Stephanie!!? (Edited)

Slowly, Amy led the car out of the company gates before accelerating like a maniac. All Jeff did was sit back and watch her; he was almost used to this madness. "You ungrateful brat, now I only have around ten minutes for the assignment," she mumbled under her breath but loud enough for Jeff to hear.

A smirk formed on his lips. "What, aren't you a genius?"

Amy's eyes sharped and narrowed at him dangerously. "Don't say a word or I'll bang your side on a wall." That momentarily made Jeff shut up. As the car rolled into Jeff's property, Amy was whistling under her breath happily a contrast to what she had been a few minutes ago.

"If I may ask Stephanie to move in with me, will you oppose it?" Jeff asked out of nowhere.

Her eyes widened at his words and then wondered why she was even surprised. "Why would I, we all know you built it for her, I am not a selfish bitch who doesn't know her place, Jeff. I might be married to you but I know that Stephanie is the love of your life."

These words should have brought a smile to his face but shockingly, they didn't. Why was she speaking as if she didn't care? Why, was she made of stone? "Do you hate her so much?" he asked again.

Amy shook her head. "No, I don't have the energy to channel to that category on her. I would rather eat and sleep, though I wonder what you saw in her?" she lifted her right brow in question, her hands on the wheel and her eyes on the road as the mansion came into view.

"Would you advise me to look for someone else?" he watched her expression keenly.

Amy shrugged. "I don't think I would advise that although I am curious what she would do to other girls, go to their homes and bring terror?" she laughed softly at her joke.

So, she thought of his villa as home? She said it so naturally as if it was normal. The sound of it just made him feel warm. His thoughts were interrupted by Amy's blank expression. He followed her eyes and saw Stephanie standing by the entrance of the house. The car came to a halt immediately.

"Amy?" he called.

She blinked after some time. "Eh, Jeff, please alight from here, I don't want to meet that b*tch with you, she would simply add to my problems."

Jeff face's turned sour. "What do you mean by that?"

"Just get out before she approaches this car!" she shouted and they saw Stephanie take a step toward the car. Jeff got put as Amy sped into the underground parking that was already open.

She came out later and met the devil incarnate in the living room, squeezing the life out of Jeff in the name of a hug. She was about to go upstairs when she caught sight of two huge suitcases in the corner of her eye. They widened in shock, no, it couldn't be what she was thinking.

"W-what are those bags for?" she found herself asking making the two pull away from their squeezing.

Stephanie lifted her chin proudly. "I have a leave so I would be staying here for the month."

"Month?" both Amy and Jeff asked.

Stephanie nodded as her hands trailed on Jeff's cheeks. "Yes, a month."

"No, no, you can't stay here for a month, no, please just find some other place okay? No, I will run mad!" no, this was just a nightmare right?

Stephanie's look changed. "And who gave you the right to decide things for me? I am going to stay here; this is my hubby's house."

Amy coughed sarcastically. "Hubby, did you just call my husband hubby?" she asked giving Stephanie an innocent look that she was sure was going to piss her off.

"Yes, we all know that he was forced to marry you, and he loves me so he's my hubby." She placed her hands on her waist.

Clapping and laughing at the same time, Amy retorted, "You know you are calling my husband hubby as if you're very sure that you will never be his legal wife. Is that why Stephanie?" she asked sweetly cherishing every moment of it.

Stephanie lunged forward but Jeff grabbed her and pulled her into a hug rubbing her back, trying to calm her down. "You witch!" she hissed between her teeth and Amy enjoyed her face being red from anger.

Amy continued unshaken. "So, I was saying you don't need to use hubby, there are a lot of other names out there unless you're accepting the fact that you can't be his legal wife." Goodness, taunting Stephanie was turning out to be her hobby. "And before you move in, I would like to make sure that you are aware that you aren't allowed to step into my business it is what Jeff and I agreed on and if you do, he isn't allowed to step into my business think carefully before you make a choice."

"This is my boyfriend's house so I am his business," Stephanie said as Jeff released her.

Amy smiled. "As long as you stay away from my side and my things, you don't need to worry about me." She tapped her chin with her index finger. "And I don't think you should call him boyfriend anymore, use the word lover, he's already married." Her eyes glinted with mischief when she saw Stephanie blaze with anger.

Jeff came between them. "Amy, stop this," his tone wasn't cold but neither warm. But it was an improvement to anyone who knew Jeff.
