Chapter 127 Stage 3 Hurricane

Summer was over and with it's end came fall. The once healthy trees, with millions of green leafs. Were now withering away. Their leafs falling on the ground, covering it in a layers of colors. But soon the rain came along and with it a great Depression. Summer was over and winter was approaching at a noticeable pace. The lukewarm weather of summer was no more and an irresistible cold embraced the world. Many animals fled the country, while others went into hibernation, escaping the cold in hopes of summer once more.

It was five o'clock at a rainy autumn day. Most of the human population just got off work. Therefore traffic was at it's peak and the streets were full of people running back and fourth. From time to time, an unlucky person would get splashed by water, when they ran to close to the road.

The wind was strong and denied any usage of umbrellas. forcing the less fortunate to bathe in the rivers of water that fell from the sky. Like bullets the water hit the ground. The rain was so heavy, it was even blocking the sight of anyone in it. Whether one was in a car, or just standing in it. Seeing was near impossible and it was a miracle no car crash had yet to occur.

A small black circle appeared in the middle of the road. It was quickly increasing in size. But the drivers didn't notice the black circle and drove right into it. But somehow nothing happened and they continued their day, like nothing happened. As the circle grew in size, body parts started to leave it, until a beautiful man got out of the circle. He was about to start stretching, when he noticed a big metallic monster approaching him. Sadly he couldn't react in time and was hit.

A thundering sound woke the people from their day dream. As a man was hit by a car. Traffic stopped almost simultaneously. People gathered around the hurt man, who laid in a puddle of his own blood. Sirens could be heard in the distance and people quickly got into their cars, to get out of the way.

A white red van shaped vehicle came towards the car crash at astonishing speed. With it came some other cars, that were black and white. The black and white cars stopped next to the car. Some men exited the car and talked to a traumatized women.

" It's like he wasn't there a second ago and then all of a sudden he was! Please, I didn't mean to hit him, you have to believe me!The lady cried out. Anyone could tell she was crumbling under the pressure of possible killing someone.

" Calm down lady, were not here to arrest you. We just want to know what happened, from beginning to end." A man in dark blue clothing said. He had a weird badge, with police painted on it.

" I don't know, it happened so quick officer." The women said to the man and he sighted.

" Take your time mam."

While this was happening the unconscious man that was hit by the car was being brought into the white red vehicle. The men who brought him into the van worked as quick as they could. As the rainstorm was picking up, turning into something more.

The people who witnessed the crash had all left. Taking some pictures before they left of course, they couldn't forget their social media fame after all.

" Take him in the ambulance out of here and get him to the hospital. We'll deal with the lady here, after we bring her into the station for some questions. We don't want to stay out in this weather!" The man with the police badge said to one of the men who brought the injured man into the ambulance.

" Sure, talk to you later then Jeffry. Don't forget you own me a cup of coffee!" The man said, lightly punching his shoulder and getting into the front seat of the ambulance.

The man grabbed the wheel and clicked a button that said start. Then they drove of.

" Hey, Let's listen to the news." The man next to him said, as he pressed a button, next to the wheel.

" Now onto the weather. Today a stage three hurricane will hit north and west of Stankersfield. Many other countries are also experiencing some kind of disaster. The rain weather the coming days will not calm down, but the wind will not be at stage three or higher, in the coming days. Now back to news Klotra."

" Thank you Pilarta. Crazy weather, just a week ago, we already experienced a stage four hurricane and now a new one is coming. What do you say about this Galtra?"

" Well, climate change is the main reason behind this and to be frank, I don't think it's going to get better! Storms and natura.."

" Okey that's enough of you, thank you! Stacy take it from here."

" Yes Klorta, these last days have be...."

" Boom" Lightning struck next to the ambulance, as they were listening to the news. Making the news turn off and the ambulance die.

" Damnit, hey go out and try to get it to start again. I'll help Hjato keep the patient alive." One of the men screamed as he slammed open the door and ran back to the back of the ambulance.

His hair got drenched in water, while doing so.

The other man grabbed a battery and some weird tools and walked to the front and somehow opened the car. Then he started playing with his tools, doing some weird wizardry. Their ambulance wasn't the only vehicle affected by the lighting. All cars around them were off, some had even crashed with others. One could hear their cries for help. At the realization, the man trying his best to fix the car ran off to help the others.

