Do I Have The Right To Be Angry?

"Other people shouldn't need to carelessly talk about you, Bi. They don't know anything other than what we show."

Abidzar just smiled when his best friend had been nagging since he came back from the cafeteria. Now, Dellyn sits with Abidzar in class who is continuing to write the script.

"It's up to them what they want to say. We are the ones who know ourselves," said Abidzar in response.

"I've lost my respect for Iya. His words really can't be kept. He says he likes you, but he's really brave to have shallow thoughts like that."

"It should not be the person you hate, but the attitude. If it's the person you hate, no matter how good he does you will continue to hate him."

"You're too good for me to hold grudges," replied Dellyn, annoyed that Abidzar always had an answer for every word he said.

Abidzar laughed softly and then resumed the script that had been delayed.

"When do you want your manuscript to be published?" asked Dellyn, putting aside her annoyance when she saw the many writings plastered on the laptop screen.

"I will not publish it. This story is specifically for someone who will later become my companion. I don't know who he is, but I think he must know the contents of this story. The story of my life!"

"Anyone? Even if he disappointed you?"

"Whatever he does to me, as long as he is my destiny, I will gladly give up all of this. After that, it's up to him whether he wants to publish or not. Because it already belongs to him. But, for me he still has to be someone first to know." His gaze stared straight at the clean, blank blackboard. Can't imagine who that woman is.

"Then, what's the end of your story?" asked Dellin curiously.

"How do I know. I haven't even met him yet. Maybe when I'm really gone, that's the end."

"Abi, did Dellyn tell you?" Iyya sat closer to Abidzar who he deliberately pulled into his car earlier.

"Yes," answered Abidzar briefly. His face was flat looking straight ahead. It's as if Iya doesn't exist.

"Sorry, Iyya admits i was wrong. Iyya promises not to do that again."

"It's okay with me. I'm used to getting other people's views. But don't let other people hit you. It's dangerous for you!"

She was stunned. Why is this man so nice? How to forget the feeling when it's like this? It hurts to keep holding on, but forgetting is no reason either. Abidzar was always kind even though he was in the midst of hurtful people.

   "Are you really sorry, Iyya?"

Abi chuckled sarcastically then nodded his head slightly.

"Aahhh thanks!" Iyya almost hugged Abi if his consciousness didn't recover immediately.

Abi also restrained himself when suddenly Iyya was surprised to hug him.

"Sorry! But, why aren't you angry anyway? Dellyn just disappointed with me, why are you just used to it?"

"People don't need to know how I'm angry. What's the point? There's only material for other people to threaten my weaknesses. Do you want to make me angry? Try it if you can!" Because when that happens, then he will lose everything.

"Oh, Abi challenged Iyya? Just so you know, Iyya is an expert in all kinds of challenges. Moreover, it's just making Abi angry. Promise not to be arrested if you're angry!"

Abby chuckled and nodded her head slowly. Makes Iyya stunned to see how sweet Abidzar's smile is.

"Don't be like that ah look at it. You'll fall in love again!" Abi's chuckle made Iyya immediately wake up.

    "You've fallen in love, really."

    ***

Have you never fallen in love? It's called public deception. Iya had one ex during her high school days. Their relationship foundered after six months of officially dating. The third person is the reason they are no longer together. Eits, don't blame Iyya. He is actually a victim of the forbidden relationship between two people who do not know themselves. His ex-girlfriend never told him about his mistress. Maybe afraid of Iya's crush.

But, it feels different this time. Iyya's feeling of falling in love now and then is different. Or is it because people are different? In the past, Iyya felt like always hiding behind Alula's armpit whenever they met. Shy teenage cats as they steal glances at each other. But, this time, Iyya wanted to stay near him, one look at him. Always have to get his attention.

"How do you want to move on if he keeps falling in love every day?" He was furious with himself. It's not that Iyya wants to forget the man, but Iyya realizes that getting Abidzar's love requires a lot of emotional sacrifice.

Iyya, who was sitting sideways looking at the night view from his bedroom window, immediately changed his position to turn his back on the view nervously.

"But, why should I just give up because of the past? I'm sorry, I won't lose to him."

Well, to be honest, if Stefani's arrival into Abidzar's life again managed to disturb Iyya's heart. Especially considering how close Stefani is to the Abidzar family. However, once again, Iyya is not a weak woman who gives up easily. He must succeed in making Abidzar fall in love with him.

"Mother, I'm sorry in advance, but can you ask me for the money? Don't go through the office and use office money. I've already prepared money for shopping, Mom," Abidzar said at length in a low, polite and gentle tone of voice. Ah, which woman doesn't melt hearing Abi's voice like that?

"Why really? Do you want to eat yourself is office money? It's only fifty million, it won't make you bankrupt either." Iris turned her face away annoyed with the rotation of her eyes that pierced Abi's heart.

"It's not like that, Mother. But, that's their right. What I've held is really our right."

"Our rights? It's my right. You've got a lot of savings accounts."

"Mother, stop talking about that. You have one too if you forget. I use it for my educational purposes. Not for obscure sprees like you might think." Only this time Abi dared to go against Iris' words. But, still with a voice that trembled because it was unusual. He still has a lot of fear, which Abi is very grateful for.

"Wow, it's great that you have dared to fight me? Want me to take my husband's uniform? Just show off his work. What do you mean? Insinuate me because I like shopping for this and that? You are really very different from Mahesa. Mahesa is so kind and understanding without asking for anything in return and bringing up this and that. It seems that I had an affair until I got pregnant with you. You must not be Mahesa's child! Or maybe you were mixed up in the hospital. That's the biggest possibility."

Abi rolled his eyes hearing all of this. Was she so humiliating that Iris wished that she had had an affair and gave birth to someone else's child? Even thought that he was a swapped baby. What is Abidzar lacking in making Iris happy? It feels like everything he does is always wrong and doesn't mean anything.

"Mom must make papa sad talking about it."
