Blueberry Pie Cookie X (Student) Reader: Study Time

Thousands and thousands of books, with thousands of years worth of knowledge of the magic of all kinds. Evil magic, good magic, water magic, fire magic, ghost magic, wizard magic, witch magic, the list is literally endless, and these are the types of books you have to read and learn. Which is nothing new since you've been doing this for years. And with the help of your adoptive mother and teacher "Blueberry Pie Cookie", you're more than sure you can master all these many types of magic.

While mother was organizing some books, as usual, you're reading the history of water magic. Where it originated, who became the first master of water magic, and the hundreds of years worth of war. You've still never been a fan of reading the history of magic, but mother still makes you read it through and quizzes you before she can allow you to read the water magic spells and such.

You take notes before all of a sudden you begin to feel sleepy. Maybe a small nap wouldn't hurt. You rest your head on the open book and begin to fall asleep. But just as you close your eyes, mother taps on the desk causing you to wake up and quickly sit back up.

.

Mother: Have you finished reading pages 555 to 673?

.

A little stern, but you can easily tell that she cares rather or not you've been studying.

.

Y/n: Yes, mother.

Mother: What was the third war called and who was fighting?

Y/n: The War of the Sirens and Land Cookies. General Robert Willard the third and his army had to learn water magic in order to fight against the sirens.

Mother: Good, I'll leave you to rest for a little while before you read the rest of the book.

Y/n: Yes mother.

Mother: I still see you are not a history bluff.

Y/n: Yeah... I'm sorry mother. I understand the importance of water magic's history and those involved. But I feel like I could benefit more from reading the spell books and not the history books.

Mother: All tomes and books have their own worth, my child. Our understanding of history allows us to analyze and explain past problems and allows us to recognize patterns that are invisible to us today. It is important to keep an open mind, not just about the magic we study and master, but also the history that comes with it.

Y/n: That makes a lot of sense. I guess I just need to find a way to stay awake during my hours of study.

Mother: It takes time to get used to that. You've already mastered fifteen kinds of magic. I believe you can definitely learn water magic. (Smiles) So reading its history will be the easiest thing you'll have to do for water magic.

Y/n: (Smile) Thanks mother.

.

Smiling, she ruffles your hair before leaving you be. Having a better understanding and having a good moment with your mother, you're now fully awake and ready to continue studying the history of water magic.
