Red: Three Stooges

I looked at my phone and scanned for anything on Aries but can't seem to find anything. It's like someone removed any trace of him on my mobile. Hell, even when I remembered he was my mate and all, most of my memories on him was quite clouded and was a pain when something remotely familiar comes into mind.

My thoughts on Aries was cut short when I felt a towering presence approach me from the side. I gave a sideway glance as I tuck my phone inside my paint's pocket.

"You're Lucian's friend, right?" The man asked as his gold eyes looked down on me with seems like a take on the friendly manner but his body exclaims authority at most.

"I can't really say we're friends since I'm only one of his subjects. But to answer your question, it's a yes." I responded as I looked at the others talking to the locals in the area about this lost human. "We're sort of on that level of acquaintanceship."

He gave a hearty belly laugh that make me jump off my feet. For someone who's within our age bracket, this guy's more mature than he seems.

"My apologies. He does give that sense of friendliness towards people he likes." The man spoke as he crosses his arms as we look at Lucian struggling a human over something as one of his friends tries to stop him from killing the poor man. "I would like to thank you as well for helping us."

I paused to look at him as I remembered Aries always apologizing on me.

"No." I replied as I closed my eyes and looked down. He looked at me surprised. "I'm glad I could help in someway."

We heard Lucian pacing toward our direction as he was yelling profanities like it was candies.

"Fucking humans!!! I know what a fucking Pipeline is!!" Lucian yelled as he kicked a light post making it bend towards the other side. "Dragunov what the hell are you doing?"

He glares at the man besides me as the man he was addressing to stared him down. I know Lucian's tall but he was shorter by a few inches that Dragunov that he had to look up. And by Lucian's standard that ain't good.

"Just getting familiar with the people your acquainted to." Dragunov replied. "And besides, you're not the only one worried about him. So calm down before your father ties a leash on you and drags you home."

With that Lucian swung a mean left hook at Dragunov but he merely caught his fist effortlessly with his right. Lucian scowled and tried to hit him by swing his right leg at his side.

I had barely enough time to dodge his kick but Dragunov caught it just as quickly with his other hand.

Lucian was releasing his rage as I could see his eyes turn between human and werewolf. Dragunov gave out a sigh.

"Rex is alright, Lucian." Dragunov spoke but Lucian continued to breath heavily. "You won't find if you're like this."

The mention of that Human's name seemed to calm Lucian down as he dropped his arm and leg in defeat. He clenched his teeth and was gripping his hand into fists. Trying hard to contain his rage withing himself.

I looked relieved at him calming down. It would be a total massacre if Lucian's anger wasn't put down under control. He could kill everyone on site.

"Now that everyone calmed down, we could assess the situation." Another guy approached us, the same one that Lucian was talking to awhile back as Dragunov looked at him expectantly.

"So what do the humans said?" Dragunov asked as Lucian who seemed to calmed down went to the nearby shed and sat down with a glare.

"Nothing out of the ordinary. There were no reports on missing persons on the police records for this state that fits Rex' description." The guy shrugged but his eyes shed of hopelessness. He seemed quite close with this human as well. "Ugh! This is quite frustrating! Why among all times this had to happen to him! They could have taken me instead, I'm more worth than him!"

The guy started to cry. It's odd seeing a man of his stature or rather seeing a full grown man crying his eyes out but here he is crying to his hearts content.

"Calm down, Geiss." Dragunov tried to settle the guy down but his eyes was also leaking tears.

I groaned at this depressing sight. It didn't helped that I was undergoing a depressing ride myself with my mate.

"Shut your traps, pussies!" Lucian yelled as he walked towards us. His nose perked up and was sniffing the air. "I know that scent anywhere!"

He started running pass us and we immediately followed suit. Dashing along the sidewalk leading to beach side pipe along the highway.

Lucian narrowed his eyes as he picks up a piece of clothing tinted in red. He brought the object closer to his nose and took a precautionary sniff and instantly he fists it within his hands with a threatening growl.

"They're going to die!" Lucian roared as Dragunov walked or rather strode pass us and towards Lucian.

"Is-is that Rex'?" He asked as Lucian reluctantly handed him the piece of clothing. I'm no tracker but that red tint sure smell like blood.

Dragunov caressed the piece of clothing with a pained expression painted on his eyes.

