Confused, Jeff? (Edited)

Stephanie drew near to Jeff and engulfed him in her arms. Like usual squeezing the hell out of him. "Honey," she nuzzled her little annoying head on Jeff's chest.

This made Jeff make a disgusted face which he quickly hid from her eyes, the last thing he wanted was to coax the woman. "Stephanie, what are you doing here?"

Stephanie detached herself from him and gave him a blank and confused look. "Honey, this is our mansion, I was just looking around when I heard your voice, besides this mansion was initially mine and it is as if I am foreign to it." She fiddled with a button on his T-shirt. "Honey, I heard that bitch saying that she could divorce you, I want to marry you and be your wife, I want to have kids with you. Please let her divorce you so that we could get married." Jeff lifted a brow. Was this the same woman who used to avoid marriage before, why was she hellbent on being his wife now?

It wasn't as if he couldn't grant her that wish, he was as powerful enough, even capable of making the wedding of her dreams happen with a snap of his fingers but something inside him disagreed. Somehow, someway her talking of marriage irked him. It no longer fascinated him like before. The thought of her being his wife just gave him headaches, he didn't want to imagine the woman with her annoying attitude running around his house or worse, his life.

To his shock, he found Amy a thousand times easier to get along with as compared to Stephanie. This thought made him question where his relationship was going. But the woman in his arms didn't even let him think things through, she kept tugging his T-shirt like an immature annoying kid. "Huh?" was there something he had missed?

"I want her out of this house, honey, I want to move in fully, I want us to get married. I want her out of our lives."

Jeff blinked twice. He tilted his head to look at her face more clearly. "Stephanie, you know that is impossible." He kept his voice low and plain. Yes, he wasn't debating he was stating a fact that she should obey.

Stephanie opened her mouth and shut it, cutting a sorry figure. Words seemed to fail her for a while. It was as if she couldn't believe that Jeff would deny her something. Something he knew very well that she wished to have.

"Jeff," she managed. Pulling her hand from him and taking a step back to get a better view of his face. "Please." She gave him her best puppy eyes. One that used to work on him without fail. Little did she know that the effect on him had started to wear off, and fast.

A frown made its way to Jeff's face. Why was he even debating with his woman? There were a lot of better things he could do in life. "I am leaving."

Her mouth fell on the floor. "Leave? Jeff." She was getting angry. "We were just talking right now!"

Smirking, he lifted a brow and left.
