Chapter-34 Washington DC, 38° 54′ 17″ N, 77° 0′ 59″ W At a Coffee Shop

"I've seen the exact same thing as this, but in a larger size. A chip stuck to the navigation panel of the UFO plane in Area 51." Will leaned forward as he explained. His voice was so low that only Cecilia could hear.

"Do you think you can translate it for me Will? Please?" Cecilia leaned in. Their faces were very close to each other.

Will pulled himself back. Cecilia's scent overwhelmed him. The woman knew that I adored her very much.

"I can. It's just that I have to enter the Area 51 facility and it takes months of clearance procedures if there is no special project." Will's eyes looked confused.

"But there is one more facility that is not as strict as Area 51. A professor at MIT developed a prototype similar to the instrument in Area 51. If I can get my hands on the device, I just need to install my program there, and this chip will no longer be a mistery."

"Who are you refering to?" Cecilia was interested.

"Professor Lian Yang. A star physicist."

"Do you know where Professor Lian Yang keeps his device?"

"As far as I know he kept the Star Vision, uh, the device in his office at the MIT campus. While building the device, Professor Lian asked me to do some tests."

Cecilia kissed Willy Booth on the cheek. She took the chip from his hand and whispered before leaving the cafe.

"I will be back with the real thing."

Willy just stared for a moment. He looked at his empty hand and then touched his cheek. He could still smell Cecilia there. Willy smiled.

Right after Willy Booth left the cafe, Andalas and Akiko paid their drink and left. They were going to Boston. Cecilia definitely didn't want to wait until tomorrow.

At the hotel, Cecilia approached Akiko and Andalas who were entering the lobby.

"We're leaving now. I've got a rental car. Just bring the medical stuff, Akiko. Leave the rest."

Andalas and Akiko looked at each other. Exactly as they had expected.

The trip to Boston would take no less than 7 hours by car. Cecilia reduced the risk by not taking a plane. With everything they had experience so far, she was alittle traumatized with airports and planes.

Akiko was driving with Cecilia beside her. Andalas sat in the back.

"Andalas, we must split up once the professor let us borrow the Star Vision device. Akiko and I will stick to our plan and you take care of the Organization's business. I am suspicious with their persistence. I don't think that they are in this just for the sake of acquiring some proprietary technologies or something. I think they don't want anyone to come up with a serum for these diseases. They want this pandemic to happen!"

"For what purpose? Are they a bunch of idiots who control pharmaceutical industries?" Akiko interrupted while looking at the road in front of her.

"No. It's more than that. Their goal is far greater than financial gain or anything. They want to be God's handy man."

Andalas kept silent in the back seat. He was worried about Cecilia's safety but confident in Akiko's abilities. The Organization must be dealt immediately. Otherwise, with the right moment, they would be able to kill them. I have to consult with the Consultant on this matter. That meant he had to fly to Hong Kong.

They wrestled with each other's thoughts throughout the rest of their trip. Cecilia hoped when they asked Professor Lian to let them use his device, he would not mind.

But they could steal it. After all he was not inside a secure facility invested with gun carrying guards. Couldn't they? Cecilia closed her eyes trying to catch a quick nap.

Akiko was thinking what she would do if the Organization happened to hire her father's services. Akiko was confused.

She committed herself to MS-BA-30. But what if she had to cross path with her father and had to face the merciless Yakuza? She wasn't afraid at all. The only thing she feared in the world was that she died before she could contribute anything to humanity.

They stopped five times to eat, refuel and toilet break. They drove as fast as possible. Andalas replaced Akiko who immediately fell asleep in the back seat. Cecilia was also sleeping. As expected, the road trip was less risky.

But Andalas's watchful eyes could see that there were two SUVs tailing them for sometimes. They had been shadowed since New York state border. Andalas, who was not familiar with U.S. terrain, woke Cecilia up.

"Is there any large rest area somewhere?" Cecilia was about to scold Andalas for waking her up for such trivial matter instead of looking at the map himself. But Cecilia then realized that Andalas always had serious intention with everything he said.

"What's wrong? Are you hungry? Want proper meal?" They have been consuming fast food along their trip for practical reasons and to avoid staying too long in one place.

Andalas shook his head. He gestured his head toward the rearview mirror.

"We are being followed. I need a large area to deal with them and avoid collateral damage."

Akiko woke up. She overheard the conversations about good eating and victims.

"Let's just deal with them on this road!" Akiko grabbed the Heckler & Koch MP5 from the rear cabin.

"No! I need to get information from one of them. Doctor Aslan missed the chance to question the two fake flight attendants while they were detained because they committed suicide with cyanide pill implanted in their molars."

"Aah what a pity. They were really just pawns." Cecilia felt sorry for their deaths.

"The Executor never forgives failure. Remember the young man who was caught at the Doha airport? He was also found dead from cyanide poisoning in his holding cell." Andalas explained.

"Okay. After Boston, we will return to D.C. to see Will. And what's your plan, Andalas?" Cecilia looked at the cold face from the side.

"The Consultant. Hong Kong." Andalas replied succinctly.

"So what about them, Andalas?" Akiko asked while counting how many MP5 magazines were available. She liked this light weapon.

Without looking back, Andalas replied briefly,

"We'll blow them up at the rest area. We need one of them alive."

Cecilia gasped. She had goose bumps on her neck. The man was dangerous to mess with.
