Chapter 112

Haniel and I quietly made our way to the gate. It was a rusty old gate, Haniel pushed the gate open. It was pitch black and I couldn't see anything. Haniel brought out flashlights from her bag, I had no idea she had a bag with her.

"Here" Haniel said as she handed over to me a flashlight. I took it, I mean what choice do I have? "Stay close" Haniel said. We both entered the gate, the place was so creepy, there were cobwebs everywhere.

The minute Haniel put on her flashlight, we saw bones scattered everywhere. My heart sank into my stomach immediately. "It looks like we have to be careful" Haniel said. "No way these are human beings right?" I asked.

"We would never know" Haniel replied. we continued walking and my legs stepped on something with made a cracking sound. I quickly put on my flashlight, I looked on the ground and saw skulls. I gasped in horror.

"Shh!!" Haniel said. "What do you think ate them?" I asked in fear. "A glemor" Haniel said. "What's that?" I asked. "It's beast that feeds on human flesh, it is said that a glemor can smell a persons fear from a thousand mile, so if I where you i'd keep quiet and whatever you do don't be scared" Haniel said.

"It's easy for you to say" I said. We continued our journey. "Where do you think this glemor could be?" I asked. "Probably taking a nap, that's why we need to hurry. It is usually grumpy when it's been woken from its nap" Haniel said.

We walked for some time. I was so happy when Haniel informed me that we have passed the glemor's cave. We walked up a scary staircase. It got a place where Haniel asked me to go right while she goes left. I agreed cause it would be a much easier and faster way to find Benjamin.

I went in the direction Haniel asked me to. I walked for so many minutes, I honestly don't know how long I've walked. I sat on the ground in exhaustion. I feel so frustrated, so tired, so hungry and so weak. "Where do I go from here?" I asked myself.

I placed my head on the wall with my eyes shut. Moments later I could hear a sound, it sounds like music. No, a musical instrument to be precise. It sounded so magical, I stood up from the ground and I decided to locate the music.

After trying to trace the sound, I realized that the sound became louder. I walked pass a scary painting but that isn't why I'm here, I'm here to rescue Benjamin. I was finally able to locate the music. I saw an open door in the middle of a hall way, I peeked inside.

I saw Ixia putting on a white cloth that was rapped around her. The cloth was so transparent and I could see her entire body. Ixia sat on a chair while playing a golden harp. She closed her eyes like she was enjoying every sound that came from the harp.

I tried my best to be as sneaky as possible but that plan backfired. "Come join me Lilith" Ixia said. I paused for a while, how did she know I was here. "I've been expecting you" She said. "Real.... Really?" I asked in fear.

"Yes, it's simple.... Your soul is connected to the boy. So I knew if I take him you would come to me in a heart beat" Ixia said. "Let the boy go... It's me you want. Leave him out of this" I said. Ixia made an evil chuckle.

"If only it were that simple" Ixia said. Ixia walked up to me, I tried to move but I couldn't. She played with my hair for a while. "It was easy getting you to come here" Ixia said. "Do whatever you like but I'm not alone, if I don't get the boy some else will. I'm not alone" I said.

Ixia placed her finger on my chin, I struggled to avoid her finger. Ixia laughed. "That's the problem. You are a naive and so gullible young girl. You trust people too quickly" Ixia said. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"You think that everyone you meet is willing to help you? Hahahaha!!" Ixia said. She placed her nose on my neck and she sniffed me. "When you said you were not alone what did you mean?" Ixia asked. "I came with with someone, if I don't rescue Benjamin she would" I said with confidence.

Ixia laughed again. "This is hilarious. Don't you think Haniel?" Ixia asked. Suddenly Haniel walks out of nowhere. "What.... What's going on?" I asked in confusion. "Do you really think that she would help you? She's a werewolf, she swore her loyalty to me" Ixia said.

"Why? Why did you do it Haniel? I trusted you" I said. "Trust? Don't make me laugh" Ixia said. "I told you not to come. I warned you but you wouldn't listen" Haniel said. "Why are you doing this Haniel?" I asked.

"Isn't it obvious? I love Damien!!" Haniel yelled. "How does that have anything to do with me?" I asked. "You are the only one that stands between Damien and I" Haniel said. "See I'm not the only one who wants you dead" Ixia said.

"Ixia promised me that I would have Damien once you are out of the picture" Haniel said. "What? That's a lie. Ixia wants Damien dead so badly" I said. "That's not true. Ixia want what's best for me. The only problem is the love Damien has for you" Haniel said.

"What are you talking about? Damien doesn't love me" I said trying to convince her. Haniel smirked. "I did everything to make Damien notice me. I pretended to be in love with an Omega, I planned for him to be killed by my father so Damien would notice me.... Do you want to know what happened?" Haniel asked.

I don't understand what is going on right now. "Instead he killed my father just to compensate someone for the death of his son" Haniel said. "That has nothing to do with me!!!" I screamed. "Really? Well that's funny cause this is where you come in" Ixia said.

"Ixia came up with the perfect plan for me to get Damien. It was the perfect plan. I would pretend to be in danger and Damien would help me.... I mean the plan did work. I offered my body to him as a reward of his kindness but he refused..... Damien has never rejected spending a night with a woman but that night he did" Haniel made her way towards me.

"I was soon informed that you went missing that day and because of that Damien couldn't think of any other thing except you" Haniel said. "Yet you deny he feels nothing for you" Ixia said.

"You have to believe me Damien feels nothing for me..... Ixia has manipulated you into thinking that you can have Damien but it's a trick. She has tricked you into believing that Damien would love but the truth is she wants Damien dead cause he killed her husband" I said.

Haniel slapped me so hard. "That I enough.... Your little tricks wouldn't work on me. Ixia is my master, I would never betray her and she has never lied to me" Haniel said. "See a puppy would never forget its master" Ixia said.

"Haniel, Damien would never love you. He has never loved any woman that only woman he loved is..." Haniel didn't let me finish. She punched me and I fell to the ground. "You want to rub it on my face right? The fact that he loves you.... You want to rub it all over my face" Haniel said.

"He doesn't love me, he loves...." Yet again she didn't let me finish, she punched me again. "I have loved Damien for as long as I can remember. And now I finally get to have him but you are a thorn in my flesh" Haniel said.

Ixia went to Haniel, she patted Haniel on the head like an actual puppy. "There, there. Why don't you take her to the boy where she would spend her last moments with him" Ixia said. "Alright" Haniel replied. Ixia walks back to her throne, she brought out a metal cuffs and she handed it to Haniel.

They both looked at each other like they were communicating. "With pleasure" Haniel said. Haniel cuffed me, she dragged me like I was a slave. "Lilith!!" Ixia called out my name which made Haniel and I to stop.

"You could have killed me when you had the chance but instead you banished me... Here I am" Ixia said with a grin. "I want to return the favor..... Enjoy your precious time with the boy cause it is the last time you would ever see him" Ixia said.

"Wait, if you kill me... I want you to promise me that the boy would return safely to his Father" I said with my fingers crossed. "You have my word" Ixia said. Do you expect me to believe Ixia? Not In this life or the next. Haniel dragged me to the dungeon. I would definitely figure out a way to escape.