The other man noticed this too and debated to himself if he should go or not. But his friend helped him make the decision.

" Go, I got this. Somehow this man seems to be fine." He said, while pointing at the supposedly injured man.

" Fine, let's meet here later!" The man said, as he ran off.

Just as the man ran of, the man who stayed said.

" You can open your eyes now, Hephaestus!"

" How do you know my name?" Hephaestus said, as he jumped up and grabbed the man by the neck. Smashing him against the metal walls of the ambulance.

" Augh, I'm a augh time traveler. Please augh, let go of agugh my neck." The man said, coughing viciously.

Hephaestus let go of his neck and the man fell to the ground. He stroked his neck several times, before standing up. Tears falling from his eyes.

" that was unnecessary. Anyways, I'm from the future. You are the savior of our world. But before you could execute the final step and bring us to your pantheon as you called it. We were attacked by worshipers of another god. I was the only survivor and I was sent back in time. To help you better prepare for the future. I know this is hard to believe, but please trust me!" The man said

" Sure, I'll trust you." Hephaestus said, shrugging the man off, before opening the door of the ambulance and walking out.

" Sir, it is highly advised that you do not do that. The apocalypse starts very soon and we need to get ready."

" No need, if the so called apocalypse starts soon, we better get our army quickly!" Hephaestus said, as he walked towards the crashed cars and helped the people.

He spent minutes gathering everyone, even the other men in the ambulance. They all stood under the roof, of one of the many skyscrapers. Thanks to the rain, a mist was forming and it was hard to see. So no one recognized who he was.

" Listen up everyone. The weather is just getting worse, so we need to work together to get out of this as uninjured as possible. Sadly that means leaving your cars behind. I know, I know, it's hard to leave them behind. But you can get them later. For now, let's focus on more important things! Like breaking into this building and taking cover from the rain!" Hephaestus said, as he punched in the door of the building and walked in.

The people expressed their discomfort, but quickly followed Hephaestus inside. As they didn't want to stay in the cold.

A city was being built. Billions worked day and night, yet it was nowhere near completion. Millions joined every day, hoping to take part of the benefits it would bring. Young or old, women or man, or those who see gender above their existence. It didn't matter. Only one thing mattered and it was opportunity. A rise from poor, to mediocre. Finally stabilizing, becoming what they were supposed to be.

The gods worked tirelessly for years. Not resting, only doing so slightly on pay day, to get more worshipers. This was their last and only chance to escape the void of poor dome.

In a giant celestial like building sat a man and his daughter. Both of them were doing paper work, deciding the fate of everyone involved with the realm.

" How business?" The man asked his daughter, as she was currently managing that department.

" It's going great! The gods love the structure were making and hope to see more of it. If it goes on like this, we might be able to recruit billions today! The project was a huge success. Our building firm is working perfectly. If it goes on like this, the gods under us will be able to have days of and live a normal life. Getting all the worshipers they deserve!" The daughter said to her father. She seemed upbeat. Rightfully so, as they were making a lot of origin points a lot of worship points and even fourth dimensional energy in the side.

" Good, lord Ragnar will be pleased!"

" You never did tell me who Ragnar is father!"

" Well daughter his the leader of the pantheon. I thought you knew. Guess you didn't."

" Wait were friends with the leader of the pantheon, that's great!"

" I wouldn't say friend daughter. More like, we're working for the leader of the pantheon. Anyways, O wonder what he is doing right now.?"

~Pov Ragnar~ (Third person)

A black mist seeped out of the cave, that Ragnar meditated next to. Every time he closes his eyes, he would see different people die, all related to the cave. Then he would appear next to it. So he decided to meditate next to it and try to gain a wisdom, of what it wished to tell him. After many days of doing so, he had a slight idea of who and what was inside this cave.

Nyx goddess of the night. She was said to be the strongest god/goddess in greek/roman mythology. Even Zeus feared her. When Ragnar came to this conclusion he decided to meditate next to her cave in his dreams. Hoping to gain understanding of the night. A she was the personification of the night. But after all this time, he had gained almost no understanding of the night and deemed it futile. Is it something else it wants to tell him. Ragnar thought, as he stood up, ready to enter the cave. Only to wake up again, like every time before.

But this time Ragnar didn't wake up screaming or sweating, as he was already used to it, at this point.
