Awakening

Baron Dark saw his wife being swatted away like a fly, rage welled up in him, he took his sword laced it with sword aura and immediately striked the orc general who slapped his wife, with eyes burning with rage, the sword with difficulty cut off the hand of the orc, but something strange happened, the orc hand that was cut off immediately regenerated, "mutated orcs" Baron Dark said a bit shocked, due to his shock he couldn't react quick enough when the regenerated hand punched him "boom" sending him flying.

The orcs generals were sneering, this battle was even over before it begun, only one of them could have done the job, their fearful king who doesn't want any loopholes sent all of them, to them it was humiliating to deal with these insects with all of the generals.

Breathing heavily, Derrick eyelids were drooping, he couldn't understand what went wrong, he wasn't strong enough, but he couldn't stop here, all his body hurts to even raise any part of his body felt like he was being crushed by large stones, the pain was extremely severe.

He saw what happened to both his mother and father 'where we going to die here? I couldn't still change anything, am I going to repeat another tragedy?'

Derrick was frustrated he couldn't agree to this, no he will never agree to this

"Mother"

"Father"

"Motherrrrr"

Dhumb Dhumb Dhumb

Derrick's heart raced beating faster and faster

"Do you seek power?"

With hazy eyes, Derrick heard a voice in his head asking him a question, the answer was obvious his whole family was going to be annihilated, and he needed power.

"Yes I seek it"

Derrick said before falling to the ground losing consciousness.

"Ahahaha ahahaha"

The moment Derrick lost consciousness a sinister aura that was so thick, that even the strongest warriors and mages would shake in their boots manifested.

"Father, we are only a day's walk left to the Dark territory, why are we resting instead of marching forward" Rosetta looked at her father in the tent that they were resting, they just had their meal and Rosetta felt like it was time to continue the marching towards Baron Dark territory, she had never felt this impatient before, but she had a bad feeling about what was happening there and wanted to get there as soon as possible.

Earl Holman was already fed up with Rosetta constant nagging, he doesn't feel there was any need to answer her, and could only nod his head, when she start asking her barrage of questions that he was already tired of answering.

Meanwhile back in the Dark's territory, in the outskirts of the dark forest, there was a very sinister and dark mana enveloping Derrick's body, the fluctuation of mana, which created a gust of wind, covered the vision of people that were watching, the orcs generals couldn't understand what was going on, the insect that they just squashed is the one producing this kind of terrible mana.

After the gust of wind disappeared what was seen was a demon, it didn't look like one but the horns on it's head couldn't be ignored.

It had glowing long silver hair, a well chiselled face, it was so white, with it's white clothes, it looked really handsome like a human, the only thing that made him look different was it's black horns and it's sinister aura.

"Ahhhh it's been centuries that have been awaken" the demon said stretching itself, the whole battlefield was at a stand still, they could only watch nobody dared to move or could even move at this point.

Baron Stan was able to still look at the demon even in his weakened state, his eyes was filled with disbelief "Demon King Zazel" he whispered, 'but this is impossible' he thought to himself, the searing pain in his body told him, he wasn't hallucinating, but he couldn't believe it.

"Oh before I forget I only have three minutes of manifestation, I should get rid off these bugs, my glorious return is to take care of trash" the demon said looking bored, the orcs generals snapped out of their trance and held their weapons closely they all sorrounded the demon with their fighting spirit soaring the remaining orcs all gathered too, leaving the humans that were already, incapacitated or severely injured, they gathered behind their generals ready to eliminate this threat before them.
