In all emotions known to the human soul there is one that has given me the most indifference—anger. I had known anger only twice in my life; the anger shown to me by Cora, and the anger shown by the vampires. Growing up, my parents never showed the slightest bit of anger or frustration—not in public of course.


If I had my wish to compare anger to something it was like a raging ocean. Anger often led to the most distasteful of actions and never in my histories had I held or seen such anger than I did at the present time. As distasteful as I found holding anger within me, being sought after by such an unruly match as Prince Malik Amman caused the anger in me to boil over like lava from a bubbling volcano.
