Unfolding the truth.

The night became colder upstair as Bryan held onto his love. It had been a long journey coming back home. Mae had stopped sobbing but her eyes were swore, red, anyone could tell she was not ok.

"Babe. Do you want to star gaze with me.?" Bryan suddenly asked as he stood up from the couch holding her hands.

"Lets go up on the roof." He said pulling her up.

She walked like a sick mama leaning on his side as he led her up. The cold night breeze swept against their face sending shivers down their spine. The night was clear as stars twinkled brilliantly high.

"Babe, do you see the night? Its dark is it?" Bryan asked Mae as she smiled shaking her head.

"No, it's a bright night." She replied silently as she leaned on his shoulder as they sat on the roof.

"There is a large number of stars in the sky." Bryan said out of mind as he stared up. "The sky always amazes me... It seems to be limitless without any boundaries." He stroked her head as he wrapped his arm round her waist, from the ground anyone could see the couple on the roof, soo romantic.

"You have a strange resemblance to this sky." Mae looked at him now, waiting for him to finish his statement. She smiled slightly for the first time.

"You amaze me like this beautiful sky, and my feelings for you have no limitations. I am simply unable to put limits or boundaries to my love for you." Bryan said as he felt his love being genuine for her.

"It keeps increasing every day." Mae heard the last sentence from a whisper.

"I love you so much." She replied back.

"Hey! Look! A shooting star!" Bryan tapped her to gaze at the sky. But it had long disappeared just as it had appeared.

"Where babe?" Mae smiled as she asked a second late.

"It just disappeared." Bryan said with a smile, "My Grandfather used to tell me, that I can make a wish to a shooting star, and it shall be granted."

"Is it true?" Mae asked as she searched for a shooting star.

"Yeah, its true." Bryan replied. "One night I sat here alone and I wished for a day when I shall have my true love with me... And here I am, with you."

Bryan flattered his girl as he looked in her eyes.

"You soo beautiful, and you the sweetest creature in my life."

"Wait! I'm a creature?" Mae asked.

"What does a creature mean to you babe.?" Bryan asked as he thought he had put the wrong name in the right phrase.

"You are also a creature." Mae laughed softly as she stared back at the sky.

"Hehe"

"My mother's spirit is somewhere in the sky, looking over us." Mae said as tears accumulated again.

"Babe please, get over it." Bryan wanted to avoid this side of her.

"When I lost my parents, I felt the same way." He said softly.

"Is ok." Mae wiped her tears away a she studied a pattern.

"That's the capricorn." She said, "You see the dots connecting."

"Look over there!" She began to be jovial.

A shooting star suddenly appeared and Mae quickly made her wish.

"I wish for everlasting love." She almost screamed.

"Babe you got me, why did you say everlasting love, you know I will always love you." Bryan was obviously teasing her but she took it serious.

"There is a girl who wants to spoil our love. I wished for eternal love since no one can come in between." Mae said as her hand rested on his lap.

He could feel her hand was near, too near to his willy.

"Thanks babe. I will always love you."

"I promise to stick to you."

If he could describe his situation, he did say everything about him, and what he says was all for Mae. He was stuck to her.

"Babe do you know this phrase?" Mae suddenly asked.

"What?" Bryan was not ready to identify spoken word or poetry at the moment.

"Under the sunshine in the cave." She asked. Ever since he lost memory, after his sick illusions, she had always wondered where this cave he mentioned was.

"I don't know babe." He replied disappointing her. His memory had not yet unlocked.

"Where did you read that say?" He asked.

"No it's not a say. It was a line left behind by a lover after an accident. Do you want to listen to the story?" She asked. She wanted to narrate the story of how they met, and how much pain she had gone through, especially after his illness.

"I do want to listen, we have the whole night for ourself." Bryan said as he wrapped his jacket over her.

"Im listening honey."

Mae went along to narrate, starting from the point where they met on an online dating platform to where the note was written.

"Why you crying again now babe?" Bryan wiped off her tear. "You have to be strong love."

"Is nothing, babe." Mae replied. She couldn't get over the part after he went into his own delusion.

"Did the boy ever meet his love?" Bryan asked as he noticed Mae was not going to finish the story.

