"If given a chance, who would you rather, Daniel or me?" Owen asked. 

"Now that's a tough one." Chugging down the leftover champagne directly from the bottle, she said, "I need some time to think."

Her Double Trouble

“It’s too hot here.” Emma grabbed the bottle from his hand. 


“You want me to roll down the window?” 


She shook her head and looked away. Daniel smiled as he continued driving. 


Noticing the grin on his face, she frowned. "Seems like you are having a good time." 


He shrugged in response. "I am always having a good time around you." 


His flirtatious yet cute response made her blush. She pursed her lips to control her smile and turned towards the window in an attempt to hide it. 


Daniel wanted to tease her more, but he decided not to. Though he loved the way her face turned red when he teased her, he didn't want to make her feel too flustered. 


They hadn't even started living together, but he knew he would love it. Her mere presence made him feel happy. 


He saw her for a few hours in the office which was enough to lighten his mood. He could imagine how nice it would feel to have her near him all the time.
