A hairclip [Bonus chapter]

After watching the carriage depart for the market, Rainard made his way into the mansion. Venturing into the kitchen, his attention was drawn to the sight of the chefs bustling about, preparing Zara's favorite dishes. Amidst the activity, his gaze fell upon Tove, who was engaged in a cheerful conversation with the head housemaid while gathering vegetables into a basket.

Noticing Rainard's presence, the chef paused, "Does Young Master Rainard need something?" and placed his knife on the counter. The other kitchen staff followed suit, their attention shifting towards Rainard, including Tove.

Caught momentarily off guard, Rainard felt a tinge of self-consciousness. He composed himself and addressed Tove, "Could you please bring a jar of water to my room? It seems to have run dry." With that, he excused himself, briefly informing the chef that the matter wasn't of great urgency.

Tove carefully filled a silver jar with crisp, clear water before making her way to Rainard's chamber.
