Chapter 134 Seal And Release

" I will go with you! But, you need to unseal me too, not just release me!" Cronus said.

" Unseal?"

" Do you really think these chains can hold me? No! My powers are sealed in the twelve thrones of Olympus. Destroy them and I will be free!" Cronus told Ragnar, making the king of chaos sight. This would be far to troublesome to do himself. So he already had the plan to shift the responsibility to someone else.

Ragnar left the cave after his small conversation with the titan of time. The old king of this pantheon. It was weird to meet a man who ruled a pantheon of titans, that turned into a celestial pantheon. Especially since he thought he was dead. Until Nyx dropped the bomb of wisdom on his head.

Ragnar walked away from the cave, for a couple of minutes. But he didn't want to be to far away. Once he was about three universes away, he deemed the distance enough and started with his new plan.

Using his powers, he opened a gate to chaos. Thankfully they could survive in this realm, as the realm wasn't influenced by any dimension.

After the first creature came out of the crack, Ragnar opened a portal to Olympus mountain inside the crack and boom. He was done and all creatures of chaos would storm Olympus, with no traces to him. Other then the fact he was the king of chaos. But he had a plan for that too. He can just deny them of chaos and their no longer part of his authority. Like that, they will be even more unstable and unpredictable. But Ragnar didn't doubt for a second that Hephaestus and the celestials would survive. He had made it so they would. Only the thrones shall be destroyed. But if someone needs to get injured, so be it.

On the mountain of Olympus a portal randomly appeared. It caught a bunch of weak gods by surprise when it appeared. Resulting in them dying to the swarm of monster coming out of it. Eldritch horrors from ones worse nightmare swallowed them hole.

Amongst the small monster, one much bigger emerged. It was the size of several universes and dwarfed all the gods in their true from. The biggest size a god can become in it's true form is the size of a small galaxy. So when the creature came out of the portal and roared. It sent shivers down the spines of the gods.

But they still fought back the best they could. Even if the odds were overwhelming and they had no chance of winning. They fought on. Sadly they efforts were quickly destroyed, when more and more stronger creatures emerged from the portals. The place quickly became a tentacle feast. As almost 50% of all the monsters had tentacles.

The monster killed all the gods guarding the place and quickly ascended the mountain. They had to climb sadly, as they couldn't fly for some reason. But it didn't slow them down by much. They killed everything they saw and rage consumed their souls. They could hear screams of their fellow people, they could smell the richest of foods and their every desire. All of it was at the top, they had to get to the top!

So they did, after a minute they were on the top and the feeling from before had completely overwhelmed them. They couldn't think clear and didn't attack anything. They simply rushed towards the cause of attention.

The throne room was stormed by millions of creatures at the same time. Many of them were fifth dimensional level so the celestials couldn't protect the place and Hephaestus had no chance to begin with. He was only a 4/12 god.

Within seconds all twelve thrones were destroyed and that instant the portal closed and Ragnar appeared.

" I'm gone for half a day and this happens?" Ragnar screamed as dark tentacles trapped all the creatures.

" What are these things?" The celestials asked him. To which Ragnar said.

" They are monsters of the chaos dimension. Escaped ones. They hunt anything that's part of chaos, as their anger is directed towards it. For some reason they wanted the thrones destroyed. I'm sorry I got here a bit late. I've already taken care of all the monsters. Hephaestus build new thrones if needed. I'll look into how they got here." Ragnar said as he teleported away, as all the monsters died and disintegrated.

Ragnar appeared in the cave next to Cronus. The titan was smiling at him.

" Thank you for the help. I can take care of the rest. Just make a portal for me to travel to the sixth dimension through. I can't do that anymore. Zeus broke my connection to the dimension and I have to get them back."

" Fine I'll help you, heck it, I'll even go with you!" Ragnar said, as he made a portal and slashed the chains that held the titan to shreds.

" I told you I can handle it." Cronus said, as he stood up and stretched.

" I know, but I don't have the temperament to wait. Let's go!" Ragnar said and jumped through the portal. Cronus followed him and instantly felt great. It was like drinking water after three days without drinking any kind of liquid.

" Hahahaha, this feels great." He bellowed. But what the duo didn't know was that 199 sixth dimensional beings noticed them, the second they entered the realm and were now rushing towards them.

In seconds after they appeared they were surrounded. This made Cronus sweat, but Ragnar wasn't worried. He could enter chaos and if they somehow followed him. They would meet millions of sixth dimensional sun vermin. Close or refusing to become seventh dimensional beings. The only limitation he had was they couldn't enter the dimensions.

" Who are you?" They asked Cronus. They could feel that he was a titan and the celestials weren't happy about that. But the titans seemed very happy. They could also feel that his strength was at the peak of titan hood and if he wanted, he could become one of the all knowing any second. But he was resisting to ascend.

