6. Phew

Johan immediately jumped forward, trying to keep his distance from someone behind him who he thought was a burglar.

"This is the eighth floor, how the hell did he come through?" That was the only thing in his mind.

He panicked and immediately reached out to grab the mop stick in front of him as well as screaming loudly, so anyone who heard his scream would notice something wrong and come to his room. Maybe his scream could save him…or not. Who knows.

It was just that at the moment he grabbed the stick to defend himself, he felt the stick was kinda heavy, but he still lifted and held it in his arms, then turned around with a stance like holding a polearm.

However, what he saw after he turned around shocked him. Or, more likely, terrified him.

His thought accelerated.

"W-what should I do? That's the super dude who accidentally saved me from a truck. Don't tell me he wants to threaten me so I won't tell anyone about his powers. Or worst case, he wants to silence me? But, wait! If he really wanted to silence me, why didn't he do it at that time?

If he intends to do something to me, I won't be able to do anything. How can I beat someone who can throw a truck? It would be better if I spoke nicely. If it doesn't work, what else can I do?"

When Johan began to calm down and wanted to ask the person in front of him, that person pointed at what Johan was holding and said.

"You finally calmed down, right? If so, give my spear back!"

"Huh?" Johan was stunned. He thought, "What the hell is this guy talking about?"

However, when he looked around, he saw something different in the corner of his eyes. To be precise, the sight he saw through the glasses and the sight he saw through the slit of the glasses were different.

He immediately took off his glass. Even though he couldn't see it clearly without his glasses, he was sure the scene around where he was standing was no longer in his room. What's more, the place was so dark.

He tried putting on his glasses again, and the view around him was his room. But when he grabbed a nearby chair, his hand passed through it.

"How interesting, he could even see through an illusion."

The person in front of Johan, Qitian Dasheng, murmured.

Johan himself, who felt this was strange, immediately asked Qitian Dasheng.

"What do you want from me? How did I get here?"

Even though he was acting calm, his hands were shaking, and sweat was dripping from all over his body.

Immediately after, Johan heard the snap of a finger, then the scenery around him changed. Even though it was dark, he could see the trees lined up in an irregular line. Behind the trees was also an arid-looking hill, which he had seen before.

"This is the northern side of Beijing!" Johan exclaimed inwardly.

He was shocked beyond words. Who would have thought he would suddenly arrive here when he didn't go out of his room.

"Ah, it's understandable if you're wary of me. I didn't mean to kidnap you, you know. Seriously. I just don't want our conversation to be interrupted by other people."

"Do you seriously didn't think you kidnapped me?" Johan slightly twitched his mouth. But he could only say in his heart. Before he could ask, Qitian Dasheng continued.

"I just didn't think you could see through an illusion. So you realized you weren't in your room anymore. Just look at what you're holding!"

Johan raised his brows. Then he glanced at the thing in his arms. His eyes opened wide. He certainly grabbed a stick at that time. How could it transform into an exquisite spear? The spear had a dragon carved on its shaft and at the spearhead was a blade with a pale green glow.

"This!"

Maybe he's seen firearms like rifles because he's had dealings with the police in the past. However, this spear was a weapon used by humans long ago which was the first time he saw it.

Johan turned to Qitian Dasheng who was smiling at Johan.

"Then how did you bring me here?"

"Of course, using my abilities. With a blink, you will arrive here where an illusion has already formed in this place."

"Your explanation confused me. Also, are you that Super Saiyan Sun Wukong who used the instant transmission ability? And, why did you bring me here?"

At this moment, it was Qitian Dasheng who was confused by Johan's words. He murmured.

"Eh, this kid already knew an ability like mine? What the hell. Did that mean he already knew the existence of the cultivators?"

Qitian Dasheng just came to earth. He did hear a few things about the modern world. However, he did not know anything Johan said because he had never seen or heard what Johan meant.

"Well, as for why he brought you here, let me explain to you, little fellow."

Suddenly, Johan heard a man's voice with a slightly rough voice. That man was Wu Tian.

