Chapter 8 Azuma’s offer

"I am sorry but I am looking for a jonin named Gai." Kin replied.

"Ah. We can not help it then. See you later." Shikamaru said.

"If you are looking for gai sensei he might not be available. I heard that he is checking out lee's medical examination results. You might want to come with us first. Then you can go and find him he might be finished by that time." Choji said.

Azuma and Shikamaru look at him thinking that idiot.

So he followed the three to Yakiniku Q.

"So you are a genin," Azuma asked Kin.

"I became a ninja Two days ago," Kin replied.

"Choji you are going to get sick again, can't you eat a bit more while appreciating the food?" Ino asked.

"I know how to eat and appreciate at the same time," choji said.

"I didn't know you were a picky eater. According to Naruto, you asked whatever Tsunade ask you to so I was expecting more of an eat-all taste later guy." Shikamaru said as he looked at the Vegetables on Kin's plate.

"Hey. That's the meat I was saving." Ino yelled as Choji picked up the last meat from the oven.

"The last bite. At the end of the meal that is the most precious morsel of meat." choji said as he put the meat in his mouth.

"I won't let anyone take that piece of meat away from me." choji said to Ino.

"What are you saying? You idiot. That's why everyone makes fun of you choji. You stupid fa.." ino yelled at him before being cut off by Shikamaru.

"Ino. That word is Taboo here. But Choji eating is not a battle. Why don't you lighten up a little eh?" Shikamaru said as choji smiled at him.

"Thanks for the meal." Kin said as he put his plate and two chopsticks on the table.

A Scrooge. A trash talker and a glutton. I am worried about these three. Azuma thought.

"Choji, all you do is eat. Why don't you spend more time training? Shikamaru is already a Chunin." Azuma told choji which makes him feel sad and Shikamaru noticed.

Then after eating Azuma sent all of them to the restroom to wash up.

"I envy you choji. You don't care how much you eat." Shikamaru heard what ino was saying to Choji.

"I have to go on a diet and it's painful." ino said.

"So why do you bother?" Choji asked.

"Girls always want to look pretty as possible for someone they like," Ino said.

"But you never knew if the guy likes skinny girls." choji said.

"All guys like skinny girls more than fa..... Never mind. But you are still one of a kind." Ino said.

"Anyway, choji. You better pay attention to your body or you won't be getting any girls." Ino said as she left.

"She doesn't get it," Shikamaru said as he comes out of the restroom.

"Guys don't necessarily like skinny girls as much as they tend to claim. I hear guys tend to like stacked girls if you know what I mean. To be honest she is one of a kind too. Ino and her diet if she put a little meat on she will be more popular." Shikamaru said as he cheered Choji.

This is getting awkward. Azuma thought as he was left alone with Kin.

"So how long have you known lady Tsunade." He asked.

"Not long." Kin replied.

"I see," Azuma said.

The fuck how the hell am I supposed to continue the conversation if you just cut off like that. Azuma yelled inside his mind but on the surface, he was still trying to retain his cool mentor act as he even lit up a cigarette and started to smoke.

"You are looking for Gai to learn Taijutsu from him right," Azuma asked.

"That's what Shizune asked me to do." Kin replied.

"I don't think he can spare time for you when his most precious student is injured so here," Azuma said as he handed a note with an address on it.

"This is?" Kin asked.

"My address. Come and find me if Gai doesn't want to teach you." Azuma said as he got up and left.

"Hey, where is Azuma sensei?" Ino asked kin.

"He left." Kin replied.

"He left. Did he pay the bill?" she panicked.

"No. He didn't." The owner who is waiting at the cashier said to them.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Shikamaru and Choji who just got out of the rest room asked.

"Sensei didn't pay the bill," Ino replied.

"That's a problem," Shikamaru said.

"What's the big deal? Ino didn't you have the money that you got from working in the flower shop." choji said.

"That is for the dress I was planning to buy. I am not going to use it on your bill." Ino replied.

"What a drag. Hey, redhair. do you have any money on you? If so can you pay the bill? I will get it back from Azuma later." Shikamaru asked.

"...." Kin said as he handed him his wallet.

"Wow, you are loaded," Choji said as he looked into Kin's wallet.

Kin was lucky. He has the type of luck that allows him to win on any bet that he makes no matter how unsensible it is.

Horse race, slot machine, pachinko, dice, cards and even rock paper scissors he will always come out victorious even if he doesn't want to. With that kind of luck, he was able to gather a small amount of wealth on his own during his adventures with Tsunade.

"I think this is enough. Here is your wallet back," Shikamaru said as he took some money and gave the wallet back to his kin but he was already gone.

"Hey, where did he go?" Choji asked.

"He must be shy that he helped a beautiful girl like me and run away," Ino said.

"But how did he move that fast. And without making a noise." Shikamaru said.

"If you are talking about the kid that was with you he just walked out of the shop after giving you his wallet." The owner said to the three.
