Obi Uchi

He soon finished his inspection and thankfully, there were no cuts and had only one inflamed part which he had treated already. He slowly looked up to meet her gaze and forced a gentle smile "It's done. There is only one scalded area where I already put an ointment on. I don't think there is a need to take any oral medication for it, just this ointment would do. Remember to put it thrice a day" Li Yang reminded to which Rain nodded.

After that only he knew, how he managed to hold a conversation with Elliot without raising his suspicions until he left the building.

Li Yang opened his eyes and stared outside the window, taking in the passing scenery 'I am sorry Elliot, although I shouldn't be keeping this from you as a friend, it is not right for me to do so both ethically and morally. It is not my secret to tell. I don't know what consequence it will hold if I reveal it being the person, who himself doesn't know the truth. Besides, the old man would have already told us if it was right for us to know.' He took a deep breath trying to calm his surging emotion.

He wondered if Rain had other injuries in her body when he suddenly remembered the wounds on her shoulder, he saw back at the Clam city. He felt his heart ache for Rain. He sighed once again 'I should stop thinking about this.'

Back at the Apexi corporation's building, the afternoon meeting was postponed for a while because of the little episode that happened in Elliot's office. The employees were amazed that their devilish president could be this caring towards his employee. Their respect for him increased a notch and they were even more determined to stay loyal work hard for this caring handsome demon.

After Li Yang was done treating Rain, Elliot went to attend the meeting taking Jay with him as he wanted Rain to rest.

After Elliot departed to attend the meeting, the door to the president's office unlatched and a small shadow could be seen walking towards the office desk where all the important documents were kept. The person fumbled among the documents until a brown envelope became unsurfaced with the words Obi Uchi engraved on it.

Rain opened the envelope, and a photograph came to her view. She glared at the picture until the image coincided with a man smiling conceitedly in her memories. She may lose her memories, may forget about the world, the people around her and maybe even her brothers but not this person. It was a face that was engraved in Rain's soul. The face which was the most responsible for all her pain and all her nightmares. He was the person who made her the way she was today.

Back when she had come to deliver coffee to Elliot, her gaze had accidentally landed on the picture which was placed on his table and it floored her for a second. Immense anxiety filled her which she quickly overcame but the cup of coffee in her hand had shattered into pieces by then and an immensely worried Elliot was standing by her side asking about her well-being.

Rain so wanted to ignore these people and grab the envelope which encased this man's information. But she held out on her temptation. She impatiently waited until Elliot left the office for his meeting. Fortunately, Elliot took Jay with him instead of her and even forgot the envelope on his desk. Not that he was worried that someone would actually dare to break into his office for this piece of information.

'So, Obi Uchi is your real name huh? I can't believe you are still alive.' Rain smirked and quickly snapped the photos of the document and rearrange the documents in their initial state. Once outside, she sent all the details to Alex and get back to her work as if nothing happened.

At the end of the day, Elliot personally drove Erena to her apartment giving the reason that she was injured, and Rain could not refute him.

At night she received a call from Alex, "sister Rain, how did you manage to find this information. I have been looking into this person for years now but still did not manage to find even his real name. You are great. But I thought he was dead."

"Yes, I thought the same. And as for the information, I did not find it. I stole it." Then Rain filled him with the details of the day.
