BEGINNING - 6

Meanwhile, Jack and other hunters watched them on a large screen in a building, some of those who watched the video clenched their fists, followed by the sound of grinding their teeth.

He's doing it again, only Michael who had seen this scene.

Fuck fuck fuck, they'll done for sure.

Imma kill him for sure in the last day. Said several hunters in their hearts who watched the broadcast.

They want to go to the battlefield to help their fellow hunters, but this can't be done because they violate the rules that have been made.

Jack got up from his chair and walked out of the room towards the back of the facility to light his cigarette followed by someone walking behind him, Jack offered him a cigarette and the man took one.

"Still can't get rid of those things?" the man asked Jack as he lit his cigarette.

"Yeah."

"Just let it go Jack, he's in a better place now," said the man so that Jack could let it go. "Is she-" he continued as Jack cuss.

"How did you recognize her? We are all wearing masks," asked John who was surprised at him because how could he know about her when they all wore masks.

"Her eyes is the same as him, no wonder you put an amateur in your team.

"She's not an amateur, I've been trained her for the last five years," said Jack defending her. "She's capable of taking down someone like you and me."

"Rest assured Jack, im gonna head in now," he said while stubbed out the cigarette. "And don't worry, I'll protect her like your brother did to me."

Jack took out the necklace that hung around his neck from the shirt he was wearing, on the necklace was the name of the person they were talking about earlier.

He gripped the necklace tightly as he stared blankly at the light shining brightly in the distance. "Am I capable of taking revenge on your name?" said Jack in his heart.

An object flying in the night sky is monitoring John's movement, this object has a thermal vision feature so that it can provide more detail about its position.

John stood back up while firing his gun at the hunters who were trying to save his comrades, they were slowly repelled by him alone.

But a bullet had hit his thigh the moment he was running earlier, it made him unable to move freely due to the pain.

John took the duct tape he always carried and bandaged it several times to stop the bleeding, while injecting himself with morphine.

Not wanting to waste too much ammo, John changed his weapon from a long barrel to a pistol, he shot them non-stop because he still had a lot of gun ammunition after robbing other hunters.

The hunters who chased him managed to get out of the thicket of trees and call the medical team to bring the injured, of the sixteen hunters there are now only five people who are still able to fight.

"Call MMV, and don't chase him for now," said Michael who didn't want to go back into the garden. "Let's wait for sunrise."

The motorcade came out of the facility where Jack was and moved towards the location of the hunters who requested it.

Michael and the others walked away about five hundred meters from where the battle took place, for fear that John would make a surprise attack in the midst of many wounded people.

The battle between them was quite short, only lasted a few hours.

John who saw them retreat from battlefield, slightly relieved that he didn't have to kill anyone, he re-sheathed his sword and gun in their place.

He walked limping with his face covered with dirt, towards the hut where Jane was sleeping.

John took Jane's hand and shook her gently. "Hey Jane, wake up," John told her.

"What is it?" said Jane, rubbing her own eyes.

"We need to move, they're already here."

"Can we rest little longer? Im so sleepy right now."

"We have to move now!"

"Okay, okay."

Jane folded her sleeping bag and handed it back to him, as John rose from his seat to guide the way ahead.

"It's really dark in here," said Jane looking around.

They kept walking until they finally came out of the plantation and found a path that led to a hill far ahead, they walked until they didn't feel the sun was rising.

Seen a river with a swift current in front of them.

"Can you swim?" John asked her.

"I can't."

Hufft. John sighed.

"What can you do, princess?" John taunted her.

Jane didn't answer, her face turned bright red.

John took out a rubber the size of a tennis ball and blew it in, then took off all his combat gear and told Jane to take off the bulletproof vest he was wearing to replace it with the life jacket.

He again told Jane to take off her clothes, but Jane didn't want to because it was very embarrassing, with a little coercion Jane finally wanted to do it which made her only wear underwear.

John took out a dagger and rope, he walked over to the nearest tree and tied the rope as he entered the water first. "Wait a moment," John ordered him.

Jane complied and waited for him on the outskirts.

John swam across and tied the rope he had brought with him to a tree, which made the rope stretch over the river.

John swam back and forth to cross Jane and the equipment she was carrying.

After he was done with it, John walked towards Jane with a bit of a limp but suddenly his stout body collapsed in front of her.

"Hey John, John, hey!" Jane called to him in a panic because he was unconscious.

Jane dragged him to the bushes not far from where she was, and took his equipment.

She turned John over and put his head on her lap, she looked at his unconscious body and found that he had a fresh wound on his leg.

Jane, who was more curious about John's face, tried to take off the mask he was wearing.

"Uh… susah banget lepasinnya, (Ugh… it's really hard to take it off,)" said Jane, pulling the mask off.

The base frame of the mask is made of tungsten, while the center has a screen that connects to cameras located at three different places on the mask.

There are other features possessed by the mask, such as an air filter, thermal vision, radio communication, and voice activation to open it.

The only way to unmask it is to use his own voice or use cutting tools like hacksaws and grinders.
