Chapter 29: Mistake

The battle began with Tsuande and Kenta charged at one another.

Tsunade decided to not use any ninjutsu and took it as an opportunity to master her taijutsu. The two engaged in close quarter combat, with Tsuande overwhelming the boy due to her aiming at precise spots that cause the most injury and her larger level of experience from training with Tobirama.

The boy then jumped back and began using shurikenjutsu to keep Tsunade busy while he began performing hand signs to mold his chakra.

Tsunade was able to dodge each of the shuriken with relative ease, but just as she was about to turn back to the boy, she heard him shout something.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!!"

The fire ball seemed to surprise Tsunade, so she decided it was best to show some form of strength.

She stomped her foot onto the ground, which created a large boulder that she then kicked into the fireball, neutralizing it.

She then applied her chakra into her legs, however just as she was about to launch herself at the boy, Yoma appeared in front of her.

"Enough. Winner Tsunade." he announced which caused the class to convey emotions such as confusion, understanding, and anger.

The anger in this case came from Kenta who was infuriated at his match being interrupted when he didn't think he had lost.

"Why sensei? I clearly had the upper hand and I was even preparing another jutsu, so why did you decide to interfere?" Kenta asked with geniune confusion while glaring at Tsunade.

"If I hadn't stopped the match, you may have been severely injured and even needed to go to the hospital." Yoma said while Kenta's eyes widened.

Yoma then turned his attention to Tsunade as he spoke

"That was a dangerous attack you were building up Tsunade. Just the force you used to stomp on the ground earlier in the match could injure some Chunins, not to mention the power you were building up. Do not use a technique like that again. I permit the use of ninjutsu and genjutsu, but do not use that again." Yoma said while glaring at them both.

However a small smile then graced Yoma's face as he said "However you both did well under the circumstances. Kenta, it was very intelligent of you to use your shurikenjutsu to gain distance to your ninjutsu. And Tsunade, your blows were precise and accurate, and if you were in a real battle and able to deal killing blows, you would have won quickly. Both of you showed strength that could defeat genin and even battle against weaker chunnin. Go back to the sides while I repair the ring."

Kenta seemed to be relieved by that as he smiled, although he seemed to be still angry about the fact ,while Tsunade seemed guilty about the fact that she didn't limit her strength even further and almost injured one of her classmates.

"Don't let your mistakes overwhelm you, instead, learn from them and let them be a reminder for the future." Yoma told Tsunade as she was about to walk away, to which she nodded.

Most of the matches afterwards weren't very interesting, with Orochimaru defeating the Inoka, Sakumo defeating the Himichi Hyuga (You should have seen the stares he was sending Sakumo after the match), and Dan defeating Akari. The other winners were Shikai and Hiruko, while Shinku didn't fight.

Though Jiraiya did surprise her as he was able to use the chakra control that he learned the day before to stay still and not leave the ring while getting hit from Choma, before finally losing due to Yoma declaring his loss.

"That's the end of the spars for today, next week we will have the winners go against each other so be prepared. Also, tomorrow we will have your individual dietary plans that you should help you all build up muscle."

The group then reentered the building and began to work on the village's history, which was quite easy due to the relatively short time that the village had been formed. Although, that may have been only for Tsunade, since Jiraiya seemed to be struggling if you went off all of his whining.

The school day was relatively peaceful with Tsunade, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Sakumo about to go to the Senju Clan training grounds to continue their training.

However just as they made it to the training grounds, they were interrupted by a surprising individual.

"Fight me!!" Kenta yelled.
