" Sometimes losing is another form of gaining. If you lost your old memories then you have a chance to make some new ones. Do you want to make some new memories? " he asked the girl standing in front of her wearing blue n white in the moonlight. It made her appear pure and he didn't dare to impure her. He promised himself.
" I'm quite new to the fact? " she asked in a soft voice.
" But do you know it's the only fact that lasts more than anything else in the world? Nothing is more permanent than memories," he says solidly.
" Memories torment us. Memories give us happiness. Memories give us the memories we want to cherish" he added.
" I want to create memories that I will cherish my whole life. Will you show me the beauty of this night," she said with stars in her eyes full of excitement.
He adored the excitement in her eyes and lead the way to guide and take her out of the church. Both of them went out and walked in the moonlight.
" Nights are always quieter. They keep their secrets to them. They are the ones who have witnessed the things that others have not. When darkness spreads out it offers a blanket to everything. When one wants to reveal their weaker self to themselves, they do it at night. And how pacifying it is to cry, weep and dwell in your grief when the night comes. Night puts a veil on everything that doesn't need to be revealed. Maybe that's why I love night more than day. " she said with a sigh.
" You love the secrecy that the night provides. It means you keep your guard up all the time and don't allow yourself to be open to everyone," he spoke one's mind.
" I admit I'm not an open book and I don't want to be. Because I feel safe when I'm close. "
" But being safe also comes with a price. And loneliness isn't a thing that one can handle alone."
I have spent so many nights alone in my room thinking about my life that I forgot the counting. She thought but didn't say it out loud.
Sitting on the cold floor, in a trance, wanting to cry but my eyes are dry. Nights were that for me.
" So, I'm right you are not a morning person. But I'm a morning person. It doesn't hurt that two people of different personalities come across for good reason. Does it? " he said with an easy smile.
" No, it doesn't. " she smiled and her eyes shone bright with the faintest flame in them. He saw it and captured that moment in his eyes to remember it later.
May your eyes smile with the brightest flame. He prayed in his heart.
" Life is like this night sky, and we are like stars roaming in this big dark blanket looking for answers and searching for our lost souls," she said gloomily.
" But in those searches, we forget the most important thing that we are the light we are looking outside to guide our way. Bcoz we are the stars," he said motivational.
" You have a way of finding motivation in everything, don't you? The people around you must be frustrated with your outer look at life. God help them. " she said with a teasing smile and he looked at her with a matter-of-fact smile.
"Maybe I have seen life the way most people don't. But trust me I wasn't born optimistic," he said in a light-hearted tone.
And she chuckled at his expression.
" I don't know what's in store for me tomorrow but I wish I could stay more with this person in front of me whose presence feels like lavender soothing my nerves and releasing my worries. " she hoped in her heart. But didn't dare to show in her expressions.
" I want to say something. It's urgent," she said with a worried expression.
" What is it? " he asked in a cautious tone.
" I'm hungry," she spoke one's mind.
" Oh, that's a real emergency. Let's go get something to eat," he said and led her the way.
