Ash is your typical high schooler who gets to class just as the bell rings, who spends his time earnestly learning…just between quick naps, and will do everything to defend those he loves. He shares his time with Lulu, Ash's mysterious childhood friend, who is nothing short of the word beautiful, personified with her snow-white hair and emerald green eyes. Her only oddity...no one seems to look at her but Ash.

Suddenly, their life of peace gets uprooted. A girl with heterochromia eyes abruptly teleports them into another world--one where the fantasy books Lulu loves to read are now her and Ash's reality. 

They have to decide: Is their blooming relationship towards each other and this new world worth clinging on to if it means leaving behind everything? Or will they go back to how things were in their dull reality where Lulu is an oddity once more?

I sat up from Lulu's lap to Lulu talking with the nun girl. I quickly glanced around, trying to get my bearings straight. I knew I was asleep for quite a bit as the two wounded adventurers were stable now, and Ray was nowhere to be seen. 


"Well, look who decided to wake up!" Lulu grumbled like a nagging mother. "Nice of you to go and pass out on my lap there without any warning, Ash! My poor legs are numb."


I couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous Lulu sounded all upset, and it wasn't long until she broke down and laughed with me. I got myself to stop and asked what had happened after I passed out.


Chapter 10: The Dead Boss?
