Amy whipped her head to see Jeff grinning at the door. She frowned. "What are you doing here?" She believed that she had enough for the day.

Jeff smiled more as his feet crossed and she noticed he was still in his fancy moccasins. "I came to check up on you, after the ordeal, can I come in?"

She got off the bed and walked to him. "What a pleasurable visit," she said sarcastically. Jeff ignored her and got to the room sitting on a chocolate-colored sofa leaving her standing.

"By the way you were awesome." He smiled at her.

She smiled back, this time genuinely and Jeff caught it. "I did what I could." She moved and sat on the edge of her bed facing him.

"I am proud of you Amy." She smiled again… wait, just wait, why was he being all chirpy, happy, and caring? Her face changed drastically. "Okay, what are you thinking?" Jeff asked noticing the change in her face. The way this woman's brain ran was still wonder Seriously? How did this woman's brain really run? "Hey, Amy, we aren't enemies, we live under the same roof, and share the same table, why can't you just lower your defenses with me?" he explained to her as if she was a five-year-old kid.

Amy ran her tongue on her teeth leisurely. "I am sorry but I believe friendliness is earned."

Sighing helplessly, he changed the topic. "So tell me," he looked at her scary pajamas. "Why do you like these pajamas it isn't sweet?"

Amy looked at her cloth and remembered the time they met in the mall for the first time. "Nothing about me is sweet."

"But that is just odd, who even makes such?"

Amy looked at him interestingly. "Are you afraid of ghosts Jeff?"

"Me? ptf, no, why would I?"

She shrugged. "I don't know, because you have some nasty experience?"

"No, by the way, I have never gotten the chance to ask you if you like this place." Seeing that she wasn't in her ever-detached mood he decided to make good use of it.

"Well, owing to the places I have been before, this place is heaven."

"And you have used my black card only thrice?" he lifted a brow imploring her to go on and explain.

"What do I have to buy? I have everything I have."

Jeff blinked twice. "Everything you have? Stephanie uses at least not less than a million a month." Amy's jaw dropped to the floor. She put her hands forward to stop him from talking more.

"Y-you," she took a deep breath. "What does she buy? What do you even earn?"

Jeff smiled at her question. This lady was just too naïve and to his shock he found it cute. "She says it is ladies' stuff," he shrugged. "I don't know much about that but I know ladies buy jewels and all that. I have never seen you with any?" he searched her neck with his eyes for any.

Amy shook her head. "Not every lady, I don't do that. Besides, chill, how much do you earn?"

"Several million, that's my salary, but the company's money is at my disposal. I literally own the company."

Amy stared at him, why was he saying these huge sums like he was just talking about the number of fingers he had? "Okay, so you want to tell me that you also gave Stephanie a black card too?"

Jeff shook his head amused. "No, I transfer a certain amount to her monthly or whenever she asks for it."

"Jason and grandpa?"

"Jason gets a certain amount per month while grandpa gets his money from the company directly."

"Oh," she said as she yawned. "What about me, if I use your card what do you use?"

"I have all the money I want. You need the card more than me, although I am disappointed you use it less." He pouted and winked.

Amy lifted her brows. "Well, what to say, my clothes aren't expensive, everything I can imagine is in this house. What could I do? I can't simply misuse money because it exists, wait…" she jumped on her feet. "I have an idea!" she screamed excitedly.

Jeff looked at her with interest, he found it interesting to watch her excitedly, she looked like a toddler who had just gotten their Christmas present. "What idea?" he couldn't help asking with a smile.

"Well, I will have a street campaign and feed street children, I'll support orphanages! There are so many orphanages, ah no, that's flooded too…yes, yes, I have a greater idea!"

"And what is that?" he asked resting his chin on his knuckles his eyes never leaving her face

"I will support local sports teams," she announced proudly.

"I didn't know you liked sports?" he couldn't help asking more just the need to see her talking so happily and carefree made him pleased. He didn't care that this was weird and foreign to him.

"No, I don't really go to the field, but hey, I want our country's sport to go to another level. I want to do something useful for those people with dreams out there. Especially since I can."

"Okay, you sound excited, if you need anything from me, you know I'll help."

Amy gave him an eye, she wasn't sure of that line. "Yeah, sure, but you don't need to bother, your black card is enough." She displayed her version of Cheshire's smiles to him. "Now, mister, I am sleepy, I hope you don't mind stepping out of the room."

Jeff stood up to leave, a smile plastered on his face. "Goodnight Amy."

"Goodnight," she pushed him away from her room and locked the door behind him.