"They were always together, even when he couldn't remember her, he loved her yet again."

"Wow, so nice. That's true love now." Bryan exclaimed as Mae smiled halfly with a laugh.

"Oh yes it is."

Back in the hall.

"Jane. You have to be open with me." Miss Old Gindi had took a seat and now she sat infront of her. This torture was said to be mile, but to those who knew each other, like Jane and Old Gindi, it created goosebumps.

"Matriach. Trust me, I said the truth." Jane almost cried after saying this. Why won't they believe?

"Where did you learn the term Trust me?" Old Miss Gindi asked. "Do you know how many times you have you have used that phrase?"

"I just want you to know I'm saying the truth." Jane begged.

"Ok, since you are just like my daughter, I will just give you a second chance." Miss Old Gindi relieved her of her worry as she untied her hands.

"Joe Ken. Sorry for the cold welcome." Old miss Gindi approached him as she took of the clothe in his mouth.

"You can talk." She said as she paced around him only to stand behind his back playing with the gun in her hand.

"What are you doing! Let me free now!" Joe Ken angrily ordered.

"Under this roof, I'm the one in charge." An old weary voice replied from behind him.

He regretted coming over, he trusted her too much.

"You know what...! I always wondered why the FBI and military disposed you. Now I know!" Joe Ken blurted.

"Oh. And why did they?" Old Miss Gindi asked calmly.

"Because you are a goddamn physcho! I guess it's been you after all these years!" Joe Ken screeched.

"Why didn't you kill your grandson too?" He continued shouting at the woman he couldn't see at his back.

"Tell me now! I lost my job as a government detective because I always thought Katumo was the man behind it. So it has been you. Why didn't you kill your grandson too!" Joe was humiliating her. He knew we was provoking a tigress, sticking his finger in a hive. Beware this is dangerous.

"Shut up! You know nothing!" Miss Old Gindi almost lost temper as she tried her best not to kill the inspector.

"You are wrong, but partially right."

"Hao Ge, do you mind?" Miss old Gindi requested her front man, her assasin, her massager and her relative.

"Thank you auntie." Hao Ge said as he stood up. He did been silent all through.

"Beware of the lovers up." He said as he pointed at the ceiling.

"Joe Ken. I will answer any question you ask politely." Hao Ge said as he picked a comb from the shelf and ran it through his pink hair.

"Who are you.?" Inspector Joe Ken asked.

"I'm prince Ge's brother." Hao Ge replied as he now stopped the combing process to take the seat next to Joe.

"Oh, you don't know Prince Ge."

Haha

"I've always told him he is infamous. After the Gindi dynasty fell, so did south Ge empire. This country emerged from the ruins of south Ge empire. Didn't you not know that?" Hao asked Joe.

"The Gindi family, which was and has always been the brother to our Ge family, were supposed to take over, rule this country till we got enough power to re-establish our empire again."

Hao Ge began narrating to Joe, but at this moment even the guards were listening, this was a piece of information no one outside the ring knew.

"Katumo, whom you think is a traitor, a loyalist, is infact a fellow patriot."

Joe Ken was out of questions, all this was new information.

"Where did you float?"

Joe ken memorized each part as he asked. "What of her?" He referred to Jane.

"Oh. Her? She is just the Matriach favorite." Hao Ge said.

"Why don't I understand a thing.?" Joe ken cried.

"I don't understand anything!"

Nothing was making sense, everything he heard sounded like just a blabber to waste time and diverge him from the truth.

This all didn't make sense.

"You are lying! You guys are the terrorists! I will make sure you all face the trial."

"One more stupid word and I will blast your head. You killed the home guards back at Angel city, that's why Katumo accidentally shot his wife. My sister. Oh Bai Songyi. I will avenge you.!"

She pulled the trigger and a bullet rang out shooting the floor between Joe's feet.

"Why did you kill the guards?"

"What are you trying to hide? I suspect there is a secret you hiding from us!" Miss old Gindi pushed Hao aside as she wiped the guns nozzle on her blouse.

On the roof Bryan was just about to get a night kiss when the bang shook them.

"Was that a gunshot!" They both exclaimed as fear struck them.

What's going on.

The quickly abandoned their romance and made their way back into the mansion.
