Boyfriend?

Finally, out of necessity, Abi also took Iyya home safely to the front of his house.

Abi's eyes glanced at a car in front of his car. That's the car that Iyya always uses to go to campus or wherever.

"Your car's tire isn't flat, is it?"

Iya who was unbuckling her seatbelt looked straight ahead in surprise. He cursed his private driver who had carelessly parked the car. But, never mind, his plan has also worked, right?

"Oh, Abi likes su'udzon. Yes, I'm not lying, but maybe it's not deflated because the driver was also with the driver, Iyya. You can't su'udzon like that ah!"

Lazy to respond, Abi chose to believe it. Silently waiting for the woman who was free from the seatbelt to get out of her car.

Feeling the absence of any movement from the woman next to him, Abi turned his head.

    "Get down! You're here, right?"

"Mom said, don't do it half-heartedly if you deliver the person. The delivery also goes in front of the parents. Especially if it's a woman, it's only the men who are responsible."

"That's if you use a permit, you also take it away," said Abi with a flat voice and look at Iyya. It made her even more reluctant to look at him.

"Abi also uses permission. Iyya's permission means," he smirked then with an innocent face.

     "You paid for it!"

"It's already noisy! Iyya won't come down if Iyya doesn't come inside." She folded her arms in front of her chest.

"I'm really busy, Yya. There's still a lot of work!"

"What kind of work are you doing? You're still in college, what kind of work if not writing, is in the printing stage?"

"I told you that you don't know anything about me?"

"Oh, Abi, do you want Iyya to shout here and make Abi go with all the bodyguards of Iyya's family? Why don't you obey?"

"Well yes, come on! You're noisy."

Abi finally got out of the car first. Tired of arguing with this woman who doesn't give up easily.

Yes, pleasure in the car with a happy smile. Until he seemed reluctant to get out of the car.

"Let's hurry!" Abi knocked on the glass of his car door next to Iyya, making the people inside surprised.

    ***

    "Abi sit here first!"

"I just want to go straight back. Your parents don't seem to be around either."

"Eh, who said? Mama Kalina is here!" Kalina then appeared from behind the door of a room that Abi did not know what place was. What is visible from its position is a pile of goods, perhaps a warehouse.

Iyya smiled meaningfully as soon as his mother came to them.

"Oh my gosh, you look handsome right away. Have you become a boyfriend, Yya?" he asked his son who got Abi's sharp glare for Iyya.

Iyya returned Abi's gaze with a bright smile. "Yes, Mah. Meet this prospective daughter-in-law Mamah!"

Surprised. Abi rolled his eyes hearing Iyya so loudly saying that in front of his parents. Maybe if he was in front of Stefani yesterday he wouldn't have a problem, but when it comes to parents like this, Abi can't. Fear of disappointment later.

    "Um, Auntie—"

"Mama accompanies my boyfriend first, I want to change clothes. Don't do anything!"

Iya deliberately cut Abi's words which would certainly straighten his words. No, Iyya won't allow it. It's also a prayer for his future relationship.

"Ah ready! Mamah will take care of it with all my heart, soul, and body," Kalina replied enthusiastically. When Iyya ran to his room, Kalina then told Abi to sit down which of course he couldn't refuse. If you look at this middle-aged woman, it feels like Abi is looking at Iris, his mother.

    "Abi's college friend, Iyya, huh?"

    "Yes, Auntie."

    "One course?"

    "One class, Auntie."

"Have you ever had plastic surgery?"

Abi was surprised to hear that one question. Moreover, Kalina was watching him so closely that it made him nervous.

"Ng… No, Auntie," said Abi nervously.

     "Oh? Handsome from birth?"

How does Abby answer that? It's not fun if he admits to himself about his good looks.

"You don't have to answer. Oh yeah, I forgot that I haven't been served anything yet. Just a moment!"

    "Mom? Auntie?"

Two maids in their maid uniforms came at their big madam's call.

    "Yes, madam?"

"Please make a drink for my son's girlfriend! Just bring the chocolate from Belgium. Don't forget the other snacks too!"

"All right, madam!" They immediately carried out the orders their madam gave them.

It is normal for Abi, Iyya also has a servant at his house. However, seeing them being treated as servants like that, it felt like Abi couldn't bear it.

Kalina refocused her attention on Abi, who knows what she was looking for.

"Who is this Abi's son? How can he be so handsome? Who are Abi's parents?" he asked seriously.

Ah? Should Abi explain who his parents are?

"Whose kid?" Kalina asked again this time a little more urgently.

"I am the son of the late Brigadier Mahesa Jenar Malik, Aunt."

"Oh, Iris Anastasia's daughter, right? I know your mother, she was also a former model, right? My aunt is also a former model, so you've heard her name."

    "Do you know my mother?"

"Not knowing, just knowing. Because our world used to be the same."

"It's been a while, Mah, let's talk. Don't interrogate too much, ah!" Iya immediately got in between them and sat in the middle. Clinging to Abi makes Abi uncomfortable.

"Abi, this is Aunt Iris's son, Yya!"

Hearing that name, Iyya remembered the incident at the boutique some time ago. Oh, what a shame!

"Yes, Mah. Iyya knows," he answered awkwardly.

"Auntie, if that's the case, Abi says goodbye first, well, there's still a lot of work to do," said Abi. The thing he wanted to do earlier.

"How come it's so fast? Just wait for Iyya's papa to come home, it's going to be a while."

"Sorry, Auntie. But maybe another time."

"Next time right?" Iyya was immediately excited when he heard Abi's reply earlier. His intentions were just small talk, why did he get punched like that right away? Damn it sucks!

"My aunt excuse me!" Abi immediately shook the back of Kalina's hand politely, ignoring what Iyya said earlier. It's not just being promised, it's being forced to do so, especially if given a promise.

     "We'll play again later, Abi!"

"Mama, Iyya will take you to the front!"

"No need! You can do it yourself. Auntie excuse me. Assalamualaikum." Abi immediately left the place quickly. Don't want Iyya to catch up and tell him more traps.

"Abi is a polite son, isn't he? He seems very different from his mother," Kalina said after Abi left the house.

"What's Aunt Iris like, Mah? If her son is like Abi, surely his parents are also cool and the best, right?"

"Ah, you never read gossip. Abi is polite, and gentle like that, it must be because of his father. Mamah knows a little about Brigadier Mahesa, he is a very nice person."

"Sometimes Mamah thinks, why do you want to be with Iris?"
