"Breaking New! Last night at Harvard University, Crystal Harris's car exploded after she arrived at her dorm lot. Police are investigating if this was a threat toward her or did the car ignite from a gas leak. Authorities are prohibited from her father and her uncle Mr. Mill that she will not be questioned. Even her husband Zach Harris refuses to allow anyone to question her. At this time, reports came in that she is in trauma from whatever may have caused this unfortunate accident. In other good news, nobody was harmed during last night's explosion. Also, the College is closed until further notice by Mr. Collin..."
Mr. Collin turned off the tv. My knees gave out and I fell to the couch. Mrs. Collin hugged me as I held my palms on my face. I couldn't believe Kai lost his mind and attacked my friend. Since Friday, I haven't seen him the whole weekend, nor on Monday.
I looked up at him, standing behind the other couch by his dad.
"How could you do this?" I nearly yelled.
Kai growled, "I'm making sure she stays away from you!"
"I haven't gone near them!" I shouted from the seat.
"You've been going near them more than enough from my viewpoint!" Kai snarled, coldly.
"You're a lunatic!" I say and Kai hissed at me for it.
Mr. Collin butted in and reprimanded him. "Victoria is right! You're out of line! Do you have any idea what you've done?"
"I don't care what I did!" Kai shouts. "You should be glad I didn't kill her!"
"You're supposed to be keeping Victoria in a stress-free environment!" Mr. Collin growled his fangs. "This isn't good for her when she's pregnant!"
"I did this to protect her and our offspring!" Kai hissed, gnashing.
"You're being preposterous!" Mr. Collin yelled.
At this point, I couldn't even be in the same room or roof as him anymore. I got up and started to depart Mr. Collin's office.
"Where do you think you are going?" Kai questioned me when I cracked the door open.
"I'm leaving!" I snapped. "I want nothing to do with you!"
Kai's eyes were hurt like I had gutted his heart out from his chest. But I looked past it and walked out. I went to my car and pulled out to get away from him. At first, I only drove around until I decided to head to the museum.
I parked in the back and used my ID pass to get in. From there, I went to the research lab and pulled out those old hieroglyphs I took back in Egypt. Now that I knew more information. I finally filled in those missing and chipped pieces.
Where it mentioned transforming her into her true form on the brightest blue…
Now I know the missing word was 'moon.' Then when it talked about her being his gifted queen and together as mates they will live an Imm...
That is where the hieroglyph was too chipped to read. But now I knew that the missing word was immortal. Piecing it together, now I understood what the hieroglyphs said.
In a new updated translation, I read. [Kai will transform me into my true self on the brightest blue moon. I will be Kai's gifted Queen and together as mates, we will live an immortal life together.]
Reading it now I pieced the real hidden message together. Kai had those Egyptians write this for me to find him and understand who I was to be. He wrote me so many heartbreaking messages to the point I felt for that pharaoh.
Only at that time, I didn't know he was talking about me. Deep inside, I knew all along nothing added up when I read his messages. Who would've thought that Kai was the Pharaoh and I am the girl he dreamt about?
Although it's ironic how he missed where they placed a hidden message, calling him an imposter.
I shut down the computers and dwelled on everything. I sat there and held my belly. Given this fact, I realize I have to forgive Kai and make this work. Not for him, but for my baby.
My heart may pine for Orlando, but I love my baby far more. When it comes down to it. I can't leave this immortal child to live without me.
I dried one tear away and on that thought. I got up and shut the lights off. Then I leave and go outside to proceed home. To my misfortune, once I neared my car, I found I had a flat front tire. I scrutinized it closer and saw the driver's side tire had been stabbed with a knife.
A bad feeling twisted in my gut. And it didn't help when I heard a perverted whistling. Eight guys came to me and I could tell they weren't here to help.
"Looks like you have a flat tire," one of the guys taunts like I didn't already know.
"Yeah, I saw that," I said and cycled to avoid them.
"We could help, you know," another man offered to hide his true intentions.
"I'm fine, I'm going to head back in," I said going around them. Till one man snatched my wrist. "Let go!"
"Shhhh!" He hushed me and covered my mouth. I fought but it did no good. They chuckled and dragged me away to this dark area at the museum. The man pushed me into the cold stone building.
"If you cooperate we'll be quick," he said once he released my mouth and started unbuckling his pants.
"I think you're making a huge mistake," I reasoned and prayed that what Rose said was right. Kai is always here even if I don't see him.
'Please Kai, leap in and save me.' I say inwardly.
"Shut up! Unless you're moaning we don't wanna hear you speak," the man smashed me into the stone and my woman's trench coat was untied and pulled apart. More aggressively, he tugged my shirt to rip it.
Just when I looked up, I saw this shadow sweeping in like a dark knight.
As the man's lips were coming in to slush me with a gross kiss. He was yanked away when Kai's terrifying demonic complexion showed. He was far from a Knight in shiny armor but I'll take him!
"Close your eyes, Victoria!" He growled before he pierced his fangs into the man's throat. I squeezed my eyes tightly. The man screamed!
"Aaaaa!" Other cries were carried out during their scuffle.
This one man's heels were dragged over the gravel on the pavement. "No! No! Aaa!" He gagged to death when he got hoisted. "A-h!"