Geiss looked over the pipeline and took out his phone and tried to light the dark insides. "It's pitch black inside!" He spoke as Dragunov walked past us once more and entered the sewer pipe.

I shot Lucian a questioning brow and motioned us away from the pipe with a glare.

"Don't worry Dragunov can see clearly in the dark and his sense of smell is better in closed quarters." Geiss answered my silent question as I looked at the pipe from the outside.

I returned to my thoughts about my mate, Aries. And on the sudden lost of my memories about him.

It was rather odd that I would forget about him all of a sudden or the affection I had for him. I gripped my chest at the thought.

I know I'm straight but fuck me that I just admitted I liked a guy. I would never say it out loud. I'll take it to my grave if I had too.

But he was my mate. I seem to remember his pained expression but I can't seem to pinpoint when exactly. It was so cloudy trying to piece things up together.

Was I at fault? Did I do something why we're not together? Was I in a serious accident and got hit in the head and now I got amnesia or some shit?

I gritted my teeth at my internal turmoil. I can't seem to remember even how hard I try.

Then suddenly my phone rang and that broke my internal monologue. Another time o think about it.

I swipe the screen open and found out that Frank was calling me. This was odd, I thought he was mad at me for some reason.

I pressed the answer button and place the phone to my ear.

"Yeah. What is it?" I asked coldly.

There was a long pause before my Beta decides to speak.

"Ok. Ok. You know if I were to decide I wasn't going to call you." He responded that made me growl. I heard him hitch a breath which made me smirk. "Er... Umm..."

"I don't have all day. So start talking and spill. Damn it!" I growled. "And before you forget your place, Frank. I'm still an Alpha. You understand?!"

"Yes." He murmured.

"What is it? I didn't heard you."

"Y-Yes Alpha." He replied with a little more respect and that made me smirk.

"That's right. So why did you call me?" I asked as I looked at Dragunov exiting the sewer pipe with something clasped against his right hand.

"It's something about the human that the Prince is looking for. I think Ar..." He started but a familiar scent catches my nose and it was so familiar that my feet seem to move on its own towards Lucian.

"Talk later."

"But Black.." I cut the call off and pushed pass Geiss and Dragunov and all three of them shot me a questioning brow.

"What's your problem dude?" Geiss asked as I snatched the a piece of black clothe.

"Lucian, is he alright." Dragunov asked as I took a whiff on the torn fabric.

"Don't ask me. I'm sure he was crazy before we met." He smirked. I would like to punch him in his royal balls but I had other things more important at the moment.

"Where did you find this?" I demanded and Geiss gasped. Lucian just sneered as Dragunov approached me.

"Excuse me." Dragunov frowned. "Did you just blatantly disrespected me?"

I glared back at him as smoke started to fume out his nostrils. Was that suppose to intimidate me?

"I asked you a question?" I growled as he grabbed my shirt. "I'm not your lackey. So I don't answer to you."

His eyes was glowing bright as scorching hot flames was seeing through his clenched teeth.

Geiss looked back at Lucian and the fucktard just stood there looking quite amuse.

"I'm Dragunov, Prince of Dragons, it's in your best interest that you show me respect!" He roared but it didn't even phased me one bit.

"Just cool down big guy..." I heard Geiss sooth Dragunov from a distance. "I think you just misheard him."

"Oh, I think he heard me right." I smirked and instantly Dragunov opened his mouth and crimson red flames came streaming down my face.

"Lu-Lucian!" Geiss called.

"Don't pull your panties in a knot, fish breath." Lucian sighed as Geiss looked at our direction. "I think Dragunov will have to duck this one."

"What are you -" Dragunov asked as he glared down at Lucian who was smirking. That fucktard. "What the -?!"

"Pretty nice flame." I shot back as Dragunov looked at me with surprised etched in his face. "But not nice enough..."

"How... What are you?!" His hand shook as I took off my shirt as half of it was burnt. The piece of clothing still safely clasped inside my fist.

"It's my turn." My eyes glowed blood red and out stretched my left hand towards Dragunov whose eyes reflected my face.

It was as if frozen by fear, the tall guy remained still as my fingers where about to hit his neck when Lucian decides to ruin the fun.

