PREAMBLE.

Born with magical powers is a thrilling story of a man who was born with supernatural powers by a woman named Dooter

The mother of the child who was born with supernatural powers was actually cursed by a hierarchy sorcerer in the village for discovering her real identity which the sorcerer then told her (Dooter) to join her coven. She refused and so, the sorcerer placed a curse of barrenness on her.

Been cursed ever since she was a little maiden, Dooter grew up to be a matured woman forgetting the sorcerer's curse. As time would have it that she was to be married, it began to take form that the curse would see that indeed Dooter wouldn't have a child in her first marriage and the husband took her back to her parent. She remarried but the same feat from her first marriage came at her again- not even an issue of the slightest sight of a swollen belly as she was again sent back to her parent.
She got married to the third husband but after persevering for more than 3 years, he couldn't handle the pressure of not being a father after a 3years marriage without the slightest of any miscarriage... 3 different husbands and not a child to show for such unions, her parent then decided to find the cause of the barrenness.... Orthodox and unorthodox means were implored and sought after for the spur and cure. With three different men ending their marriage with just one woman due to barrenness, it became the talk of the town to the point of mockery for Dooter as her friends would never cease to mention her misfortunes when a fight or quarrel arises between Dooter and her friends. It went on without the possible nearest solution and thus, the case of Dooter got the best of her mother till it became an heart attack. 

Many doctors both English and native gave their diagnosis that Dooter would never bare a child but the cause of such barrenness they couldn't even fathom or explain and yet Dooter, a strong willeds person never gave up to her I'll fated ordeals. She kept assuring her parent and herself that she wasn't born a barren and she would never remain a barren. She believed so much in herself that she didn't allow the mockery weigh her down as she went her ways in her dealings with her head held high. Her former husbands all remarried and were blessed with offsprings but for Dooter, no one came for her hand in marriage: she was an epitome of misfortune with no fruit of the womb. What love would a man show and how long would a man stay with a barren woman?! Even though she was the prettiest girl in the whole village, no one wanted her as a wife not even a spouse.She was 30yrs of age and yet, not even a suitor asked for her hand in marriage. All hopes seemed lost but to Dooter, she kept on believing.

CHAPTER13: THE REAPPEARANCE OF THE SUPER CHILD.


It was around 10 PM when Mr. Martins and his wife Dooter arrived Lagos after traveling to the village to tell Dooter's parents about the missing child.


The security guards heard the horn while they were already sleeping and rushed to open the gate for them to enter and when they drove in, they opened their car and went straight and nocked for the house help to open the door but she was already deep in her sleep.


They nocked the door several times but she didn't come out to open for them. So, Mr. Martins dialed her number and immediately she Woked up and answered the call and they told her that, they were at the door nocking since.


Immediately she heard that, she rushed to the door and opened for them to enter but as they entered, they were shocked to see the missing child in bed laughing and talking to himself.


All of them were just standing and looking at the baby as if they were in the dream world for almost 20 minutes without even taking a step closer to the baby.


 After staring at him for some minutes with fears and doubt,  Dooter now tried to go close to the bed to touch the little Orkumaga but was held by her husband asking if she knows the child is real but she told him that, she believed the child is real but still Mr. Martins asked her again how she knew he's the real child but she again, told him to remember all the old man had said.


Explaining more to Mr Martins, she (Dooter) again told him that, she believed in the old man since all the things he said are coming to pass.


When she said that, Mr. Martins agreed with her and said that since she has told him about all the things said to her by the old man, the things she said are all happening so she is right. Immediately she heard that from her husband, she became courageous and bent down and held her baby (Orkumaga) up .


As she held him, she saw a necklace on his neck that was twinkling like a bulb and also with a head of a tiger on it but she ignored it because, at that time she was already celebrating....


Both of them called their parents and told them about the reappearance of the baby while celebrating but as Mrs. Mzamber (Dooter's mother) who was always crying heard that, she immediately became the happiest mother on earth but told her daughter Dooter not to stay for long before taking  the child to the village for them to see him.


Few days after the child had returned, Mrs. Anike, (Mr. Martins' mother) visited her son and daughter in-law again to see her grand child.


As the little Orkumaga saw her as she visited them, he immediately started chuckling and that made her (Mrs Anike smiled and played with him. 


And while playing with the little baby, she asked Dooter if they have told her parents but she nodded her head. 


While they were still talking, Mr. Martins' father's call entered his phone...


He asked if the child was fine as he returned and they told him that he's fine.


He reminded them that, he believed the child (Orkumaga) was going to come back and also said to them that, they should not be afraid that the little baby (Orkumaga) may disappear again with full assurance that nothing would happen to the child again but while they were still on the phone, their minds weren't there as they were still celebrating the return of their child so he dropped the call.