" I am Cronus, titan of time! I have been trapped for a long time in a realm. Seems like it had a bad impact on all titans, I apologize for that."

" No problem, you're here now! So who's your friend?"

" I'm Ragnar." Ragnar answered.

" Hmm, Ragnar, you don't seem to be one of us, yet you are definitely a sixth dimensional being, no doubting that! What are you, if I may ask?" A black haired man asked, he wore green clothes, he had short hair and next to him was a wolf. Somehow a titan stood next to a celestial. This shocked Ragnar, but he didn't care much for it and answered his question.

" I'm the king of chaos. Mind telling me who you are?"

" I'm Loki. I'm very interested in you mind if I.."

" Loki, be quiet!" A man with an eyepatch yelled at the Loki.

" Hmm, if you're Loki, the old man ordering you is Odin right?" Ragnar asked.

" Yes I'm Odin, are you a fan or something?"

" I've heard many great things about you, but I wouldn't call myself fan. Let's be honest. One should never look up to ones equals, it is a sign of weakness, is it not. Wisest man alive?"

" True, if you'd like, you're invited to visit Asgard. Now if you excuse me I have troubles to deal with at home." Odin said, as he turned into black feathers that disappeared.

Several other's followed him, but only two of the titans did. Meaning no titan was on his side. The ones that left was a snake and a wolf. He knew why both of them followed and it was thanks to Loki. The question was, why were any of then free?

" Ragnar, are you an ally of titans or celestials?"

" I don't ally with anyone! But if needed, I will help restore balance to celestials and titans."

" That's reassuring I guess. We need to get to that instantly there hasn't been a balance for a long time!" A titan said.

" You can take your time, no need to hurry!" A celestial said, almost making Ragnar laugh. But he smiled at least.

" Cronus go with them and restore your realm while your at it. I will come back here in some days, meet me then!" Ragnar said, as he left. He didn't find them hostile and he hoped most of them never would be. After all, he respect the strong. Those who are good enough to be remembered infinitely.

Ragnar appeared in Olympus next to the destroyed throne room. Hephaestus wasn't anywhere to be seen, so he was probably building new thrones. So he didn't bother him, instead he went down to the city of Olympus, below the mountain.

Millions of humans were everywhere, doing their everyday thing.

~Pov Ragnar~ (First person)

I walked up to a stall in front of me and threw the shop keeper a gold coin, I stole from the throne room. While I was there.

" One bread please." I said to the man and then walked away, sitting down on a bench. Thankfully this place had some of the traditions of the past, like having benches for people to sit on. After some minutes I could see him packing the bread in a pelt and putting it on the counter. After he was done, he waved at me to come. So I lazily stood up and yawned, stretched and walked towards the stall again.

" Here's your order sir." He said, acting all respectful. I guess he thought I was royalty or something. To be fair, I was way above it, so he wasn't wrong.

I nibbled at my bread, while observing the architecture of the city. Some times I would stop and look at some statues of Hephaestus and the celestials. You got to appreciate the effort the put into them.

As I was finishing my bread I saw a statue of myself, which shocked me. It was next to the main hearth flame building. It stood next to another statue of Alice the hearth of Greece.

How do they know of me? If I didn't wear a cloak today, would they have found me instantly. Why do they have that statue. Did Hephaestus do this. I'm sure no mortal met me, those thousand years ago.

" Astonishing, isn't he?" Someone said to me. Seems they snuck up on me, while I was captivated by my statue.

" Yes, who is he." I asked, wanting to know my origin to this place.

" He is known as the king of chaos. It is said he is the husband of Alice of the hearth and Hephaestus fears and respect him. It is also said that the moon goddess is part of his pantheon and not this one, just like the celestials. It was but a rumor and few know of it. But those who do, know that Hephaestus confirmed this. So out of respect we don't worship him, but we remind ourselves of his existence everyday."

" Hmm, Do you know of your past? Where you come from before this?"

" What do you mean?" She asked.

" So it was forgotten. Who cares, don't care for my words. By the way young one, you were right about him." I said leaving the place. Having had enough of the city. Leaving the most cool way possible.

(Third person)

Ragnar left behind the women, who seemed confused by his disappearance. But she continued with her day, but she found the man odd, like he knew something they didn't. He even called her young, she wasn't young. As a matter of fact, she was the oldest mortal out there. Demigod, one that didn't want to leave the mortals behind and have then fight on their own. So she stayed. She remembered Ragnar, when he appeared in the ship, she saw him. She saw him decimate the guards of the cockpit and enter. She was the last survivor, god or mortal, other then the main crew and she was to steer the wheel.
