Chapter 3-New Life, Fun Times

Back at Bell's farmhouse, Okara is seen playing games with Ru. His five-and-a-half-year-old son is currently hiding for their game. Crimson had taught Okara about hide and seek. Which allowed Ru and Okara to bond more. As Ru hides around the house, Okara pretends not to see him. Since he'd sometimes put himself in the open. As Cassa watched she laughed happily as they continued playing.

Arako and Bell watching television while Cassa tailors some clothes. It's a recent skill she picked up and she quite enjoys it. While she pushes a needle through the fabric Ru quickly hides under the table she's working on. Hiding between her legs, she looks down and smiles.

"Don't worry I won't tell him you're here." She whispers as she continues tailoring a pair of Bell's pants. Okara slowly walks by and stops by her.

"Hey, hun have you seen Ru? He just seemed to have disappeared from thin air!"

Okara acting shocked and scared that Ru's gone.

"I thought you were playing with him!"

"I was but he just up and vanished like, like, a magician!"

"Our son? a magician?? I'm so proud."

Cassa and Okara smile as they continue putting up the rouse.

"Well don't just stand there! Go find him Okara! Bring our son back from his magical powers."

Bell and Arako laugh quietly as they watch from the cough.

Suddenly in a burst of excitement Ru jumps out from under Cassa and shouts.

"Here I am daddy!"

Okara and Cassa at shocked at Ru's sudden appearance.

"He's back! Like he appears outta thin air! How did you do that Rui?" (Rui is Ru's nickname sometimes Okara calls him this for fun)

Ru laughs and runs away as Okara slowly chases.

"Oh come on reveal your secrets to me!"

While Okara and Ru play, Cassa takes a break and joins Bell and Arako.

"They're having so much fun. I'm so happy they're getting to spend so much time together."

A loud flushing noise comes from the bathroom as Kytel walks out wiping his wet hands off onto his clothes.

"Did I hear something about magic?"

The three begin laughing.

"Yeah, actually Ru is a magician." Bell said with a chuckle.

"Really now?! No way I thought all the magicians died when my planet blew up."

Everyone stared at Kytel in curiosity and confusion.

"Wait, Kytel we're just joking it makes Ru happy and allows him to think freely."

"Oh! Well, I on the other hand was actually being serious. I myself know a bit of magic."

"Whoa, wait... For real?" Arako asked as he sat up and stared.

"Yeah, sadly the things I would need to do some of the spells don't exist on this planet."

"That's a shame, I was really looking forward to seeing you do magic."

"I was never any good at it. Yoppa could do so much more though."

"Yoppa? Who's that?"

"She was a goddess, the king's daughter, also... My lover."

"Did she die on your planet?"

"Yeah... Sadly I couldn't save her and I've honestly hated myself for it every time I remember it."

"Oh Kytel, I'm sure she's happy that you survived and have grown into a stronger person." Cassa spoke with empathy as she tried to comfort him.

Kytel just felt strongly about the situation and slowly the emotions began to take hold.

"I-I need to be alone right now."

Kytel quickly left the room and through the front door. Before bursting off in a random direction.

"He's suffering, and we're doing nothing to help... I feel so bad for him." Bell says as Arako holds her close.

"We've all had trauma haunt us. We've experienced differently but in the end, all of it hurts us in similar ways." Arako said as he watched the television remembering his past of destruction.

Quickly and loudly Ru runs past the tv and Okara tails him with his arms sticking out, finally catching him and lifting him up.

"Look at you! I got you!"

"Nooo!" Ru says happily as he laughs.

Which caused Cassa to smile.

"I think we should help him understand that everything he has now. Is just as good as what he used to have."

"I wouldn't necessarily say it like that. Maybe along the lines of understanding that what he had will never be forgotten, but it can never come back." Arako said with a strong and grim understanding.

In the middle of a rocky area, where previous battles had taken place. Such as Okara's first time transforming into a Super Saiyan, and many others. Kytel stares up into the sky wondering what he should do. To get rid of his anger and frustration.

"You know, staying angry at the past only pushes you further into an abyss. If anything I'd say you need to gain the courage to accept the change that drastically took hold of your life, and live on with it behind you. Never falling behind forever, but always blowing against your back. Like a memory of fate. Or something along those lines. I don't know I'm not really philosophical."

Kytel turned to see Crimson descending before him.

"What do you mean? Put it behind me, but never let it leave?"

"As I said, nothing truly leaves you. We grow through experience so it'll always be at your back no matter how bad you try to get it away from you. So let it guide you like a push or a wind that presses against your back. Setting you forward, from now and on. Let it allow you to reach the resolve. That you seek and wish to hold onto."

Kytel looks into the sky and raises his right hand to it.

"I wish it was that easy Crimson. But I don't know if I'm as strong as you."

"We're all strong in different ways. I myself had to learn things from years of experience. That experience was nothing but death, destruction, and ruin. Amongst many planets. Yet here I am, with it all pressing against my back like a wind that no longer affects me. Yet guides me to be nothing but a better self than what I was back then."

Crimson places his right hand onto Kytel's right shoulder as they both look into the sky.

"You just gotta let the world guide you onto the path of self-development and truly learn what will help you experience your guide into prosperity. Find your own way Kytel, embrace it and live with it!"

Kytel's eyes watered as Crimson's words breach some of the walls that he had built. Allowing the pain to slowly consume him yet heal at the same time.
