I pressed my palms against his chest and curled my fingers into him. He was rock hard all over,

I came down the stairs with a frown on my face and a hand on the underside of my stomach. It hurt. Kind of like period cramps, but obviously I wasn't about to start that.


The moment I stepped onto the first floor, something released and fluid spilled from me.


I froze and looked down at the surrounding puddle.


My lower stomach cramped and clenched again, harder this time.


All at once vampires blurred up to me, but the first was Lance.


Before I could react, he lifted me in his golden arms and blurred down to the basement.


He sat me gently on the hospital bed and blurred away before I could thank him.


I blinked after him with a frown but couldn't linger on the thought as Dr. Val blurred into the room.


I didn't get to react to her before Cohen blinked to my side and took my hand in his as he stared at my stomach with wide, panicked eyes.
