A Not So Rosy Perspective (2)

This was expected for Beatrix Sprin. She looked directly at the Vampire and refused to back down her gaze because she turned out to be right about this person. He was not a good person as Eleanor told her.

"Do your worst," Beatrix said.

Without any hopes of reconciling with Ashter Bouw, and knowing fully well how powerful this being was–she had resigned herself to this fate.

"Very well," Cassius Blackwell said.

However, before he could do anything–a crash erupted from below them. It alerted both Cassius and Princess Eleanor who exchanged looks with one another.

"Stay there for a moment, Miss Beatrix." Cassius said, reached for Eleanor's hand and disappeared in a blink of an eye.

Beatrix's jaw dropped. That person teleported out of nowhere–something that even most Mages nowadays had difficulties achieving. It was a pinnacle that something like a High Mage or an Archmage might be able to do and yet…

It only brought a churn to her stomach.