Johan turned his head, and a middle-aged man wearing modern clothes suddenly appeared out of nowhere. A few moments later, there were some people who landed beside him. There were two otherworldly beauties as well as stunning young men wearing ancient Chinese clothes, a monk, and another middle-aged man, and there were also several people he knew who were none other than the opponents he had fought against in a competition.

"That's Lu Feng. Did he come with these people? And, some of them can even fly. Ah, If I'm dreaming, please let me wake up real quick!"

He prayed that what he saw was only a dream. Too bad what he expected didn't happen even though he tried to pinch or slap his cheek. He actually looked like someone who had lost his mind.

"What are you doing, little fellow?"

"Ah, it's nothing. Don't mind me please!" Johan waved his hands.

"If that is the case, let's change location! This place isn't good enough for a talk." Wu Tian turned to Deadly Note. "Fellow Daoist Deadly Note, do you have a place around here?"

Before Deadly Note could reply, Lu Feng interjected.

"Senior Wu, senior Wu. I have a house around here. Why not go to my place?"

"Good. Tell me where!" Wu Tian nodded to Lu Feng, Lu Feng told Wu Tian the location and coordinates, including how his house looked. Then he turned to Johan. "Little fellow. My name is Wu Tian. You might be suspicious about why we brought you here. For a certain reason. I decided to help you."

Somehow, Johan felt weird about their conversation. Calling "senior" or "fellow Daoist" like that is kinda embarrassing. When he got into an accident some time ago, he thought it was just his delusion because everyone couldn't even remember what happened. But, ever since he was miraculously brought here, he started to believe that there was a kind of power beyond human ever reach.

Furthermore, he clearly saw some people in front of him floating in the sky before they landed beside that old man Wu Tian. That was similar to the legendary Sky Dance technique, Bukujutsu. A legendary technique to fly in the sky using qi. It's just that they didn't use qi, but swords instead. Although, what he didn't know was that using a flying sword also required qi.

He couldn't help but believe that there are superpowers in this world.

"Help me? What for? Does it benefit you, mister Wu?"

Wu Tian shook his head at Johan's questions.

"It doesn't benefit me in the slightest. However, it does benefit you and your future."

"My future?" Johan was perplexed. He didn't understand what Wu Tian was talking about.

Wu Tian pointed out.

"Your eyes. I more or less understand why your eyes are like this."

Johan was stunned. The problem with his sight was no secret at all. He also didn't understand why his sight changed overnight. However, the middle-aged man in front of him knew? Truthfully, that was unbelievable for him. Still, he wanted to know the reason despite the possibility of a lie that the middle-aged man made up to bring him out.

But then, Johan also thought that Wu Tian didn't lie at all. Why would Wu Tian lie if he could just force Johan?

Although Johan hesitated a little, he trusted Wu Tian for a time being and decided to follow him. He also gave back the spear since that spear was too heavy.

Johan saw Wu Tian take out his sword from its sheath and mumbled something. It was as if he was chanting some kind of magic, and the sword floated in the air afterward.

Johan was amazed by it. He waved his hand above and below the sword floating in midair, assuring himself that it was indeed hovering.

"What are you doing?"

"Um, I was just making sure that there are no ropes or wires above or below this sword."

What he said made the others laugh.

"Pffft."

"Hahaha."

"This dude is too funny."

Johan could only hold back his embarrassment because everyone was laughing at him.

Wu Tian just smiled at him. He stepped on his sword, then said to Johan.

"Come up! I'll bring you!"

"Mister Wu, are you sure we won't fall when we fly?"

"Just come! No need to worry!"

Johan nodded and stepped on that sword. It was so unbelievable he could fly using a sword today. Even though he wasn't the one who controlled it.

After he stepped on the sword, he heard Wu Tian say.

"Well, even if you fall, you don't need to worry that much because you won't hit the ground."

"Pardon?" Johan was startled by those words. He continued. "Did I hear it wrongly? Did you just say even if I fall, I won't hit the ground?"

Without answering the question, Wu Tian controlled his flying sword, then…

Phew…

They soared into the sky with the sound of Johan's screams echoing.
