Despair

Derrick was still doing his best killing more orcs, but there was only a few things a single human can do, he wasn't strong enough yet to face an army by himself, his speed has dropped significantly and the continuous usage of spells has started putting a strain in his mentality, he could only manage low level spells now.

Meanwhile Mr and Mrs Dark looked at their son with a little worry and a little shock in their eyes.

"Dear is Derrick a warrior mage, because his understanding of the sword I can say it has reached the second stage" Baron Dark asked a little concerned, because his son was already an abnormally, using different types of attributes, if he was a warrior mage, the eyes on him would be too much.

"I don't think so the aura of a warrior is it coming from him, the only thing I can feel from him is an astronomical manner" Miranda said a little helpless to the situation, they were already on the brink, all the monsters were now facing Derrick they can only assist by killing the ones they could, Phill was already in a state he could only swing his sword with great effort, his eyes look vague like he was only moving by instincts, this battle was a big loss to them but they expected it but it was too much to accept.

"You do know a warrior's aura only manifest at the fourth stage, anyways let's try and help our son we might survive this ordeal" Baron Dark sighed, he felt so helpless, they have to try and depend on their son, his wife's mana has already depleted to the reserves, and manifesting his sword aura and using his sword skills were getting harder for him, but doing nothing wasn't his way, forgetting that he had killed the most orcs in the battlefield.

The battle was getting harder and harder on Derrick, but he knew it was only a matter of time before he would fall, the battle has gone on for a day and two nights, it was unlikely that help was going to arrive any time soon.

Derrick was still hopeful, at least he could still protect himself and his parents doesn't look like they would fall any moment from now, his body was in a bloody mess, he has a broken arm and he was filled with blood, he was panting really hard and could literally only dodge, he could die any moment from now.

When it looked like things couldn't get any worse, Derrick felt a very sinister mana about five of them coming towards them in the battlefield and three coming straight to him.

Three huge orcs, larger than the rest of the orcs came from the sky like they jumped right into the battle field.

'Boom Boom'

Dust field everywhere the orcs were all radiating mana, which was abnormal, if not for the lingering fear Derrick felt right now from the orcs, he would have noticed that one of these orcs attacked him and Rosetta a few years back, but it has grown stronger than before and there were actually five of them now.

These orcs held weapons, which the rest of the orcs didn't have, one had a battle axe, two had a worn out huge sword, and the remaining two a huge looking mace.

Three of the orcs general landed in front of Derrick and the remaining two landed in front of his parents.

"Kaaaaaa" one of the orcs general made a war cry swinging it's huge sword at Derrick who dodged it, by twisting his whole body missing him by only a meter.

"Boom"

The sword hit the ground hard dust flying everywhere, creating a crater on the ground

Another one used a mace from behind Derrick and swinged it forcefully, due to Derrick skill mana detection, Derrick noticed on time.

"Whoosh whoosh"

Derrick jumped upward into the air dodging the incoming mace, in the air the third orc swing a punch towards Derrick, 'woosh' who had no way to dodge the punch due to the speed, he could only use both his hands to protect himself.

"Booom"

The punch connect 'crack' sending Derrick backwards like a lose kite, sending him over 100 meters backwards.

'boom' Derrick crash into the floor crating a long crater with the distance made.

"Derrickkkkkkkk" Miranda screamed with tears in her eyes, 'pahhhhh' eventually receiving a slap from one of the orcs sending her flying to the other side.

Derrick whole body was bleeding, both bones in his arms were broken, breaking his ribs in the process, he was bleeding profusely, vomiting blood, he heard his mother's scream and vaguely saw her being sent flying by a slap, he didn't have the strength to raise his eyes, he could only scream vaguely

"Motherrr"
