Chapter 203 Fights

Despite the unfair two versus one, Heimdall was able to defend himself.

Heimdall smashed his shield into the snake and swung his sword at Loki's spear. Then he jumped back and raised his blade. Bringing it down in an arc, that created a twin slash light in the form of an x.

The light shone golden bright and blinded Unity who was watching. The barrier he made broke completely and the snake was free to move its entire body. Most of the snake had been trapped outside the barrier, curled up amongst the fifth dimensional beings.

Unity frowned in annoyance and quickly retreated. Far to weak to do anything. Instead it took a different approach.

Flying to the fifth dimension beings Unity raised its fist and swung it down. A divine light swallowed them and the next second a black mist surrounded Fig and all other fifth dimensional beings. Fig's eyes gained back a semblance of hope.

"Bring them somewhere else to fight!" Unity said. Almost like answering its prayers the mist consumed everything and took on the form of a giant wave of black water. A second later it was gone, with everything else.

Unity sighed in relief and turned back to the fight.

The snake curled its body around itself, forming a knot. But it didn't stop and continued with the endeavor. After what seemed like eternity, the snake was done. But now it was no longer a snake, instead a humanoid, green creature.

"Haha, you learned some neat tricks while I was away son!" Loki laughed.

The snake ignored its father and once more started attacking Heimdall. Its green fist made contact with the shield and a corrosive, green liquid was left behind. It started sizzling at the shield, making Heimdall frown.

"Damn snake!" He said and slashed out again. His sword managed to cut through the snake's, scale like skin. But was only met with more of that liquid.

"It's useless Heimdall. You can't kill me, my body is infinitely big and my form is simply storing myself in a subspace, similar to a realm. Any injury you inflict is useless." the snake said arrogantly, informing his enemy of his powers.

"Damn titan of Venom, at least try fighting honorably!" Heimdall yelled and slammed his shield into the snake and threw it at him. Then he launched at the passive Loki. Who was carving runes onto the ground.

But he was too late and the runes started sparking on Loki's arm, which he used as a medium.

"Take this you bastard!" Loki yelled and hurled his arm towards Heimdall. The sparks grew and a green light enveloped Heimdall.

Unfazed by the attack, Heimdall returned the favor. Sending a slash towards Loki. But Loki didn't stay in one place and instead disappeared into a green mist. The mist itself had consumed the whole realm. Making it Loki's domain. Red runes burned everywhere and Loki's voice echoed throughout the realm.

"You know the nature of my powers, yet you think you can win?" he said. Arrogance leaking from his voice.

Heimdall scuffed at Loki and raised his shield just in time to block an attack from the snake.

"Jörmungandr, do you have no shame?!" Heimdall yelled and countered the snake's attack. But it was to late. A splash of venom hit his skin and started sizzling.

Heimdall yelled in pain and recklessly swung his sword at the humanoid snake. Only to miss completely. Taking the new opportunity, Loki's attacked. A spear formed in his hand and he threw it at Heimdall. Unable to defend himself for the moment, he was skewered by the spear. Red runes inscribed on the spear started shining and exploded.

The explosion made the entire realm tremble, but seconds later Heimdall walked out of the smoke with a wide grin. His face was completely melted from the poison, but the explosion gave him no injury. A moment later he was completely healed. But the venom was still eating away at him.

Heimdall raised his sword and brought it down, slowly a crack formed and a moment later a vertical cut appeared on Loki. Then the snake attacked Heimdall, his fist nearing Heimdall's face. Knowing the danger behind Jörmungandr's attack he stepped to the right, barley avoiding death. Then he spun around and slashed the snake in two.

Heimdall jumped away and threw his sword at the bleeding Loki. All while bathing in the green mist. Seeping into the venom on his body, enhancing its effect.

Two spears appeared in Loki's hands and he received the sword head on, then he stabbed behind him, managing to scratch Heimdall, who appeared behind him. Loki frowned and destroyed the sword, then he turned to Heimdall.

"Whoops, it seems you failed!" Heimdall said, the grin on his ugly face growing. The next second a boom resounded through the realm and a blinding blue light shattered everything around them. The next thing Loki knew was the ground. A decent sized hammer plaster on his disfigured face.

"Heimdall, the northern front needs you. I will deal with them for the moment. Don't forget there's more of them!" the newcomer ordered.

The man in question had brown hair and a brown burly beard. In his hand was a hammer, or more like a short sledgehammer. Instead of iron though, it just had a rectangular stone, with round ends. Weird runic symbols filled the gray stone-head.

"Jörmungandr, it seems you're eager to die, just like my former brother!" lightning swirled around the hammer, still in Loki's face. The mischief kid screamed in pain, while the lightning coursed through his body.

A hiss resounded through the realm, as the snake approached. "Thor!" it said in anger. Venom dripping from every corner of the realm and an ocean of venom formed around them, as a storm of poison surrounded the two.

"Leave Loki, you're to weak!" the snake said and launched itself at Thor. The overweight man laughed at the snake and swung his hammer at him. The two collided and the snake's arm broke, only to heal again and sending a bunch of venom on Thor's face.

"It tickles, snake!" Thor yelled and punched Jörmungandr in the stomach, sending the snake flying like a rag-doll.

