Everyone's happy (except Claude)

They didn't know who started it, but soon, the whole auditorium was clapping. Some of the students even started cheering.

"I guess this is the day my hopeless love ends!"

One of the excited teenage girls even made a ship name and shouted, "God Charlie! From now on, we aren't your fangirls! We're now diehard shippers of Warlie!"

"Yeah, Warlie!"

"Mommy will kill anyone who dares to break up my OTP Warlie!"

Great. Now they had mommy fans too.

Still, Willow couldn't help but smile at the excited teenage girls. During his time here, he had come to like each and every character of this world. These girls...They're just a little childish. Although they like to scream embarrassing things unabashedly, simp for beauty and romanticize life, they're good at heart. And what's wrong with viewing love even if it's not actually there? Life needs some beauty.

Willow didn't understand the people who viewed such groups as bad or annoying. Well, yeah, they were a little (a lot) cringey and gave ample secondhand embarrassment, they're just some teenage girls at the end of the day. Who didn't do crazy things in their teen years? Why don't we just let them enjoy themselves without judging?

After 8 or 10 years, they're probably going to develop into serious women anyway-

"I'm sorry for you son, but I ship these two! Go Warlie!!!" A blond woman in the second row screamed. She had her hands cupped on her face, making her voice loud and clear.

Uh, forget about the serious woman part.

His mother's shout seemed to wake up Claude from his momentary state of confusion. When that idiot confessed, Claude was overjoyed. He was just teasing him and didn't expect Charlie to take his words literally and actually do it, but the situation was still in his favor. This might even turn out better than what he initially had in mind.

Finally, his rival would be eliminated. After all, which crazy guy confesses out of blue? Claude was sure that he'd be rejected. As far as he knew, Will was straight.

He would be the one to bend willow. Or so he thought.

When he heard Willow agreeing to that idiot's confession, Claude was stunned. No, that wasn't enough to describe it. He was shocked beyond words.

He seemed to fall into a trance and couldn't register what was happening as the hall cheered. Claude was still wishing it all to be an illusion, a bad dream.

His mother's shout finally seemed to wake him up. He rubbed his eyes and looked clearly. Sure enough, those two were still entangled as Charlie shamelessly hugged his Will.

Well, he wasn't originally planning on it, but breaking a couple isn't something that hard either. Hey, don't look at him like that. All's fair in love and war.

After all, Charlie hadn't known Willow for long. No longer than Claude has, anyway. It's just teenage recklessness and hormones. Soon, they'll realize they're not made for each other. And when they do so, Claude will make his move.

Now, before the readers start to judge him, he isn't a homewrecker. He isn't going to purposefully break them up, okay? Well, a little push in the right direction doesn't count, alright?

And God forbid, if they actually didn't break up even after 2 months and his multiple attempts, he'll admit defeat. Claude will accept their love and step back. He isn't some hopeless romantic guy who goes after a bathroom that is already occupied anyway.

He would wish them happiness and... Maybe return to France.

But in those two months, he's not going to leave any stone unturned to get his crush!
