Someone killed Mathieu

Jemeiah assisted Zara onto the horse, soothing her nerves as she clung to the reins. He reassured her of her safety on Willow, his own horse.

"I am surprised you didn't learn from your brother to horse ride," Jemeiah said as he began walking while grabbing the reins on Willow, thus leading it forward.

"Brother Rainard tried teaching me, but a fall frightened me off. I vowed never to learn," Zara confessed.

"Then, why did you agree to me today? You could have refused," Jemeiah asked as he came to an abrupt halt and gazed at her.

"I thought Prince Jemeiah would feel upset. However, I feel better now. Willow is indeed a good horse," Zara said with a smile.

Jemeiah was relieved to hear that Zara didn't feel scared anymore and they covered a long distance. Zara told Jemeiah she would get down the horse so that he could sit up.

"No. You should invite me up," Jemeiah asserted. "I'll take the reins and ride with you," he proposed.
