Chapter 105 Exams

"Guess!"

"Sigh..magic?"

"Oh, here is your ticket, be sure to not loose it, NEXT"

Finally! I have a ticket, who knew it would be such a long line, ah! The wait, it seems the examination is about to begin now.

I hurriedly made my way over to the place and entered, clutching the ticket with my life when I remembered I can just have it in my space since I am a supposed spatial mage, though how am I gonna show my space magic to them.

'nah! I will figure it out as I go'

Just then the host finally started the examination, I could feel the heartbeats of the people who came going up and down like trumpets.

I guess everyone is nervous and excited to be giving the exams, we attentively heard t uh e guy yap on before the weird guy from the first ranked squad finally stoof up and sprouted several flying brooms for us.

I held the broom in my hands as I contemplated what to do, I don't really remember much but I hope the magic knights arent able to see my mana quantity or I will be caught.

I slowly put the broom between my legs as I hovered above the ground and started rising , after a bit of a rise I started moving around in the air at extreme speeds to show my talent, I wasn't gonna hold back and accidentally loose my place

"Ohh! It's the brat from that village, haha"

Shit! I forgot about that barbarian bafoon, the looks he is giving me aren't really friendly, I guess he is interested in me or something.

I stepped back onto the ground as the contest came to an end, I guess next we will be having some kind of test to show our magic quantity, thats what I thought as swarms of those anti birds flew towards us.

I wasn't gonna have other people laugh at me, and shake full to say, those dead fish eyes scared me so I pulled up my aura as the birds somehow felt it and flew away from me

"Oh my god! There isn't even a single bird on his shoulder, and did you see how he flew around on that broom before "

I heard some people discussing me while others that were jealous or feeling pressured just dissuaded the situation, some even went as far as to call me a nobody that wont survive long or whatever.

It's not like me to feel it but I really wanna jab at a few of them

The exam continued and slowly everyone started to understand their own situations, then came the target practice and we were asked to show our magic.

I stood a few meters away from a flying pieces of wood that I was asked to 'deal' with using only magic.

'Hmmm, let's go me minato style'

I summoned a dagger from my hands to show my magic type as the area was again filled with gasps

I think it's safe to say that I am going to be sorted to at least one squad.

I threw the dagger forwards and just as I was going to be called out, the dagger disappeared from place before it was found embedded on the wooden target.

I didn't stop there as I imitated a certain Rinnegan user and pushed my hand forward.

"Pull!"

The wooden target came towards me at blinding speeds before I shouted

"Push"

And the poor thing got blown to bits, it hard for me to imitate these moves to do this but since I am outing as a spatial magic user, I gotta act the part.

I used the last dummy and waved my hands in arc like manner as if I was using a sword, a giant arc of dark purple soul force flew out as it contacted the last dummy, completely annihilating it as it made way and cut the stadium area, thankfully there were no people on that side.

I gave a small bow at the magic knight captains as I made my way back and someone else was called in my place.

It took a bit of time for everyone to be done with their target practice exam, meanwhile I kept receiving glares from Yami, I just returned the favor with a middle finger,

'if you gonna be a sour grape, I will just have to be even bitter'

Needless to say the guy started laughing like a madman as he pointed his finger at me, I didn't bother making out what he said as there was too much noise.

"Alright young people, now you all will be having a one-on-one fight with each other, you all have ten minutes to choose your opponents before we choose for you ourselves"

With that everyone started looking around as they started choosing an opponent while I opened my eyes and this time, my field of view was filled with various colors and intensity as I took in how strong and weak every one was.

'I wonder if I should challenge a noble and run his nose in the ground, hehe'
