A Warm Hug

Dellyn took Iyya to Abidzar's house first to confirm the man's whereabouts. Since it was already night, maybe Abidzar was dreaming and his mind was confused. So, they will check the house first.

"Actually, what problem does Abidzar have? Why did his voice sound so frustrated earlier?" It's normal for Iyya to be worried. Abidzar's words managed to make Iyya's mind disturbed.

Dellyn was silent. Don't know how to answer. He knows a lot, however, does not mean he knows everything.

"Abidzar is not a guy whose life is easy, Yya. That's why he can't fall in love carelessly. He can't be selfish by only thinking about himself," Dellyn said as gently as possible.

"So, you mean, all this time he's been indifferent to me, not because he wanted to?"

Dellyn didn't answer anymore, just leave Iyya with her own thoughts.

They are now in front of Abidzar's house, all they have to do is knock on the door. However, Dellyn remained silent, making Iyya confused.

"Why are you silent? Come on, knock!"

"I'm afraid that Abidzar's mother will open it," Dellyn said with a scared face, making Iyya come forward. No matter what will happen, he only thinks about Abidzar at this time.

An old woman who opened the door after Iyya knocked a long time ago. Dellyn breathed a sigh of relief and immediately stepped forward parallel to Iyya.

"Abidzar is not at home, Bi?"

"Earlier came out. His face was sad, do not know where he is."

    ***

At half past eleven in the evening Dellyn was still with Abiya looking for Abidzar's whereabouts. They decided to search the streets, hoping to find one.

"That's not Abidzar, is it?" Iyya asked when her eyes landed on a man on the edge of a very high suspension bridge.

   "Stop!"

Iyya immediately stopped her car when Dellyn said that. Dellyn came out first and sprinted toward the man. Leaving Abiya who still has to turn off the car engine and park the car properly.

   ***

Abidzar's eyesight was covered by a dam of water which had not spilled before. For some reason the belief that had been so bravely dominating him, was now replaced with a feeling of doubt. Should he do all of this? Has he made the right decision?

The question kept spinning around in his head until a hand pulled him to make his body spin.

Abidzar was surprised when he saw that the person was Delyn with a ragged breath.

"What are you doing here?" asked Abidzar still surprised. How could he know he was here?

"Are you crazy? Are you stupid? What are you doing here?" Dellyn was angry. He panicked, worried and afraid.

Abidzar's head bowed weakly. Dellyn's anger was able to frighten her.

"What are you doing here? What's your stupid mind asking you to do? To jump down? What's the point? Do you think that by doing that, all your problems will be solved? Have you forgotten? You don't even need to end your life, your life too it'll be over soon, right?" Dellyn's breath was running fast. His chest heaved.

Abidzar nodded his head hearing Dellyn's last sentence. True, his life would end soon without the need for him to do this stupid thing.

"You're right, I don't need to kill myself," he said weakly, making Dellyn realize that he had gone too far in speaking.

"Bi, that's not what i meant—" Dellyn's words were cut off by Abiya's sudden hug to Abidzar. The hug from behind now changed because Iyya turned so she hugged Abidzar from the front.

Abi was made to freeze because of the sudden treatment that Iyya did. At first he was surprised, but after a while he felt comfortable. He felt comfortable being in Iyya's warm and comforting arms. Even more so when I heard the woman's heartbeat, which also doubled in work.

Abi returned Iyya's hug. He wrapped his arms around the woman's slender waist. Leaning his head on Iyya's small shoulder but still feeling comfortable.

Iyya's hand slowly moved to stroke Abi's back which gave Abi a comfortable effect.

"No matter how hard life's problems are, ending life is not the right choice. You feel that your life is difficult, maybe there are people out there who are more difficult than you. There are those who want a long life but fate is not on their side. For you, be grateful because God still gives you health body," said Iyya in a soft voice to calm this man. In fact, he didn't know for sure, did Abidzar really have stupid intentions like what he was thinking or not?

Abi smiled bitterly hearing everything that Iyya said. His heart fluttered hearing Iyya's soft and soothing voice. If only he could fall in love, he would fight for this woman.

"You may be tired, but don't give up. You feel your life is useless, but maybe you don't know that many people love you and expect you to continue to be healthy. Don't do it again, OK?"

Dellyn chose to leave them. Just leave them alone. Hopefully Iyya can open Abidzar's mind so he doesn't choose the wrong path again.

Abi kept quiet listening to everything Iyya said. When Iyya was about to let go of their hug, Abi held her back. He still misses the feeling of a hug. Being in Iyya's arms made Abi feel Mahesa's arms around her. Abi didn't want to let go of his hug.

Iyya hugged Abi again because she didn't let go. Earlier he just reflexed to hug Abi. Because he can't see Abi so messy. Even though he didn't know how broken his life felt.

"Sorry, Yya. I want you to hug me longer. Is that okay?"

Iyya nodded her head without uttering a word. They were in that position for a long time until Iyya felt her clothes getting wet, she heard small sobs from the man who was hugging her.

"Are you crying?" Iyya was about to let go of his embrace to see Abi's face, but Abi held her back again and again.

"I need your hug first, Yya. I don't want you to see me cry, so let's do this first."

Iyya returned to silence letting Abi shed her tears in his arms. Hoping that after this he will feel better.

"I'm tired, Yya. My own mother doesn't expect my presence. My father left me first. I don't have anyone to lean on. Who do you want to complain to? This is the first time I've felt a hug after ten years ago, Yes."

Iyya hugged Abi even tighter after hearing Abi's last sentence. How hard has Abi's life been so far?

"Only Dellyn knows how difficult my life is. And now you are added. I hope you won't tell anyone about me. I believe in you, Yya."

Iya's heart trembled. Only this time he got a real trust and without coercion. His head nodded enthusiastically.

"Yeah, I can keep Abi's secret better than Dellyn. Don't worry!"
