You have rusted

Obi narrowed his eyes for a second and then burst into a fit of mad laughter. "Hahaha…hahaha. Do you think that these mere four men that came with you could stand against my hundred people, whom I have personally groomed over the years. You are still too naïve if you think so. And as for you, I am now capable enough to stand and hold a fight against you. I may even defeat you. Want to have a try? Sure." just as he finished speaking, he quickly raised his hands to throw a punch aiming at the skinny man's stomach.

The skinny man quickly dodged the attack, but the punch still managed to graze his clothes. Irritated, the man speedily raised his leg and brought it towards Obi's right shoulder.

Obi grabbed the incoming leg while he dodged the attack as he uttered "And do you know, I even have a advantage over you as I know all your weaknesses." He made a move again, swiftly bringing his fist forward aiming at the man's stomach again.

The man dodged once again and managed to land a punch on Obi's jaw to which the latter did not react. It was as if he did not get punched at all.

The skinny man was puzzled.

Obi took a step back as he sneered "This is not how I taught you to fight. To let your attention wander during a combat. You have rusted…. My Dear Rain."

Rain chuckled, "Have I?"

Just as Rain finished speaking, Obi felt a sting on his waist. His eyes widened as he looked down at the site of the sting only to find a syringe stuck at his waist. "Damn it!" he cursed as he felt a wave of dizziness hit him.

"Are you sure that I have rusted and not you? I have never forgotten the things that you taught me, but it looks like you have erased everything about them from your mind. Rule number one of fighting a combat – never underestimate your opponent and let your guard down, remember?" Rain smirked as she caught hold of unconscious Obi as he fell forward.

Behind her, the underling of Obi was stunned as he looked at the scene unfolding before him when he felt something hit his neck and the next moment, he fell on the ground, lifelessly.

"What's the situation outside?" Rain asked the bodyguard, as she handed Obi over to him.

The bodyguard bowed as he reported, "Our people managed to handle couple of their men, but the other side got a hint of what was going on and lured our men to one of the rooms specified for their training and are fighting with them. Although our men exceed in the power and capabilities as compared to them, but they are not bad either. And currently with our men being outnumbered, they are trying their best to subdue them. It might take a while before they can finish them off."

"What are we waiting for then? Let's go help them and finish this before we attract unwanted attention" Rain said heading towards the door.

The other bodyguard quickly stood in her way, stopping her from moving forward as he bowed his head "I am sorry, but we were ordered to stop you from fighting, miss."

Rain looked the bodyguard in his eyes and deadpanned, "Ohh! Interesting. But the question is, can you?"

The bodyguard gulped. He could not! Even if he were to combine the power of all his fellow guards, he still could not. 'Dear big boss, why did you have to assign me to this demon here. Does she even need a bodyguard' but he soon deflated as he realized a huge mistake in his question.

'Sigh, how can I forget that our main job is not to protect her from any danger, but to stop her from posing a threat to others. In the process, even if we have to fight with her, we should be ready to break our bones when the time comes. What kind of family is this?'

The next moment, the current condition of her previous guards came to his mind, and he soon stepped out of her way. If the fight with her was inevitable, it was better to finish off the enemies first and to lure her away from here, than to fight with her right now.