"Stand down, Blake!" Lucian roared making me stop a tiny portion of my claws touching Dragunov's skin.

I huffed and withdrew my hand away from him. Dragunov started relaxing as I glared at Lucian.

"So Dragunov, where did you find the piece of trash?" Lucian eloquently put it.

It took Dragunov to collect himself and when he does he looked at me before returning back to Lucian.

"About halfway between the junctions of the sewers. It had Rex' scent along with another so I brought it out." He explained and Lucian glared at me.

"Spill it." He growled.

"Fuck you." I retorted but he just sneered. Geiss has the look of shock painted on his face. "But if you must know it has my mate's scent on it. Faint but I'm sure it's him."

"Cool so we ask your mate then." Geiss sighed in relief as well as Dragunov but his head snapped right back at me. "Woah! Dude, your mate is a guy?"

Lucian smirked but walked over to us and patted my shoulder. I glared at him as he looked at the others.

"Is there a problem with that?!" I growled. I could feel my rage building.

"No. No. It's not like that." He waves his hand. "It's just you don't look like a guy who's into dudes."

"I'm not." I growled.

"Heh." Geiss raised a brow.

"Alright stop this nonsense." Lucian rolled his eyes and looked at me. "If that's settled. Can we get a move on?"

"To where?" I can't but ask and he just shot me an annoyed look.

"To your mate's pack, genius."

"That would be a problem." I replied, making them stop walking to the cars.

"What do you mean that's a problem?" Lucian asked. "If you're afraid I'll rat on you about sleeping with some random bitch then I won't tell. So stop stalling and move those damn legs!"

"I'm not afraid of anything, Lucian! And fucking know that. It's just.." He looked at me with a raised brow. "It's just, I forgot where his pack is."

I can't tell if Lucian is angry or annoyed but I'm sure in hell he is not happy.

"You. Don't know. Your mate's pack." He states and I nodded. He clenched his fists and closed his eyes. "Are you playing with me Blake. Because if you are, this isn't funny!"

"I swear, Lucian." I reasoned as I stood my ground. "You know I never lie to you if things are this serious."

He glared at me with eyes planting daggers as I glared back. Dragunov and Geiss stood in the side awaiting our staring contest when Lucian sighed and relaxed.

"Alright." He started and looked at the crashing waves. "Anyone know the whereabout your mate? Your father perhaps."

"He doesn't know." I quickly replied. Making them look at me with suspicion.

"Your father doesn't know?" Geiss asked. "Then..."

"He doesn't. Ok!" I retorted defensively. "I'm not sure if he'll take it well. How the pack will see me after that."

"After what?"

"After knowing their Alpha has a male for a mate." I reasoned, darting away from their knowing eyes. "I'm not going to be eyed by the world by being.."

"Gay." Lucian growled. I looked at him with a pained expression but he kept his eyes drilling at me. "So, what I don't care."

"Huh?" I muttered confused. "What do you me-"

"I mean I don't care if you become some homo or whatamacallit! I'm your friend and I don't care if you started taking a dick up your ass!" He growled making me scowl.

"Way to cheer me up fucktard!" I glared at him but it made me calm for a bit. "And I'm not be the one taking it up the ass if that's what your implying. "

"Well, he's the one to speak." Geiss smirked.

"The hell are you yapping, fish breath?!"

"I'm mean you're in denial yourself. Mister Bad Ass Straight Lucian." He replied with a smirk.

"Stop yapping shit. Or I'll kill you myself!"

"I admit I'm bi, Lucian. So, I have an excuse liking Rex." Geiss started grinning as Lucian started prowling towards his direction. "So what's yours?"

"Why you son if a bitch!" With that Lucian started to chase Geiss over the beach.

Dragunov approached me once more with an apologetic look on his face. He was fiddling with his fingers when he decided to talk to me.

"Back there." He started as I looked up at him. "I would like to apologize on how I acted."

"No problem." I brushed him off. "I kinda got carried away about finding out that my mate was here as well."

"I guess you're right. I too get easily angered when it comes to things concerning Rex." He replied as we looked at the two hooligans doing a scene. "It's just I didn't do well with others and back then was one of my pet peeves."

I shrugged and hum my agreement when I finally understand the situation and looked at Lucian then at Geiss then back at Dragunov.

"Don't tell me you all like the same guy?"
