The Veil of Betrayal

Today's mission is to save the city of Rushmore from the soldiers of Chaos. We went out with the royal army, after our arrival, the two armies were preparing to engage in confrontation. On one side stands the army of Chaos, led by the brave King Arion. Their shields shine in the sunlight, decorated with symbols of justice and honor, as they claim. The Army of Light consists of skilled knights, archers and powerful magicians who harness the elements.

Our Legion, led by the feared Supreme Commander Malachi, confronts them. Her terrifying presence, hidden in the darkness, sends shivers down the spines of even the bravest warriors. The Legion of Shadows consists of me and Lily and a group of knights.

As the sun sets on the battlefield, both armies take up their positions. Raising his sword aloft, King Arion musters his forces with a loud cry. The Army of Light marches forward with disciplined precision, shields raised and swords ready.

The Legion of Shadows responds with a wave of darkness sweeping across the battlefield. Serial Assassins emerge from the shadows, launching deadly surprise attacks on unsuspecting knights. The goblins advance with brute force, smashing the enemy lines, and suddenly an unexpected guest emerges from the shadows bearing a red spear. Girl in her thirties, yellow hair and blue eyes. I said with a smile on my face: "Finally you have arrived, O Lady of Illusions." She answered me with all sarcasm: "And you always put yourself in trouble, O Azrael of silence."

Mages from both sides unleash their magical powers on each other. Lightning bolts crackle in the air while fireballs explode in brilliant bursts. The clash of light magic and dark magic creates a dazzling spectacle that illuminates the night sky.

Amidst the chaos, King Arion engages in a fierce duel with me. Our swords collide with thunderous force and we exchange blows. Every stroke resonates with our unwavering determination.

Meanwhile, archers fire arrows at their enemies from a distance, targeting weak spots in armor and knocking down key targets. The battlefield becomes a symphony of clashing weapons, cries of victory, and angry cries.

As the battle rages on, our army begins to take over. After a fierce battle that ends with Arion being killed and stabbed in the chest, the scene was a shock to everyone. Then this silence was interrupted by the cheering of the royal army.

The celebration in the kingdom was full of laughter, music and praise for us. We have been hailed as heroes for our triumphant mission against the Army of Chaos. But amid the cheers and applause, a cloud of suspicion still hung over me. My intuition told me that something wasn't right.

My attention turned to Serafina, my trusted ally. Her smile appeared forced, and her eyes carried a subtle turmoil. The inconsistencies in her behavior piqued my curiosity, leading me to secretly investigate her actions and whereabouts. I couldn't shake the nagging feeling that she was hiding something.

My investigation led me deeper into the kingdom, where I accidentally stumbled upon a hidden path. There, she witnesses a secret meeting between Seraphina and a mysterious figure, their voices muffled with secrecy. My world shattered as I listened, I could hardly believe the words reaching my ears. Seraphina, my loyal friend, was plotting to sabotage the counter-guards from within.

Shock and betrayal ran through my veins, but he suppressed his emotions, and resolved to confront Serafina and demand an explanation. I cornered her, my voice was filled with a mixture of anger and pain and I could hear an inner voice telling me, "I hate...hate...feed me with hate and hate", Asa demanded to know why they had betrayed everything they stood for. At first, Serafina denied any involvement, her eyes filling with tears of despair. But when faced with the overwhelming evidence, she finally collapsed under the weight of guilt.

Seraphina shivered confessed the truth. The senior servants have threatened her family's safety, leaving her no choice but to cooperate. My heart fluctuated between anger and compassion. I understood the depth of fear and despair that can drive a person to such an act. But I could not turn a blind eye to the danger it posed to their mission and the lives of their fellow counter guardians.

With heavy shoulders, I pondered the consequences of my choices. Should I sever ties with Seraphina to protect their cause, or should he try to rehabilitate her, giving her a chance at redemption? The answer lies in the balance of mercy and responsibility.

After much thought, I made my decision. With mixed feelings in my heart, I said to Seraphina, "Serafina, as bandleader, I'm announcing your removal from the group." I didn't know if it was hate or sadness. This was a shock to her, but in order to hide her sorrows, she said to me with confidence: "This is good. I have been trying to work with the senior servants from the beginning." Then she left, laughing sarcastically. This increased my hatred for those groups, and I wanted to go to them and destroy them one by one, but my strength was not enough to eliminate them.
