's watch an opera, there's one right down the street right now, you wanna go?" He asked Cassandra with a smile on his face, to which she replied with a nod.

The opera itself wasn't that bad, but it seemed that the two of them didn't enjoy it as much as other people did, and they were wondering to themselves why. It was Cassandra's first time watching an opera and she almost fell asleep, but she tried her best to stay awake so it wouldn't be a waste.

"So… Are we heading home?" Cassandra suddenly asked, but Greyson still had other plans.

"Nope, not yet at least, we have one more stop, then we'll head home, yeah?" He told her with a smile on his face as the two then went to the park.

The sun had already set and the night had set. The moment they got to the park, a picnic blanket, and a basket were waiting for them. "I made the food, so hopefully they're good, but hey, you're going to be my first customer, and the first critique, wow…" He told her with a dejected voice as he hadn't had any faith in Cassandra's tasting skills.

The two spent a couple of hours in the park, just talking about their experiences in life and some of the things they would like to do in the future.

Cassandra hadn't noticed it before but she was finally starting to notice it after she knew how much effort Greyson put into the day they had. "So, I guess he really did change, huh." She uttered to herself while laughing at his jokes.

He was thinking the same thing as her. "She's not like any of the women I've met in the past, they're nowhere near as perfect as her…" Greyson's thoughts were lingering in his mind that night.

He tried to think about Astrid, his real fiancee, but Cassandra was slowly taking it over. Now, he wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing.

Days had then passed after their day of fun and games, the morning was so full and bright for Cassandra as she woke up right before her alarm.

*Beep-Beep Beep-Beep*

Her alarm suddenly activated the moment the clock hit seven o'clock in the morning, she smiled at it while turning it off. "Ahh… Nothing gets better than waking up this early without any pain coming from my body, I wish it was like this every morning…" Cassandra said in the air as if she was talking to herself.

She was just scrolling down her phone to check any of the news that might've popped up while she was asleep, Cassandra was on social media for a couple of minutes until she noticed the time.

"Cassandra! Are you awake?! Breakfast is ready! You're going to be late to work if you don't get up now!" Cassandra's mother, Mrs. Harper was shouting from the downstairs kitchen as she was preparing breakfast for the family.

That was like a wakeup call for Cassandra as she folded her blanket, fixed her bed and immediately went to the bathroom to shower and finally get ready for work. She was rushing everything because she didn't want to be late and get scolded by her boss. Oh, the moment she was finished with her getup, she headed straight downstairs to the kitchen where her mother cooked breakfast.

As she was eating, Cassandra's phone suddenly vibrated.

*Bzzt Bzzt*

"Who would be texting me this early in the morning? I'm quite sure my friends would still be asleep at this time." Cassandra said out loud while she talked to herself.

When she checked her phone to see who messaged her, it surprised Cassandra when she saw Greyson's name on the top of the message sender. Her heart began to throb for no good reason, but she knew that just by reading Greyson's name, it made her feel worst.

Her phones just kept on receiving notifications and vibrating as Greyson kept sending her more messages.

"Cassandra, no phone on the table, etiquette, please. Have some respect for the people eating breakfast, if you want to use your phone, go outside." Mrs. Harper said in a serious voice as she stared at her daughter in the eyes.

She knew this as well, but she just couldn't help but read Greyson's messages whenever he sent her something. "Okay, mom. I'm sorry…" She told her mother as she got up from the table before she could even finish her breakfast and just went outside.
