Going on a date

Eleanor texted Alan to let him know her sister wouldn't be able to join them because she had school the next day.

Alan was lying in bed when he received the message, and after reading it, he threw his legs in the air and turned over to the other side, his face buried into his pillow, grinning like a fool.

He heard a beep from his phone and looked.

Scarlet's name flashed across the screen at that moment. When he mentioned her name, his smile didn't fade.

"You owe me one," he read from her message. His grin broadened and he nodded. Among all the people he knew, the girl was slowly becoming his favorite.

"Sure, let me know what you want," he simply texted back as he went over to his chat with Eleanor.

Both Alan and Eleanor couldn't wait for their date on Monday. They both tossed in bed anticipating what could be done.

Their hearts were beating against their chest in a soft thud with each imagination they made.
