Alpha's Cafeteria

Class is nothing but a structure of social orientation made by the people living in a society to create divisions between one person and another, to fulfill the greed of power they aspire to get in their lives, and then establishing their position and staying on the top.

But this is not something that has been built overnight, either.

Hence, Myron was sure that this couldn't be broken overnight, too- and with this thought, he paused his steps right outside the Alpha cafeteria.

And it was Louis who noticed him first and was about to ask why, but before he could have uttered a single word, Nora spoke, waving her hands over her head.

"Brother! Why are you standing there? Come in, or else we will be even more late for dinner -"

Keeping a patient tone, Myron offered a vague explanation without actually saying anything explicitly.

"Nora, I know you are unaware of all the rules, regulations and the customs for the Alpha- Beta dynamic, that's why I can not blame you, nor do I blame Alpha Louis or Alpha Robin. But they know why I am here, so I think it would be good if I leave you guys here and go back -"

But before he could have completed his statement, he felt two arms wrapping his shoulders from two different directions, as two boys crossed the distance between them and hung on to his shoulder like spirits.

"And why do you think that being an Alpha, I proposed to come to Alpha's Cafeteria, ditching the lavish dinner of Alpha palace?"

"Or do you think that we consider Betas to be immune to hunger?"

Myron was confused and overwhelmed with the reaction, not knowing how to reply, when he heard Louis' reassuring voice once again.

"I am going to teach Nora the rules, because I want her to know which rule she is breaking and exactly why she is breaking that rule at the same time. And now I am starving, so let's go."

Saying that, they entered the cafeteria and found a table with four sitting in the middle, just like the staff were already waiting for them.

By the time everyone else was figuring out the seating, Louis had already gone ahead and placed the order. Myron and Nora were seated on one of the couches, while Robin was sitting across from Nora. Louis arrived and occupied the empty seat beside Robin, and shortly after that, the servers arrived with piping hot plates of their food.

Beautiful porcelain dishes containing spaghetti bolognese, baked nachos, basil margherita pizza, baked brie pasta, toasted pita with various kinds of dips, and lasagna. And then came pitchers and sparkling glasses of fruit flavoured iced teas, mojito, and glasses of bubble teas. The party had barely had time to indulge in these delicacies, when the array of desserts were brought out to top off the already extravagant selection. Sundaes, pies and even pancakes!

Although she was quite happy so far, Nora couldn't help but roll her eyes at how hard he was trying, that he had ordered a breakfast staple for dinner itself! As if he was so eager to ensure that no item had been left off the menu!

Their dinner at the Cafeteria came to an end amidst bouts of chattering and laughter.

Post dinner, everyone was finally about to bid goodbye to each other in order to meet in the forbidden forest, as decided earlier, before the school timings.

Nora started to feel the fear of being left alone once again, and this was when she subconsciously grabbed Robin's left hand without conscious input or realisation, just when he was about to step in the car after dropping her in front of Alpha palace.

Robin's POV:

"Gosh! Moon Goddess! What have you put me into! Or what have I put myself into?"

Because the moment I saw Ryan leaving, I was about to take a sigh of relief- but no!

Brother had to appear out of nowhere, exactly at that time.

But why!? And before I could have known from where David had arrived in front of the Alpha palace once again, because he had left for his Alpha palace wing long ago… I saw him scaring Nora.

Like! Why did he still think that by scaring someone, he would really get what he wanted in his life?

But anyway… at that time, I just wanted to make sure that he hadn't scared her too much, and also, I was a little bothered with the fact that I was yet to give her the new mobile that I had bought for her.

But how… how should I give it to her? This was the question and in order to find the answer to this question, I ended up inside the Cafeteria as well.

Like!! Moon Goddess!! How dangerous this girl is for my image! Now before anything could go in the wrong direction any further, all I want is to leave her alone and go back to the dorms, so that I could get over all these emotions that are making me go insane, and take a good relaxing bath.

So when Louis asked me to drop her off by himself, I said that we should all go together to drop her there, thinking that I would finally be able to give her the phone.

But again, I don't know how far I could go and how stupid I could be, to think that I could simply gift her a cell phone! When technically, it is prohibited to keep a phone within school premises, and she didn't even know how to use one in the first place.

So I finally decided to keep the phone with me, and leave this topic forever.

When I felt the grip of her hand on my left wrist, I was ready to swear on anything. I really don't know how or even why my mouth uttered those words to Louis and then Nora simultaneously;

"Louis, I think you guys can go ahead, I just realised that I have some important piece of work that needs to be done."

And the long pause till I saw Louis's car vanishing from my eyes, as I turned to her and asked;

"Nora! Princess? You okay? Is there anything bothering you ? Are you afraid of something?"

"Tell me! Tell me, I am here to help you… Tell me, I am here to be with you."

Thankfully, I got the command of my mind back and paused myself from speaking what my heart was forcing me to, after which there would be entirely zero options left to get me out of the tornado of the blunder it would have created.
