Hyoksi categories

Atlas woke up quite late. It was 1 o'clock. It was time for lunch. His head hurt as the room felt stuffy and hot. Atlas heaved his bones of his bed.

He walked for quite a while and entered the toilet. He washed his face with water and got rid of the food and water that were in his body.

Atlas took a quick shower before returning to his room.

Atlas sat down on his bed. What was he to do next? He didn't want to go class. Who did? The man just escaped from the grasp of death and he did not want to waste it by going to class and having to deal with entitled young masters.

Besides he could destroy this entire school if he wanted to.

"No, I can't actually, Damien only managed to reach such a level of power in his second year. Currently I don't have enough strength to even defend myself against young masters."

Atlas held out his hand in front of him. He tensed his arm and finally he saw the results he was looking for. His hand increased in size. It was thick, strong and powerful. The size of it was similar to his thigh back on earth.

Atlas loosened his arm and it returned to it's normal size. "Gigantification, check!"

Atlas then stared at the wall. He stared at it for quite a long time without blinking. He let out a long sigh before shaking his head.

"Heat vision, not available."

Atlas then picked up a small knife that was in the equipment boxes that he packed the previous night. He took a deep breath before cutting his skin.

Atlas winced and wanted to stop but he endured. Atlas watched in amazement as his skin stitched itself up, repairing itself until it was as if there was nothing wrong with it.

"weak level regeneration, check! Currently I have only gigantification and a healing factor. I don't have heat vision so I would say it's only my first term and probably around chapter 12 or something."

Atlas walked over to the mirror and and admired himself. He had not been able to to get a good look at himself since yesterday. His body was skinny and there was practically no meat on it. He had six abs but it looked pathetic due to the fact that he was skinny and lacking body mass.

His legs were long and full of scars. He had a buzz cut. He had soft caramel skin that was covered with freckles and yellow eyes that did not match him at all. He was ugly.

"Oh, I should have made him look better. He looks like an anorexic scapegoat."

Atlas put on a simple t shirt and cargo pants. He entered the kitchen and made himself some cereal. He then spent some time dancing as he waited for the microwave to turn of.

He then went back into his room and ate his food.

"So the first thing I need to do l, is become stronger. This is currently chapter 12 or so then that means Damien was jumped recently by young master Gul and his cronies. So I just need enough strength to defend myself for the time being until I figure out how to to activate Hyoksi."

Hyoksi was the main power system of this world. Atlas did not want his book to be a cliche so he decided to make his own power system instead of going with the cliche mana or rankings.

In this world there was no rankings whatsoever. If you were strong, then you were strong. No one would come around with a magical power scouter and say to someone "hey I just measured your strength and I have seemed that you are B class."

Such logic never made sense to Atlas at all.

"Currently I only have my gigantification and healing factor. Damien also knew a slight bit of martial arts at this time in the book. I wonder if my body will instinctively react and let me use martial arts. I highly doubt it though. I'll just have to rely on my gigantification ability until I can use Hyoksi."

Hyoksi was a powerful force that existed everywhere except for within living objects. Hyoksi was an incredibly ancient and powerful force that existed for a long time. It was even dated as far back as the age of dinosaurs.

Hyoksi was divided into six main categories. They were Fullions, Kosu, Borrowers, enhancers and auxiliaries. Those were the main categories that Hyoksi was divided into. If you were one of those then you could not be any other. Fullions were elementals. They used Hyoksi to use one of the elements to do their bidding. They could summon a giant flame at the palm of their hands or create earthquakes.

Kosu were people who could use special abilities. Kosu were unique in the way that they were the only people who could use their abilities on instinct without training. They were rare but not very rare. One out of every hundred people was a Kosu.

Borrowers were really interesting. They mainly got their abilities from creatures they consumed. They were known for their high physical abilities. They would also have one or two abilities. The more beasts they consumed the more their physical abilities increased.

Enhancers were the simplest of everyone. They were simply people who continuously trained and became stronger through hardships and experience. Enhancers could reach great heights before they hit a plateau.

Auxiliaries were people with useful abilities. For example Veruca Jones could be classified as an Auxillary. People with healing abilities, like detections and such menial abilities that were not fit for combat were called Auxiliaries.

If you were one of these then you could never become another. If someone trained for a long time and decided to eat a monster, unless they were borrowers then they would gain nothing from it. The same went for borrowers. No matter how much they trained they would only have human levels of strength so they had to eat monsters to gain strength.

However if you remember correctly I said there was 6 main categories and yet I only listed five. That was because there was an additional category. No one knew whether it existed. No one knew if it was either fact or legend because they were incredibly rare. It was so rare that only 1 out of every 4,000,000,000 people was from this special category. This special category was called Shakers.

These shakers were capable of being classified in every other category. They could grow stronger simply from training or devouring monsters. They already had several abilities from the day they were born and were capable of gaining new abilities.

In the entire history of the world there have been only two people who were classified as shakers but they had died nearly 2 centuries ago.

There strength was beyond human logic and understanding and surpassed every other being on the planet. They could shake the entire world with their strength hence the name shakers.