Jörmungandr figure morphed and an ocean if venom flowed out of him and formed a tsunami heading towards Thor. The brown haired man in question scoffed and raised his hammer high. Lightning fell on the hammer and Thor flexed the muscles in his body and swung his hammer vertically. Sending a wave of lightning, together with a powerful shockwave to meet the tsunami of venom head on.

The arc of lightning casually went through the venom and continued towards Jörmungandr. But the snake wasn't some pushover. Its figure distorted and its arms turned ti blades of venom, while its body became a weapon. Then it launched at the arc of lightning and passed through it.

Meanwhile Unity and Loki grouped up and left for Svartalfheim.

Seeing that they left Jörmungandr sighed in relief and said. "It's been a while since I could go all out, don't die just yet!"

Thor smiled and raised his hammer high again, this time he jumped and threw the hammer at Jörmungandr. The hammer turned the snake to mush and flew right through the body with no resistance. A stream of lightning passed through and Thor appeared next to the hammer, having traveled the same path, filling the hole inside Jörmungandr with lightning.

Thor grabbed his hammer and uppercutted Jörmungandr. A thunderous roar filled the realm, full of cracks. Seemingly falling apart from their collision.

"I must say Thor, you've grown since we last met!" Jörmungandr said, while cracking its

Weapon-like body. Several spikes flew out of its body and pierced Thor's skin, sending a wave of venom inti his veins.

Lightning crackled around Thor, destroying the spikes. "Your methods are as crude as always, damn snake!" Thor said. His hammer launched at the snake. But Jörmungandr avoided the attack and struck Thor in the stomach, sending him flying. An arc of lightning managed to infuse itself into the snake, when he attack Thor. Disintegrating the entire snake. Only for a new uninjured version to appear seconds later.

Jörmungandr raised its sword-like arm and brought it down. A sword like slash of venom, big enough to swallow multiverses flew towards Thor. Every second it was decreasing in size, growing more and more powerful.

"Oh, quality over quantity, that's new!" Thor said and slammed his hammer into the venom, now the size of a grain. The two powers collided and the world started crack, eight different places appeared from the cracks, showing the nine realms. The power behind their attacks managed to seep into the other worlds and wasn't stopping there. Thor wasn't winning the confrontation with the venom yet and showed sign of struggle.

In the end the lightning god lost and was thrown into another realm. Jörmungandr sighed and tiredly exclaimed. A second later a black haired man appeared with a katana in hand.

"It's not yet time for the real fight Jörmungandr, it's not advantageous for us right now!" the man said.

"I'm aware of that, leader of Ragthor. But Thor will return and he'll be angrier then before. Perhaps he too will go all out. When that happens, I will be unable to win for certain!" the snake answered and turned around.

"Where am I needed?" Jörmungandr asked.

"Go to the northern front and stop Heimdall's rampage. I'd send Ratri, but she's occupied with Odin. Who's for some reason way stronger then he's supposed to be. Hephaestus is almost done though, when the time is ripe, Olympus and Norse mythology's realms will merge!" the leader of Ragthor said. The snake nodded and went to the northern front. Leaving the black haired man behind. A second later Thor reemerged.

"Who are you, bring back Jörmungandr!" Thor screamed. He was enraged by the black haired man in front of him.

"I'm Ragnar, first born of Bjorne, and the original timeline!" the blacked haired man said and drew his katana from its scabbard. The black blade cut the realm itself with its very presence.

Ragnar raised his blade high and said. "You will go no further, son of Odin!" then he launched towards Thor. Several speed replicas appeared around him, thousands of versions of himself, holding the very same blade. "One in thousand" Ragnar said, as the clones of himself fused, just in time to collide with Thor's hammer.

Thor casually met the attack with an attack of his own, but he was overwhelmed when the two met and was thrown away again. Being sent into another realm once more. Ragnar simply took stance again, sword above his head.

A moment later Thor was back fuming in rage. "Who are you?!" he demanded, his hammer raised high in the air, arcs of lightning coming and going as they pleased. Thor looked more and more like lightning itself, his whole body swallowed. Slowly he turned into that very lightning.

"I have already told you my name. It is up to you to remember it!" the man answered indifferent to the prince of Asgard.

Thor grunted in annoyance and attacked Ragnar. His hammer net with Ragnar's blade, but came to a stalemate. The sword itself was already slashing through the hammer, flustered by this Thor jumped back and watched his hammer heal. If he had waited one more moment his hammer would have been cut in two.

"Very peculiar, so my theory was right. Only special weapons enchanted to heal, or a soul weapon could repair itself. Meaning Mjölnir is a soul weapon, yours ti be precise. The question is, how did you get your soul weapon?" the man asked and strolled towards the enraged lightning god.

"You dare, you dare!" Thor screamed in rage and the world turned blue. The nine realms felt the rage of Thor as lightning killed friend and foe. Slowly a stream of lightning strong enough to kill even seventy layers rushed towards Ragnar. Whilst it was raging in the other realms killing indifferent amount of beings.

The man walked forward, receiving the attack head on. His sword cut through the lightning and headed towards Thor, only to dissipate in front of him. The sheath of the blade it Thor in his stomach and his eyes turned white for a second. Enough time for the real to heal and Thro to be sent back to Asgard with the power behind the attack.

'Ahh, that guy sure is powerful, if not for my blade his attack would actually scratch me!' the man thought, as he returned to Svartalfheim to continue the project.
