Chapter 38 Pathetic As Always

"Tara has children?" Seraphina sounded surprised. Tara never made mention of them.

Cinthia halted on her steps abruptly and turned to stare at Seraphina like she jumped right out of hell in front of her eyes.

"Of course!"

She exclaimed, and shook her head in disbelief.

"You're unbelievable." She muttered, before turning on her heels and continuing on her way with Seraphina not far behind.

"How many are they? Why does Tara not let them live with her? Those little children, they must miss their mother so much."

Cinthia halted on her heels more abruptly this time, and twirled around to stare at Seraphina with a look of horror on her face.

"Did Tara never tell you how old she is?"

Seraphina blinked, realising how much she made a fool of herself. Of course, Tara was more than four thousand years old, and her children wouldn't be children afterall.

"I'll go and get dressed." She turned on her heels immediately, and ran off.
